  • Today I share one of my craziest times Lucid Dreaming ever!
    This is the time I had 11 lucid dreams in a single night. In this video I talk about my lucid dream experience, and also share the method that caused me to have so many lucid dreams. This lucid dreaming experience actually isn't the most lucid dreams I've had in one night (since I recently beat that record of 11, with 13 dreams in one night!) but the method I used is the same as the one that got me 13 in one night just a few days/weeks later.
    Got a lucid dreaming story of your own to share? Post it down in the comments below.

You ever tried - Siyaarter Unimaginable Superiority - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to improve your lucid dreaming results minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got great results with it.

    Just as an update. To be 100% sure that it was the meditation causing these extra lucid dreams, I took a few days off my nightly meditation. Sure enough, lucid dreams stopped. I then resumed meditation, and broke the 11 dream record - had 13 lucid dreams a couple of nights ago in one night! This is definitely my new favourite indirect induction technique. :)

      Tipharot Hey man so it's been like a month since I moved from my old house to a new one and ever since my dream recall has fallen from 8 dreams with ease to 3 dreams with lot's of trouble.Is it really the change of enviroment? or is it something else? any advice on how to boost my dream recall? Please don't suggest drugs though.

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +3

      A dream journal as I suggested in my original lucid dreaming video is the way to increase dream recall. Even if you only have vague recollection of your dreams, write them down as soon as you wake up. Do that every single day without fail and your dream recall will go up.

    • @utoresa5193
      @utoresa5193 7 лет назад +1

      Tipharot I already have a dream journal.

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +1

      If you're already writing in your dream journal every morning as soon as you wake up, then try adding more detail to what you write down. While it's fine to just write a brief vague note describing what happened, if you add more clarity to it, it'll help with you having more clarity in recall the next night. Next up I suggest the method mentioned in this video, i.e. 20-30 minutes of meditation in the last hour before bed.

    I started writing down my dreams since November 2nd and it's November 20th as of today. And I have had a total of 3 level 1 lucid dreams. The bad thing is every time I realize I am lucid I wake up, not because I am excited. But over dumb stuff... one of them I levitated and fell on my face so I woke up. The 2nd it was a dream where I was inside of a dream (so dream inside a dream) and the dream inside the dream I was lucid. But when I woke up (So back to my 1rst dream) I still didn't know I was lucid XD

      Yep false awakenings (where you think you wake up but you're actually just in another dream) are pretty common. If you want to avoid those, a good trick is: When you wake up in the morning, perform some reality check immediately. Once you get into the habit of checking if you're dreaming as soon as you wake up.. you'll do the same during false awakenings, and bam, you'll know you're dreaming!

      When you sleep, your acting heart rate decreases into your resting heart rate which is typically slower, and at times when you fall asleep, your heart rate decreases too quickly. Often, when one's heart rate decreases quickly, it means you are dying, add the fact that your muscles and such are limp, your body basically panics. It sends you into a jolt as you wake because it thought you were dying and woke you up in hopes of bringing your heart rate back into your AHR (Active Heart Rate) and preventing you from death (of course you won't actually die but your body thinks it and tries to prevent that)

    I just heard about lucid dreaming and am FASCINATED! My research has brought me to your channel and I immediately began meditating and trying some of the techniques as of two days ago. So far no luck! I am having trouble remembering my dreams upon first waking, though sometimes they come back to me later in the day. I've been meditating for 20 minutes twice a day - once before bed. Unfortunately my sleep last night was awful! The first night I meditated I fell asleep with no problems and slept well. Last night though I couldn't get to sleep and I randomly woke up around 3. I tried going back to sleep and just couldn't (too bad too since I had set my alarm to try catching the REM cycle and going back to sleep)
    . Since I just started with this, I imagine it's a fluke but it's kinda funny that my sleep actually got worse after meditating xD I suspect I am just TOO excited about the possibility of lucid dreaming to fall asleep! I'm gonna keep going and hope as I continue things improve! Thanks for this channel, it's deeply interesting and I hope I can start lucid dreaming soon!

    Okay I just tried your tactic with the "I will lucid dream" tactic and it worked!! I used it for a nap and it kinda worked!!! First, I went to a different person's house and I just kinda lived everyday ordinary life. Then I had a semi dream that my Dad came in and woke me up and I got scared. So then I went to this fun house and I said to the floating head that "you're not going to be scary but you're going to be funny and it just kept laughing at me so I ignored it. Then a giant gorilla started to dance around and then got mad at me so right as he was about to grab me, I closed my eyes and woke up in a field of grass where there were ghosts of knights and creatures and then I didn't know what to do so I woke up in my own bed. It was awesome!!! I didn't have that much control over what happened but whenever I realized that I was controlling it, it would get all blurry and then I would just say to myself, "control" and "stabilize" and it worked!!! Thank you so much and I can't wait to do more tonight!! 10/10!! 😂👍

