#suggestion I think the cards Hisoka puts are hints at the spiders his going to kill, its 5 cards of 3 and 2 aces, since he already killed 2 spiders, I think he will probably kill another one along the leader, then either die or lose interest in the spiders after killing the leader. probably Machi number 3 will be important two.
The way the scene was set up heavily implies otherwise, but i think that turning to the owl may not be his greatest idea (hisoka knows the owl and killing him will make the cloth abilty vanish from chrollo's book) so he may attack him just for the fun of it
@@nothanksthoughI think they mean that Hisoka will attack Bonolenov thinking that he’s killing the Owl. Togashi has mentioned that he targeted Shalnark and Kortopi in order to reduce Chrollo’s options, so Owl isn’t a great disguise for Bono.
This one mistake could ruin everything certain characters still think bonolenov is hisoka if he dies hisoka can pretend to be bonolenov and set a trap for the other phantom trope members
its great he came back ... what a generational talent he is ... maybe all time talent not just mere generational ... I still crave knowledge about dark continent... He built such world that after all this time it still mystery to us. More than Big 3 - Bleach , Naruto and One Piece. In fact coming from hiatus kinda added even a lot of myster for his work.
@@Mario-kf3ej I'd argue that the world of Bleach is still quite unexplored and remains mysterious (obviously not on the level of Hunter x Hunter). There's even a sequel series set in another part of Soul Society, not to mention the existence of Hell.
Man has a type and is old fashioned believing a fight should be one on one. We could learn something from him specifically that his bungee gum has the properties of rubber and gum
this is an insanely dense arc issac netero and the dark continent stuff the succession war and fourth prince tserriednich drama and the mafia families hisoka and the Phantom Troupe shenanigans all happening all at once it's amazing just how many high stakes events Togashi managed to stuff into one arc
This, in my opinion, is the best chapter since hisoka vs. chrollo. The amount of WTF's in this chapter is insane adding to that there's no fight yet. WTF. In Truly togashi class
This is rapidly becoming my favorite arc so far. Well paced, intense drama, many different point of views, different "battlefields", different motives. What saddens me is the nobunaga might die soon in my opinion. And the possibility of Chrollo and other members not knowing how other members have died or are dead.
I swear people complaining about no fights but this is built like a political battle on top of an underground war with multiple powerful people not apart of either involved with intense grudges. Everything is a battle atp
I’m such a depressed adult and life moves so fast that these chapters are just flying out it feels like hxh returned last week but everytime I look up there’s a new chapter out lol
This chapter will be pretty popular. It has relatively little text for HxH standards, so it’s easy to read and it’s mostly about Hisoka and the Troupe. Togashi was even willing to give Hisoka some peace by saying fighting the ants wouldn’t have done anything so satisfy his kink anyway. 😂 Benolenov got the most shine in this chapter. People were speculating that he isn’t even that strong, but one punching Linch and being that useful puts him on the level of the others for me.
@@SolidSnake240 I think it is a power creep problem. They are introduced relatively early so as new characters are introduced it is easy to forget their stated strength. Usually in shonen the later characters are introduced the stronger they are.
@@Zerbaxa599 .... and they're skills are rather: simple 🤷🤦 (probabily to teach the espectator about Nen in York Shin Arc). Look at Rinhigh (bio Hazard) or Liham (predator) habilities. But yeah, the Ryoudan are TOP Lvl, way better than an average Nen User, because inteligence/strategy plays a great role in this manga and not only a "my skill is better" cenario 😂.
Bon's strength (as measured by arm wrestling) was actually rated as 8th among the members, which is about in the middle. Nobunaga (swordsman using shu), Shalnark (manipulator), and the specialists of the group: Shizuku, Pakunoda, and Koltopi were lower. Right above him in strength is Chrollo. So I'm not sure why people ever thought he was going to be weak. Chrollo got into fisticuffs with _the goddamn Zoldyck patriarchs_ and Bon is only just weaker than he is. A scrub like Linch is three levels too weak to be a challenge to him, even if his transformation ability uses most of his strength as a trade-off.
