Cahir has always been one of the better things about this show and a shining light within it. He had one of the few nice plotlines left in season 3. His character development has been amazing so far. For me Cahir is just a massively misunderstood brave honorable hero and didn't deserve half of the trauma, torture and abuse he has received so far. Really underrated and a great captivating commanding captain leader. The actor who portrays him is fantastic. Brilliant character. I love his chemistry with Ciri, Emhyr & Fringilla. Cahir is the most sympathetic and fascinating person in the series. Running Up That Hill is a beautiful song. Cahir was so sincere and genuine he didn't want to fight Ciri when he met her again in episode 6 it was a touching moment. His complete lack of screentime and presence in season 3 was worrying and anxiety inducing but I'm very glad they didn't ruin or wreck Cahir and made some stupid decisions in the writing department. Eamon Farren has such an incredible and a legendary take on Cahir. So much complexity and interesting aspects to his persona. All of Cahir's scenes are done so well and catch your attention. You can easily put yourself in his shoes. Thank you for this spectacular and deep meaningful tribute. Every time he's on screen you just get goosebumps because he's an epic character. One of the most memorable and best portrayals ever. I'm very moved emotionally by Eamon's performance he's so convincing and has natural good influence. Inspiring and a driven person.
I don’t think he’s misunderstood since he actually committed war crimes. I do think that, unlike many of the more cynical political players in the show, as in real life, he does believe that he is as you describe him. Or he is TRYING to be that way. I think only through the extreme circumstance of sharing Ciri’s dreams here and having her pain as a direct result of his actions has he been able to connect the dots and break away from what he’s always known. I don’t disagree about Cahir being a highlight, but I do think that most of the characters and plotlines are just as complex and interesting if you examine them as much as you do Cahir’s. But I guess I also don’t see him as secretly good this whole time either. Unless you mean he had potential to be and it’s more what he could have been and may be.
I also saw this moment in my dreams) Lovely and tender video straight to the heart, thank you❤️ What a pity that Cahir was not enough this season, oh wait again for two years. I hope there will be more meetings, not the last one😭, but many others that will remove this hatred
I can’t understand why u like a monster ? He slayed so many other only to find ciri … 😢 in the books geralt want to kill him i hope they show us this in the next season otherwise Leo Bonhart will do it !
Beautiful colours and edit, as always! only I expected the original song by Kate Bush that I've loved ever since it came out in 1985, it's so so much better
How is he "a monster"? Everything he's done in the show is justified or on orders from the emperor. He's a misunderstood hero if anything. Very underappreciated.
@@Sigurjon96 i think when ciri finds out the emperor is her father and cahir was under his orders I don’t think she will blame him anymore and place the blame on her father for her family’s death.
@@Sigurjon96 I would say he’s a monster but in a complex rather than dismissive way (which I assume this person means) lol. I mean, isn’t this show about monsters? To me, he’s done monstrous things, which makes him one. But it’s a mistake to think that he’s two dimensional because of that. Even if he were irredeemable, he would still be complex. But he’s always been very sincere even if well sometimes barbaric. And that’s part of why I don’t see him as “irredeemable” so to speak.
Read the books. Thanedd event, Korath, Brokilon etc are the content of Time of Contempt. Your answer is in Lady of the Lake, but you should read the ones in between too if you want to understand anything.
Such a wonderful edit and song! It's a pure pleasure, thank u so much🩷

@@audreyb.444 I read and I know. A terrible end for him in my opinion, so the series gives hope for a different outcome.

Lmao this show is trash. Such a huge plot hole and nothing like the books
Funny that you watch fan videos about a show that you find is trash 😂
