Note Lovely to see your dad is still here. Such a beautiful area. The lotus area was amazing. It’s on my list of places to visit. Thanks 🙏🏼 for sharing. 🇹🇭
Just incredible... Who would have thought Phattalung would be that gorgeous!? So many birds, water buffalos and an endless sea of lotus flowers... Amazing drone shots at the lake btw. Another must-visit in Southern Thailand. Enjoy the sunshine. Finally 😌
What a beautiful day in Koh Samui today!! ☀️😍 There’s still so much to explore in Phatthalung we’ll have to go back when the weather is nicer and go see Thale Noi when the lotus is in full bloom 👍
Stunning imagery. As a 61 year old who needs to retire, your videos bring so much happiness of fond memories of the Land of Smiles. There's so much to see and experience in Thailand and you bring it to life for all to see on video.
My dad is from Phattalung actually in that Tale-noi area, my mom is from Songkhla. I grew up in Songkhla, So I can confirmed that Phattalung is the most real southern culture than the other. Other provinces in the south are quite mix Thai-Chinese-Muslim. The Phattalung accent is pretty hardcore. Hahaha I mean sometime I don’t understand what my dad say. BTW ไข่ปลาทอด is my fav. 😋
We really enjoyed exploring both Phatthalung and Songkhla 😍🇹🇭 Songkhla is becoming so trendy now with all the new cafes popping up. Phatthalung definitely still has that small town charm and chill vibes.
Loved it guys I know sound like a broken record but it's true your videos are awesome and have kept me and I'm sure many others that are missing Thailand . While we are going through this world pandemic . And also made me realise there is so much more of Thailand I want to see and your giving me the inspiration to do that . Thank you guys for another awesome video keep them coming ✌️✌️🥰
Always appreciate your kind comments and support, Richard! We’re glad we can inspire you and many others to explore other parts of Thailand 🇹🇭 It’s been a lot fun for us as well :)
Another fantastic video you two (or I should say you three as Note’s dad is still there and it is fantastic he is). As a fellow Canuck who has a place in Samui, always love your videos. Keep them coming.
Just gorgeous....this place reminded me a village resort I stayed once in Chiang Mai with a view of the rice padi fields as well. And hello to Dad too...and those fishing nets are similar to the ones from Kerala, India. Those in India are build with huge bamboo tubes instead of the iron.
Enjoyed the vlogg. The real Thailand is so beautiful I bet it was nice to making new blogs about new areas and iam so glad to be back in Thailand. The weather is lovely and hot
Thank you . I so enjoy you both - so charming. I never knew you could eat lotus seeds. Watched Paddy's video with the flowers all open . What a sight you must go back
What a lovely video. I enjoyed Note's exhibition on the water-resistant lotus leaf & Flora' s reaction on eating her first lotus seed!! Thank you. It's nice to see that Note's Dad is still here with you & was able to celebrate Note's 36th birthday with you guys🎂He's so funny. I can see where Note gets his sense of humor ☺All the best❤ Btw, we're now here in Samui & enjoying the first few sunny days🥰
I’m glad Note was holding the camera so the viewers didn’t have to see him spit 🤣 haha gross! It’s very nice having Note’s Dad here and he’s also an avid traveler and loves exploring with us. Enjoy the sunny day! 😎
Hi guys. I've been watching your videos for a while now but I think this is the first time I've left a comment. I just want to say I love your beautiful and informative content and your friendly and positive energy.
Thankfully my wife is from Khao Chaison a small village about an hour drive south of Phatthalung so I get to visit a lot :) there’s so many beautiful places to go around Phatthalung. Especially waterfalls etc
Hiya Flora and Note, on catch up, having a binge-watch now. Beautiful video. Gorgeous drone footage. Lovely to see your Dad. He is lovely. Great to see the fishing methods. Wow. That is a long bridge. You would definitely get your steps in for the day walking along that. Cool tunes. Good vibes. Lovely video. Lovely pictures. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week.
Thank you Nicky and Happy 2022 to you! We loved Phatthalung so much 😍 it’s such a peaceful, natural and uncrowded place to slow travel. Glad you enjoyed the video too!
My wife and I really enjoy your videos. I am very impressed with the videography and the editing. I love the music you have selected and would like to ask where you find your music. Is it a paid subscription? Keep going with your videos. I have plans to begin a channel with my wife once I retire next year. It will feature my wife and target mainly thai people as we follow in paddy's footsteps. Thanks.
Love it ! this place is so relaxing and natural.Definitely one place i will visit once everything get better. Thanks again for a super video, flora & note.
This is such a beautiful town. How are you both doing? Flo and Note you both are two sweet people and I respect you both. Much love to the both of you.
Can't believe i missed this until now, welcome to my adopted home. I tell everyone most people just blow past it coming from Surat Thai or Trang on the way to Hat Yai. You wont see too many Falang down here. If and when the new bridge gets opened between Songkhla and Khao Chaison , Phatthalung's days as on off the beaten path hidden gem will probably come to an end. Thank you for shining a light on our little slice of heaven.
Another awesome place you guys bringing us, that padi field with the coffee shop is amazing. Also the boat ride is quite refreshing with the gloomy weather, at least it’s not hot 🥵 hey those buffalo looks like a team of mafia 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such amazing views of the mountain at that rice field cafe. Next time we need to hike up to the summit where the flags are 😎🇹🇭 beautiful place, hope you get to visit Phatthalung one day!
Great vlog you two, thanks for showing us a much different side of Thailand. Definitely a few more Green flags in my Google maps, the two ladies at the snack stall were adorable but I'm not in a rush to sample the fried fish eggs judging by both your faces 😂
You’ll love it! There’s so much delicious food to explore. Many restaurants have been open for generations and their recipes are tried, tested and perfected 😉👍
The green and bitter part of lotus seed called Dee Bua in Thai. Dried Dee Bua is used in Thai traditional medicine. It cost around 500 Baht per kilogram.
This province is sooooooo greenery!!! 💖❤️🇹🇭 13:50 OH MY GOD!!! I need to do it!! 21:55 The buffaloes’ eyes are cute!😄🎊 And your dad??? Your dad is with you too? Wow!! Lovely family time.
Been to Thale Noi 3 times already: 1st I was brought there by my only Thai friend, 2nd trip I was a solo traveler, 3rd trip was a family trip we traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai. It was kinda cool during cold season the temperature near the lakeside was 16/17 degree Celcius in the morning.
This vid is still enjoyable because of Dad and you guys. Even there's one lotus, all Buffaloes are in their owners' land, gloomy weather but it's still fun to watch and follow your journey.
I've tried googling Tee Nee Phattalung Coffee but it doesn't register... I'm going to Phattalung today and really want to check that place! I'll ask at my hotel! Nice video!!😍

Note loves rice paddies.. he spent a lot of time playing in the rice fields in Isan when he was young 😆
Hahaha....just keep an eye out for snakes 🐍
😳😳 I’m super scared of snakes yikes
In Kerala, they're called "Chinese Fishing Nets" and I think you'll find smaller versions of them even in the quieter Khlongs of Bangkok.
Love that Thai music very much. Thank you for sharing! From Singapore 🇸🇬🇸🇬👋🙂👍
This looks great! I'm looking forward to come to thailand soon because of your videos, and Mark Wien's vlogs!