May be mid difficulty for nobu, phinks and fei, of course that's just assuming, we don't know every single contagion ability yet, but ill be dawned if we don't finally get to see nobunagas hatsu
Imagine Togashi tricked us into thinking these Heil-ly guys are nen gods and are very dangerous, only for the spiders to obliterate them in a few panels, just to remind us of how strong the Phantom Troupe is lol I wouldn't be surprised
@omaisgee123 i mean, it's one thing we usually expect from HXH either hisoka or the spiders just easily defeating their enemies, basically the deus ex machina of HXH
I like it when a theory is not completely wrong but also not completely right, togashi is it always surprises (because the theory I heard was that crhollo was hisoka not bonolenov)
I have read somewhere on reddit or some website or maybe even RUclips that maybe chrollo asked bonolenov to disguise as hisoka but never did I thought that bonolenov would find hisoka and vice-versa. But I am not disappointed tho !!!! I was rather quite happy to see Hisoka again !!!
I know we haven’t got to the DC arc yet but this is hands down my fav arc of any manga or anime series already, the amount of characters involved both the old and new makes it so interesting and unpredictable, Togashi is amazing man
@dotmaniac7449 It’s pretty funny to think about the decades of preparation Beyond made to travel to the dark continent just for the ship to implode on itself from all the bullshit going on.
Who gave Hisoka the info about the Princes and nen beasts? Wang talks about a Joker. Hisoka might already be in contact with Morena. She might have gotten him to Tier 1 as a worker for her own plans of tearing down Kakin society. As a type of contractor for her. The person Morena is looking for might be the Vice Boss of the Char-r. If she has Kenny in her pocket, then getting the other boss would make it easier for her to have complete control over the majority of the ship with exception to tier 1. Hisoka might be planted in tier 1 by Morena to assure that she always has the ability to act in Tier 1 or even to just allow her to have access to the Tier. If this is all true then just getting that other boss would actually help her to ignite the “beginning of the end”. Just a theory. I’m almost 100% positive I’m wrong, but I’m still so excited for the next chapter.
You peaked with "Beyond Netorare in Cuckin' Kingdom." Whenever I hear your voice and see your face, those *exquisite* combination of words echo in my mind over and over and over again. Stand proud, my beautiful man. I hope that in your deathbed, far into the future, you'll look back into this moment, and think to yourself, as your life flashes before your eyes, "I burned the words 'Beyond Netorare in the Cuckin' Kingdom' into thousands of people's brains." and then promptly expire feeling fulfilled about your life. I'm awaiting the next time you exceed your current peak. For me, "Melodussy" wasn't quite enough, but it was really good. Squicky as it is, it doesn't quite have the wonderful nuance of "Beyond Netorare in Cuckin Kingdom"
Hear me out..... What if Togashi really intended that name to be a pun on "Beyond NTR". I can imagine what he did to all those women, 1 Kakin Queen included.
Forgive my noob, but you're saying the entire current generation of the NTR is a result of Beyond? Age math, Nen skill math and Netero being Netero'(meaning either ignoring and/or encouraging), this entire generation of children are all actually the children of Beyond? I mean.. some of the clues are there. I'm listening.
@@paolopasaol9700 @paolopasaol9700 Nice Hat! Gotta get me one of those with a feather. I remember baby making skill from the GI arc, but I forget if the child swapping/doppelganger ability was a Dark Contentent or nen skill. I personally wear my poor man's tin for the "Beyond has definitely been to DC at least once" before Netero grounded him and put the guild ban on him, meaning his death.
