    1. Initally keep the convex mirror and convex lens at any distance apart from each other, but it is better if it is not too far apart.
    2. Now take the object and adjust it such that the parallax is removed.
    3. Once done, remove the mirror and again adjust the other pin such that parallax is removed
    4. Find value of R
    5. For next observation, do not change position of lens, instead bring the mirror a bit closer (around 2 cm) to the lens and repeat the experiment.
    P.S: My practicals are over and I got this experiment. But thankfully I got good readings.

      The rough focal length is 18.5 cm, so from 55 cm, the pin is placed 18.5 cm apart

      Focal length of lens will determine the object position(ie, we will place the object outside focal range), lens position is arbitrarily chosen.

      we have to position the object needle between the focus and radius of curvature...so if we multiply less than equal to 1, we will not get the appropriate position...similarly if we multiply more than 2, it will go beyond radius of curvature... You can multiply any number between 1 and 2...but just to get a round figure, we usually multiply 1.5
