Continuing the bingewatch, and the campaign gets even more epic as the sudden reinforcements throws the strategic map into chaos once again. I love this system.
That was really neat. Too many times players treat mechs like toys (which they are but I digress). If you play the "fluff" the battlmechs are precious and should not be thrown away once the tide turns.
Solid AAR as always, feels way better than just showing number/dices and moving minis in silence as most of other channels do. Keep the good work Boss!
Let's go!!! I saw this pop up and was hyped all day for more Blue Hole action!! Fantastic video, great battles, awesome effects, and a dynamic story - this is everything you could want in Battletech
I was waiting for this one to drop! woooo! Glad to see a new video from ya'll, and from how the build up is going - the next one looks like it might be EPIC. Love your guys' work, keep it up! you are criminally under-rated and undersubscribed. I hope that changes for you guys soon!
I'm loving this series. Can't wait to see what the Binarys do. I'll tell you something. With my full Veteran Merc Battalion. We hot drop right in and get eye to eye with the enemy. "We ain't cheap. But we do the job. Black Horse move out." As for the Binary forces. It would be very obvious to drop them on South Azur. I think they are going to hot drop them else where. Withdraw from South Azur and continue the hit & run on the rear lines. It ain't a bad strat. But I'd hold some in reserve at all times. Ready to act as reinforcements encase how Korbyn attacks.
So excited to see a new video, it's so fun listening to not just the battle report but the tac report as well. We can't get an overarching game like this anywhere else on RUclips so it's very appreciated and enjoyable! Really good call from House Korbyn for sure, seeing those two really big lances stomp in must have put a pit in the Korbyn players stomach.
It's about time the algorithm actually showed me something I'm interested in. Edit: Just got back here through your playlist, and I'm especially enjoying the strategic head games your players are trying to pull on each other.
In our campaign the mountains are too treacherous for maneuvering. Specialized pathfinding troops I am sure could... but neither of these two micro-empires have the resources for those highly trained warriors and equipment.
The website we got the roads was from GCmini.com. They are laser cut acrylic plexiglass, so you will need to paint them up and add textures. They a lot of nice terrain bits for 6mm and 10mm scale roads.
Good 'ol cotton left over from stuffing kids' teddy bears. As for the animated smoke columns, those are VFX from Production Crate edited with Da Vinci Resolve video editing software.
I'm really digging these videos. I will say though, I'm a little confused about what we're seeing. Are these videos effectively narrative replays of games played off camera? That's about the only issue I'm having. Otherwise, this has been fantastic material
I film while the players play. They place their movement tokens, then I film myself moving their mechs for them while they try to make me laugh and knock over terrain. After the battle, I then video edit and add in the special effects for fun
@WargamerStories I dig it. It's a really clean approach to shooting the video. You've got a really good narrative happening here and I find the strategic turns highly entertaining, and this overall model is inspiring. You've got me planning to run my own campaign once we get our Mercenaries drop.
19:00 Wow. The civilians would be thankful that I wasn’t in charge of the assault because there would of been a lot of destroyed buildings to get rid of the opposition’s cover

Amazing batrep. You guys are doing terrific work!
Ok that was definitely not what I thought the next battle would be. Awesome SITREP.

Lets gooooo, new video!!
I love the drama. Great battle reports!
Hell yeah!
This campaign and these batreps are excellent, well done!
These are some of the best batreps I've seen
I've been waiting for the next installment in this amazing campaign, and it didn't disappoint. Bravo!

More to come!
I need to get some minis for this game soon. These Battle Reports are making me want to play this game! Keep up the great work!
Found your channel via a random recommendation, and gotta say I am hooked! The extra bit of gunnery makes all the difference.
Glad you enjoy it!

Another great report. Glad to see Phase II kicking off.

Getting spicy! Love these battle reports!
Great video. I really enjoy the strategic turn and how it shapes player decisions in battle.
Very good once again.
cant wait to see more!
Some nice salvage left on the battlefield.
Question came to mind while reviewing 3:39. Can jump capable mechs move the mountains?
In our campaign the mountains are too treacherous for maneuvering. Specialized pathfinding troops I am sure could... but neither of these two micro-empires have the resources for those highly trained warriors and equipment.
Loving the terrain! Where did you get the modular street?

Awesome video. How do you make those white smoke columns from downed mechs?

Are those GCMinis' highways? 2-lane,right?
Yes, they are! Good eyes! The billboards are also from GCMini!