Thinking about it, what Killua said to Gon during the Chimera ant arc is pretty somber in retrospect. Back then, we all saw the "Sometimes your light is so bright I have to turn away" as being about how positive he was, refusing to believe Kite could be dead and set on finding and rescuing him at all costs. But in retrospect, it's Killua acknowledging how destructive Gon is to the both of them, and that he will have to turn away from said destructive light. It's not something I thought about until the boys went on their seperate ways after the Nanika arc, but Killua may very well have already realised it, considering how it was Gon's destructive attitude and stubbornness that got Killua's hands almost permanently injured during Greed Island. Knowing what Killua saw of Pitou and how he had to knock Gon out to stop him from entering into a fight with a being strong enough to rip Kite into pieces in front of them. Still wanting to rush ahead and return there. I think the reason he had go on his way away from Gon is twofold, considering that he saw Gon willing to destroy himself entirely to get revenge, himself got dragged into the Chimera ant conflict because he couldn't leave Gon behind on his own, had to fight ants on his own because Gon made himself a target on his date with Palm, was basically alone on the ant mission relying on his speed to try and avoid dangers and having to do it while Pouf was spreading himself over the entire battlefield, was the one who had to take Komugi basically hostage as she herself preferred staying with the ants; with what Gon was willing to do, and he himself being left to mourn his slowly dying husk in the hospital, continuing to follow Gon in his adventures after he is healed would have hurt him constantly, both physically from the situations Gon would drag him into and emotionally from seeing someone he cares so deeply about self-destruct at every given opportunity(Getting himself into an encounter with Hisoka at the arena to punch him and fulfill his wish from the hunter exam despite being a blip on the clown's radar in terms of power, making himself bait for the phantom troupe, getting himself into Greed Island and almost losing both hands to Genthru's bombs when he kept pushing forward while the bomber seemed genuinely hesitant to use his ability and trying to get him to give up, rushing into NGL again, sacrificing himself to beat Pitou). The second reason is Alluka, and how Killua wants to give her some semblance of an actual life after she spent her entire existence being locked away and treated like a science experiment while they try to figure out her rules. If he keeps going with Gon, he will be including her in that path of destruction. Gon's light is definitely a light, he has good intentions, but he is also inherently selfish to a level rivaling Ging and even Isaac Netero. The fact that his biggest concern after he is returning to a normal life isn't what everyone is doing and where they are, seemingly oblivious to the war two of his friends are now part of, but to ask Ging how he can get his nen back speaks volumes to that selfishness. Mito is another person he always hurts through it, as he basically abandoned her the same way Ging did to follow in his footsteps after she raised him, something she did after Gon himself was abandoned in much the same way. People have often compared Ging and Pariston to Gon and Killua, but I would honestly say Pariston seems to be Ging's Hisoka more than he is his Killua. I think Ging himself forced away whoever that would have been through his actions in much the same way Gon did Killua. The story is very focused on how characters are shaped by and deal with the pain they feel. Gon chose to repeat the actions of his father, the abandonment by whom is very clearly something which still haunts him considering how he still has attachment issues to surrogate figures in his life, like refusing to believe Kite is gone even when faced with a stitched up zombified corpse. He himself is willing to trample those who care for him deeply, like Mito and Killua, to chase the distant possibility of this hero he imagines Ging as. Killua is choosing to change and not repeat the mistakes of his family, which has lead him to run away with Alluka in order to give the both of them a chance at a somewhat normal and positive existence, though in many ways he is also running from his problems, as replacing a butler with a shapeshifter to hide the details of his escape would indicate. Kurapika has let the pain of his clan's death simmer and is now boiling with a deep and constant anger, choosing to not only stoop to the level of those who hurt him but potentially go lower and even give his life to hurt them in return. I think Leorio has been intentionally left out as the odd man out to ground the group and give them a solid ground to stand on, considerint that, despite his seeming incompetence, he was a key player in all of the important events in the story(stood and challenged Hisoka in the exam despite knowing he would lose leading to the clown's fascination with and continued involvement with the group, which directly contributed to Kurapika being able to link up with him and work together against the troupe in York New, during which Leorio was also a very important plan during the nabbing in the dark which ultimately resolved the conflict down the line, he skewed the election and turned public opinion against Ging, he got Kurapika involved in the Kakin conflict after recommending him for the rat position when he was made he boar, he is now probably going to be involved with Halkenberg's funeral as part of the medical staff that were treating him.)
