Thank you, I love this campaign and your play throughs. I feel sad for the Chupacabra player, the dice dont always deliver .... but taking out a Warhammer for an urbanmech isnt a bad trade.

This series is great. I am enjoying the fast paced action. I have a question regarding the vehicles though - it doesnt appear you are using the motive checks when they are hit, is there a reason for this?

I'm not sure if this attack was the smartest move. House Corbyn's reputation has been in the dumpster since they destroyed the starport in South Azure, and disrupting the services of one of the two power plants on the planet certainly won't do them any favors. I can understand why they did it from a tactical sense, but they really have to start thinking about their PR...

Are you using the alpha strike rules for dropships were they have to make a roll to see if they land or crash?

This campaign is incredible! As an avid Classic player, seeing action on this scale does show the strengths of AS. And the production values on these batreps is fantastic.

An epic fight. I would like to see the light lances be used as a flanking force in one of these battles because holding the line was pretty rough for the Chupacabras at the center of town.

The raid succeeded, but not without cost. Honestly I wonder what would have happened if the 7th Light Cavalry had opened up on the dropship's engines instead.

I love the colored bases to make it easier to distinguish which player the Mechs belong to. I get the “oh they’re facing that direction” but it’s those small details that are icing on the cake

man. imagine being some random person in one of those nearby towns. you've had a hard day of work, you're ready to sit back and relax and watch your favorite show... and then... rolling brown outs. damn mechs....

A really great battle report - lots going on, and the quality just keeps improving every time. Lots of neat stuff involving objectives, tactical movement, and all the rest. Really engaging, I love it! I look forward to these a lot, and they're always worth that wait. Just one criticism -- seriously, the Jenner standing still in the woods for 3 turns? Somebody slap that pilot, he should be doing a little shuffle around in those woods, enough to get a TMM. Good grief! Also, that poor red Warhammer, he never had a chance once the bugle sounded :(

Sooooo EPIC! The dropship up/down strategy is an old tactic used by many generals to make their forces appear larger than they are (marching over a bridge multiple times for example), and harrassment is a no-brainer for a weaker, more mobile force. Loving seeing these strategies play out in Battletech.
