For battle damage, add a tiny ball of putty/greenstuff in the drilled divot then squish it out with the end of a brush or something that fits. Bullet to metal deformation causes molten bits to squish out, look at realistic tank modeling and you'll see this method being used frequently. Angle is also important. Head on shots would cause direct energy transfer rather than glancing/deflected blows like these divots would imply.

There's other fancy stuff like gyrostabilization but the concept is.. fast moving metal slugs. What happens to metal at high speed impacts? It melts. It's how anti tank shells work, by injecting molten copper into the tank itself. The copper isn't just molten then fired, it's the entire conversion of energy that causes it. The difference is in a bolter it's internals is just called "dense metallic core" instead of copper like we use. Hey Jay, I know this is an older video and I’m not sure you’ll see this, but I was wondering what super glue specifically you were using. I’ve tried a couple but I always find them a bit too thick and difficult to work into the chain to avoid clogging them or too thin and the glue runs everywhere and has to be tediously shaved away. If you have a suggestion I’d love to hear it!
They said in their faq vid, that they cant keep up with the EOB completes so they had to scrap it. Though its still up in discord :> and the whole community can still look at the works
I wish there were more videos like this; showing how to make Imperial Fist or especially Iron Fist. Ik IronnFists aren’t too popular but it’s a shame that there’s a complete lack of models that have robotic arms or legs. Like they’re okay with putting their dead in kill boxes but using machines to get an arm back that was blown off isn’t okay?
Nice. I stuck a bunch of chains, rolled up blankets, fuel cans, grenades, ammo boxes and the such like on some Space Marine bikers once. True to lore? No. Looks cool? Oh yes…

I liked that part a lot in the book "Sigismund"
I mostly like the idea of ramming huge nails in the REACTOR.

I actually like both the Dark Angels and Black Templars purely because of their knightly/Crusader Style so I might collect both.
Sewing pins are a great idea. I’m going to have to get my hands on some.
I had a bunch of leftover chainswords from crusader spruces that I used but now I wish I did this.
Thanks, I recently had some chain after my necklace broke, this was perfect!
Perfect, I've just made black Templars my main chapter haha
2:54 don't we all?!...
but jay! where are the candles?! >:O

Would love to see how you painted the Maltese Cross on the helmet. Been trying it and I'm slowly pulling my hair out 😂
I think he explained it in another video.
is this the complete video? feels like it was cut short, or just me??
Same
It's one of their short videos. Like when they do basing tutorials, etc ...
Yeah but since RUclips puts an ad at every videos end, it feels strangely abrupted. 5 sec outro would do the trick.
G wizz Templars are just Awesome thanks for great show ;)
BEHOLD BROTHERS, IS MY CHAIN NOT THE HEIGHT OF CRUSADING FASHION?
It looks great, is the chain on the painted miniature the same as the one used in the video?
Indominus kit bash! I'm down!
That's how I made most of my custodes with sword and shield 🛡️ they are coming out great BTW

Nice!
Chaos destory my marines wepaon

They kinda look more chaos than templar

I know, nobody cares, and ut's your show... but I really liked your last intro better. Why did you change it so fast to the current one?
next step, paint them red and embrace khorne
Welp he looks like swiss cheese
white sholder pads... what?
Yes that is the normal way Black Templars are done. There are exceptions for Sword Brothers, chaplains, close combat, etc.
:) I’m here to
Jesus that intro scared the shit out of me