Finally we see the Troupe members being actual threats now 😭 We compare them to the Royal Guards and the Zodiacs but forget that each one of them are already better than 99% of nen users.
There's no comparison to the Royal Guards. Don't get it twisted. The Royal Guards were technically more powerful than Netero. Go back to the Chimera Ant Arc and read or watch it again. Your memory isn't as good as you think. And pay attention to the dialogue this time.
@@wadewilson8011nen battle is not defined by who’s aura is stronger, it’s decided by using abilities to to counter your opponent and checkmate them first. Royal guards still has no experience with nen
Ya, I think Wang is definitely working with Morena, lol Not only because of the way he acted in this chapter but I was rereading some past chapters & this would also explain why he smiled at that corrupt military guy that was trying to sell the location of the Hal-ly base awhile back. I think his exact words as he smiled were something like "don't worry, we'll kill them all", after the military guy said he wouldn't feel comfortable unless all the Hal-ly members were killed. So I'm pretty sure Wang meant he & the Hal-ly were going to kill everybody, not just him 😅
With each chapter, I can feel the tension rising and I can easily see things get messy (-ier) soon. This is one of these situations where no plan will go according to plan.
He's also insanely lucky, and I wonder if that's an unspoken part of his nen abilities. Sure poker-with-extra-decks can be won through bluffing and charisma, but just hitting a Triple 7 on a slot machine is pure luck. As established through the Risky Dice in Greed Island, luck through probability can be manipulated by nen. Maybe that's how Hisoka always seems to come out on top even in the face of very unlikely circumstances.
Sometimes I forget that Hisoka is a licensed Hunter and has every right to do basically whatever he wants if he doesn't get caught as long as he's on a job.
Could Hisoka's backstory actually be more connected to the troupe than we think? We have basically no idea where he came from. The officially endorsed Sui Ishida origin manga already has him out and about doing what he does, even implies he intentionally had himself found by the circus to learn nen or some other reason. We get some information that his mother may have been important in this whole thing as he does mention her. Hisoka, as much of a murder clown he is, often lies by omission rather than deception, the only people he really went out of his way to bamboozle were the troupe. Another detail is his weird connection to Machi. By all means she shouldn't be interesting to him, yet she is. Despite taking an interest in her the same way he does with the troupe, he specifically goes out of his way to spare her. He seems to treat her with the same "gentle" approach he does Gon, but without any inclanation of doing it to develop her potential for him to play with later as he does him. The embalmer from Meteor city might be the point of convergence here. We haven't been told what her ability does, but Sarasa's body was reassembled and looked lifelike. Machi, from training under her, got her strings she can use to reassemble things, but the wounds and scars still remain even when she does. What is the first thing we see when her and Hisoka interact for the first time after his fight with Castro? She reattaches his arms with her strings, and he recreates a perfect skin texture with his sheet of paper. Could Hisoka be the other half of the "embalmimg" ability? Another student or even potentially the son of the embalmer? The anime ommited the part where Hisoka bit a chunk off of his arm to scare Castro, for which Machi scolds him as she is now missing a piece she needed to reattach and it won't heal properly. With what we know happened to Sarasa, the second half of the embalming ability should be able to cover a wound like that, which texture surprise does. And in that same origin manga Hisoka was hunting down a serial killer who prayed on the weak, which would be fitting of a troupe member, even if he did it for his own murder clown reasons.
Togashi’s ability to portray real life political tendencies is masterful! The ploys, fakes, manipulations, etc… also Im very happy that the troupe got to that sick bastrrd who kklled Saratza. The guy was posing as a good guy too! Shows how many ‘good’ people are really sick people who do horrible people!
