Idk why they don't make regenerative brakes for rollercoasters. Think of all the stored up energy is wasted stopping trains at the end if rides. If they made the brakes spin a turbine they could create energy and bring down energy costs for the parks. Think of all the energy that would add up all day long from trains braking all day long especially on crowded rides.
Looks like an awesome addition to a park already full of incredible coasters!

Moving/ contact parts wear and need replacing. Magnetic braking without contact is more efficient.
