This is why I loved the episode Opie the Birdman. This video makes me love it that much more. In the final scene, I get emotional every time I watch it. Opie says: "Cage looks awfully empty." Andy's response is awesome. "Yeah, but don't the trees seem nice and full." Great writers. It reminds me of my dad and those special father and son moments of childhood. I guess I'm an old sentimental softy at heart.
Andy would dicipline Ron Howard behind the scenes that's what made the Andy Griffith Show such a good show. That's why Ron is such a good person. Good video bob
Yeah Bob, a great video !! Among many things that made the show appealing my 2 favorite's are the Down home feel & the great father & son relationship they had. Because Some people didn't have that.
I always thought Gidget had the coolest father on television. Ward was also a cool father. Mr. C on Happy Days. Or the fathers who never were. Hoss, Adam, or Little Joe. The late bloomers. Captain James Kirk, or Marshall Matt Dillion. John Amos on Good Times. Just great in molding the clay for a positive impact on society.
Taylor was "Boss" of Mayberry and Griffith was "Boss" of The Show (Yeah I KNOW Leonard produced it but wouldn't be on set ALL the time) but Rance was always there too. 🤓😎✌🏼☮️
The framed ads(?) you put up during the middle of your show about the 2:00 through 2:30 mark is a distraction. I found myself unable to hear what you were saying because I was reading these ads/panels. I think adding them to the end of the show as you did is sufficient. Thank you for your time. God bless you in the new year.
Child actors who turned out well tended to have good families. Ron Howard said that his father sometimes whipped him on sets. I'd be very concerned if Andy did the same thing. But the talks are very understandable. Andy Taylor was one of Tv's better fathers. Some seem to know it all. Others are idiots. While maintaining his authority role, Andy Taylor was big enough to admit when he was wrong.

❤Love the Show and all the info you add makes it personal and even better series. Thank you, sir 🥰
Thank you!

It's a shame that more Hollywood kids didn't have parents like Ron Howard did. 😕
Great video. Always thank you. Andy and Ron were great as father and son. Blessings to all Melanie
I am glad that everyone looked out for Ron Howard on the set and behind the scenes. Thanks Bob.
Thank you I loved it ❤
Ron had good Parents and it was good that the Cast was good to Him.
It's likely ALL adult cast and crew looked after opie
Amazing show .shared
I watched Rance the few times he was on TAGS. Didn't think he was a good actor but obviously, a good dad.

John Amos made good times. What a great actor and character

Ronny Howard was allowed to eat as much ice cream as he wanted when he was on set as long as he didn't gain weight
Clint Howard’s politics are actually conservative, whereas Ron is a liberal.
Andy was liberal too
❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