I can't be the only one who feels like the troupe might be falling apart, right? They split up and are all over the lower levels. Franklin ditched everyone and is just bumming around the cafeteria chatting with the mafia every now and again. Chrollo, the head of the spider whose strongest trait so far has been his leadership and planning, being the one who calls the troupe back together and makes 4d complicated plans all the time to both keep them together and get an end benifiting them all, has essentially told them to split up and do as they please while he charges forward in a blind rage. The beggist evidence to this that we have is his interaction with Bonolenov about Metamorphosen. Bono, revealing an ability he had kept to himself to Chrollo, telling him the details of how it works, was essentially offering it up to Chrollo for the book, but Chrollo, instead of taking the chance to execute a complicated plan to get back at Hisoka, sends him out as a fake Hisoka to get them the chance of reaching Hisoka as fast as possible in case he is in the top levels, which has now put Bono in the line of fire as Hisoka almost certainly noticed him with that line about playing with himself. The panel with Chrollo walking by the screens is also important, as Shizuku isn't with him and wasn't with Bono, and her fortune was to die if she is seperated from the group. Nobunaga is shaping up to possibly be his successor with how good his leadership is proving and how he is also filling the role of strategist for the others now that Chrollo is blind with rage. Nobunaga and Phinks in general seem to be actually good guys deep down and are certainly the most respectable of the troupe along wiht Bono. Feitan is a sadistic psycho, but seems genuinely commited to whatever Phinks and Nobu are doing and I have no doubt would stick with them if the group fell apart. Bono himself seems to have had his own agenda, considering he hid an ability from Chrollo, THE leader of the troupe. Kalluto and Illumi got arrested together and, considering the two of them are with the troupe on very conditional basis, might just be returning to the Zoldycks after this, Illumi may have even outright lied about his reasons to be there and may be on a retrieval mission for his bro, like he was always doing with Killua. We haven't seen much of Machi, but she is now on her own agenda against Hisoka after he humiliated and violated her with that sticky gum hug after he revived. I'm starting to think Chrollo's anger is going to be what breaks them as he looses sight of planning and unity. We even have some of the others seemingly recognising it with what internal monologs about the numbers he refuses to replace.
"I don't mind playing with myself" was a bit of an eye-opener once I realised what I was looking at and the realisation that Bonolenov was impersonating Hisoka the entire time. (RIP the mind reader girl btw)
Man, I miss owl. That guy had so much potential as a character, but the beasts had to be pushed to the background or the arc would have dragged on too long. Still, the lazy-eyed stoner looking guy with randomly one of the strongest abilities in the series just popping up was cool, and his brief interactions with the troupe before the torture really leaned into some slapstick and were pretty funny, especially in the anime. How the gross looking guys Uvo ripped up got more screen time is beyond me.
0:59 Alternatively, Random Dude: How can we be sure this is actually Hisoka? Hisoka: Bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum Dude: *calls Chrollo
A good poriton of uvos fight with kurapika is uvo trying to figure out his affinity, so havign an ability that lets you know someones affinity is is pretty strong.
I feel like if we get to the Dark Continent and see that arc, then we’re gonna have to have an entirely new cast of characters or a lot of the body guards are going to become bigger characters because I think that a lot of the side characters that we’ve grown accustomed to throughout all of HxH are going to die lol
@@mdc7081 maybe, I have some ways that I think this arc could go, but Togashi is the king of giving random side characters that we knew nothing about or didn’t care about shine like Welfin in the Chimera Ant arc. With how many bodyguards there are, Togashi could make any one of them important.
I don’t think so, the DC is a battle of survival with nature that has no winners. I feel like the current cast on the boat are already perfectly introduced as the potential survivors, so we’re just gonna see more of them being the “main” characters. The “new” cast are Beyond’s crew & the Zodiacs, since we haven’t seen much of them. For a truly new character to appear it’ll probably be the calamities that is Meruem-like (maybe Brion) or Don Freecss.