    A while back I would sometimes wake up when my parents would get ready for work. I would just stay in my bed and close my eyes. Eventually I would try to restart the dream that was interrupted, and I was able too. When I continued it I could sort of change something if I didn't like it (similar to reading a page of a choose your own adventure book, and then turning back to choose a new page because you didn't like what happened). The whole time I was aware that I was sleeping, but I didn't even think that I was lucid dreaming. It's confusing, but I still reminded myself that I had to get up for school soon and that I wanted the story to keep going. It was like a plot that never ended, but it wasn't consciously conjured by myself. Is this a lucid dream? If not, is there a term to describe what this is? Thank you.

    I think saying "just meditate" is a little vague. Of course meditation is great but if you want a meditation the would best suit lucid dreaming then do mindfulness meditation. Why? Well the whole idea of lucid dreaming is a state of mindfulness and awareness, and mindfulness meditation drastically makes you more mindful and aware of your surroundings, your thoughts, your emotions, and overall you are in the present moment more.

You have to KNOW that you can fly to be able to. I would recomment doing it slowly instead of like Superman style just slowly start floating up

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +17

      Absolutely. Have you seen the Matrix trilogy? Many of the principles from that movie apply to lucid dreaming. For example to do things in lucid dreams you have to *know* you can do it, if that makes sense. Like if you try to fly but you expect that you won't get off the ground, that's exactly what'll happen. If you expect to fly though, you'll fly. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you're able to believe that things will happen the way you want them to, you gain full control over the entire process. :)
      For some things you have to get creative. Like for example if I need an item, and it's nowhere to be seen, if it's small, I tell myself that it's going to be in my pocket, then I reach into my pocket and pull it out. If it's larger I imagine it'll be behind some door or in some nearby container that I can see. It's hard to make something appear out of thin air right in front of you, but by adding some feasibility to it like "Hey I think I had one of those in my pocket earlier", it convinces your brain, and bam the object is there.

You want to keep your mind blank and you want to get in a comfortable position. And you want to choose a destination that is not normal but that you can still think of it clearly. I personally am still having trouble with that part but I was able to control my dreams fairly well. But just remember, practice takes perfect. 😜👍

    Oversleeping kills you faster than under sleeping. Don't sleep for 12 hours please.

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +1

      I'm not particularly sure what this has to do with this video? ...But, nonetheless, I agree, don't sleep too long! 7-9 hours is going to be the sweet spot. Where you fall in that 7-9 hour range is going to depend on a range of factors like whether you exercise and need extra recovery time or not.

    Tipharot Have you found any way to make your Dreams help you to heal physical issues or mental negative atitudes, learn skills, increase creativity or memory, etc.? I know you are into the fun aspect......

      I use lucid dreaming as a way to hone my ability to visualise. As someone who uses visualisation heavily in my day to day life, I found that initially I struggled with it. I was never able to picture things clearly. So lucid dreaming was really helpful with that. I'll practice just creating different objects and scenes, so that my mind gets used to creating something out of nothing. Then when I sit down to visualise while awake, my ability to visualise clearly is significantly increased.
      I also do use it as a way to practice skills, or to face fears. For example, as someone who has always had a degree of social anxiety, if I'm expecting a particular social event that's making me a little anxious/nervous, then I'll sometimes try to actually play out the entire event in my dreams first. Makes me a lot more calm and relaxed when I'm there for real the second time around.
      Probably the way I use my lucid dreams (and regular dreams) most is just to get answers from my subconscious. While lucid dreams can be great fun, and I do enjoy flying around, visiting strange places, playing along with the stories my brain conjures - for me the single biggest appeal of lucid dreaming comes from the fact I can easily communicate with my subconscious, without having to deal in abstract metaphors and symbolism. I can ask my subconscious a straight up question, and get an answer in plain English there and then. :)

    When I was a bit younger (11 or so) I had a dream a bout pokemon. I was using a pidgey and I was battling someone, then my pidgey died and I woke up. When I woke up I thought in my head "rattata" and I fell back to sleep INSTANTLY and what do you know there was a rattata there fighting by my side. then there was 7 others. I'm not sure but I think there was weedle, mew, mew 2, and a few others I forgot. I will never forget that night :)
    PS: if your dreaming about sex then wont you get exited then wake up?
    PPS: when ever I set an alarm I wake up RIGHT as the alarm goes off. tried 4hrs 30mins and woke up right before my alarm. tried 1hr 30mins and woke up right before and same with three hours so I thought I would set my alarm to 2hrs 30mins because I was thinking it was the end of my sleep cycle but what do you know still woke up at 2hrs 25mins IT IS SOOOO ENOYING PLS SEND HELP
