we were given just one time to see these done in school and not even given time to practice in these covid times practicles should have been deleted or postponed to help students understand it more rather than taking them so early cbse doesn't think about students at all.......

Hii..I just wanted to ask you a question as I have my boards practicals tomorrow..n I know litterraalllyy nothing about practicals...do we have to make all the connections in this practical or it is previously made by the teachers and we just have to take the readings??🥺
Now we can see for the secondary connection from the point A of the potentiometer connection is made to the positive terminal of the leclanche cell . Similarly from the point A a connection is also made to the +ve terminal of the Daniel cell
Seeing students commenting tmrw is may practicals, tdy is my practicals, 1 hr to go 😂..... Nd tdy I became the one among them who's watching this having my practicals tdy.....🚶🏻♀️🥲🥺
Now to compare the emfs of leclanche cell and Daniel cell using potentiometer so first we can do the primary connection a point A of the potentiometer is connected to the +ve terminal of the battery eliminator
Sir it was well explained...tomorrow is my board practical and I was still very doubtful regarding the arrangements...I searched a lot of portals and channels for this yet if still remained a mystery...if I manage to score between 25 and 30 I'd credit that to you ❤🙏😊
6 strings means 5 complete strings (i.e. 500 cm) and the rest 66 cm are on the 6th string. You will get 600 at the end of the 6th string and 600+ to 700 readings on the 6th string
For the first five strings the value is 500 (5x100) and as the sixth string is an even number , u should take the reading from right to left then it will come 500 + 66. NOTE that if it is an odd string (1,3,5,7,9)then u should measure from left to right and if an even string(2,4,6,...) then from right to left.
it is advised so to prevent wear and tear of the apparatus, however for accurate reading instead of tapping the jockey on the potentiometer wire, you can simply just slide the jockey. But while doing so avoid applying a lot of pressure.
we were given just one time to see these done in school and not even given time to practice in these covid times practicles should have been deleted or postponed to help students understand it more rather than taking them so early cbse doesn't think about students at all.......