*The ability Chrollo wants is most likely Cat's Name* The ability needs to: • 1. have developed before the succession war • 2. belong to someone that Chrollo could reasonably know the ability of • 3. belong to someone Chrollo knows is on the ship • 4. belong to someone Chrollo thinks hes capable of stealing from • 5. be able to kill/trap Hisoka (implying an insta-win condtition is needed) The only characters whose abilities (we know of) fit all these are: • Camilla (point 2 is contentious) • Kurapika (point 3 and ESPECIALLY 4 are contenious) • Benjamin (point 2 and 5 are contentious) • Mizaistom (point 3 is contentious) • Melody (point 3 is contentious) And out of these I see Camilla's as the one most capable of getting the job done (Benjamin Baton would just be a worse skill hunter, so doubtful Kurapika is not losing any of his abilities The rest dont actually kill, they just render Hisoka extremely vulnerable, and I dont think Chrollo is taking that kind of chance)
@@nicknack124 honestly, cats name makes sense, by stealing it, chrollo may very well die, but will kill hisoka as well, and for good for what we saw first hand, it also has the incredibly handy power up of post mortem nen, which means chrollo will get even stronger after all is said and done
What about Keni Wang's smile ability? Makes way more sense for Chrolo to be aware of someones power if they are a criminal than a prince, granted its not confirmed that it even is a nen ability but it seems likely.
This has truly been one of the best chapters I've read on any media so far. The way Togashi builds tension, surprises you on every corner and always sets the expectation for more is truly remarkable.
I've somewhat predicted Bonolenov's death when I learned of his ability of Metamorphen. When I think back on Shizuku's fortune from Yorknew, I thought to myself, is Bonolenov going to turn into Shizuku at some point? Then being alone in the darkness, the part from the fortune, seems to be the inevitability that's going to happen to Bonolenov. ... Damn, I liked Yummy Mummy, he squished the bug that killed Ponzu.
Chrollo's ( who it seems to be based on the page layout ) thoughts regarding Mr Lisnorth has me curious. Based on the news report, if he is dead, that means the troupe found him before the series even began. If that's the case, why continue to operate as the Troupe? I wonder if that death was a fakeout and they've finally closed in on him and his associates in the Kakin empire.
We've seen a nen ability that could permakill Hisoka. I think the page Chrollo wants is Second Prince Camilla's Cat's Name. His plan it to get her page, let Hisoka kill him, trigger Cat's Name to permanently sacrifice Hisoka, and then it will be *Chrollo* running around with a Nen Zombie power boost.
This is the best & most perfect arc. It could go on forever & id still be interested. Togashi can go in any direction he wants from chapter to chapter 😭🙌🏽
Just want to say you’ve been a HUGE inspiration, thank you for being so consistent & putting out quality content. 12 months from now I hope to be in a position where I can begin to carve out the slightest little corner in this niche.
