To muddy the waters a bit, after the original SNES NA port, they eventually released the Final Fantasy titles that they skipped over (I believe when they released the GBA remasters). So while that series is correct for the original SNES ports, it changed back to its correct original numbering upon the GBA remaster.

6 truly had it all. Great music, Fan-FUCKING-tastic story, amazing gameplay, and the characters were A1. This was truly the best group of characters IMO.