My first thoughts on why they left #9 vacant and Chrollo's "page" is that it's an ability that takes over the mind. Chrollo will take Hisoka's mind and make him the #9 spot in the troupe
I know this is unpopular af but i would love a ending where Hisoka gets to kill a big portion of the entire character roster and just offs into the new continent for new toys haha
Could you try to have less spoilery titles and thumbnails? The chapter comes out tomorrow morning anyways and we can’t stop you from appearing in our recommended section so it kinda sucks knowing what’s about to appear in the newest chapter just because of one RUclipsr
My theory about HxH is: We will discover that the person responsible, the mastermind, for the death that gave rise to the spider was the 4th prince. Kurapika will see that it won't be possible to kill the prince alone and while the rest of the troupe deals with Hisoka he will have to ally himself with the head of the troupe to defeat the 4th prince. After recovering his eyes, he still can't forgive the ghost troupe and clashes with its members, which leads to his death. In the end, it will be the end of the troupe, the end of kurapika, and the end of the 4th prince. The only one left alive will be Hisoka. Before he dies, the leader of the troupe will be able to answer the question: who am I? Kurapika will be able to give up part of his thirst for revenge and ally himself with the troupe, and Hisoka will no longer be a villain with only a thirst for blood. A tragic ending but with many lessons and a sense of justice (symbolic for Kurapika and his fans) for the death of the monstrous 4th prince. I think it will be possible to make a comparative analysis with WW2, in which the 4th prince is clearly a N4z1 and enemies need to unite to defeat him, as happened between the USA and the USSR
i have a feeling that all these overarching conflicts are to strengthen all surviving passengers of the ship when they eventually reach the true danger… the dark continent
My guess is that they’re aiming for Prince Tyson, the probably weakest member currently aside from Fugetsu but she has competent guards, while not being out since she’s in critical condition, in a very guarded room and the same for prince Marayam who has an overprotective mother and guards. And Tyson being the kind naive sympathetic sister would probably be the only one willing to go to Halkenburg’s funeral unless Togashi Surprises us and has Tserriednich make an appearance.
I'm sure you have thought of this but bolenov could mimic gon and or killua as he has spent time with both of them previously and use that to attract hisoka. I could see this as something that comes up to 'mix' things up a bit. Unsure really why this would happen but it is available and it is a way for togashi to bring back our favorite boys, even if for a moment.
@@josiahlikestodance I just feel like if he was in allegiance with morena, than he’d have to have been a plant way before she came to power which seems to unrealistic
My interpretation of what hisoka meant about his preference in fight partners is that he likes testing himself against another individual so he prefers fighting someone responsible for their own nen so no joint types or hatsu’s facilitated by someone else ie the Kakin ritual pot. I doubt he would mind someone like knuckle bine fighting him with his nen beast thingy since it’s an extension of a person I don’t think he’ll see it as an animal that won’t fulfill his satisfaction of competing with another person he’d just think of it like chrollos clones or even his own bungee gum.
Man, we need a mind map or something. Thats a lot stuff going on. :D Who works for who , who may betray. Hxh feels like irl politics with so much characters.
What troubled me of the chapter is what Chrollo is seeking... Because while there are tons of nen ability that we know in the ship currently. Most of them are fresh awakened abilities so logically Chrollo cannot have any clue of their existence. The only true ability that is not a fresh ability, that potentially can be known and can be considered a perfect counter for hisoka (well for everyone actually) is predator (possibly also Camilla's abilty but it's a bit too much assume Chrollo can even have the chance to steal Camilla's ability
Hisoka is so much like Netero. The dark continent would be a nightmare for him. Also was Killua and Gon with Benolenov? Could he become Gon just to provoke Hisoka?
@@houssam19941 and bonolenov thinks that the shorter the person equates to the shorter span of him copying that person. copying a person hisoka knew is a big NO NO.

Yeah this shit getting deeeeeep..... No way this arc finishing in 30 chapters. Maybe this a huge double arc one leading into the next. I just don't know what to think anymore anything can happen either really detailed or abruptly and intense.
For me, the Ryodan had their reasons for becoming what they are and seeking revenge, but I think that what they did to the Kurta clan was simply to get closer to those who wanted revenge. I don't think that a clan so closed to the outside world had anything to do with it, simply because their eyes were valuable to some high command to which the ryodan wanted to get closer. That's why Uvogin, who was super affected by that death, didn't even remember the Kurta clan, they just massacred them for the greater good so to speak. Kurapika will have to kill the prícnidipe Tserriednich on purpose this time, since he didn't even want to kill Crollo or the spider people directly. Let's remember that he only gave them the binding chain, that is the only one that cannot be used with someone from outside the spider, like tserriednich. He will have to kill him by purely and mean punches. We know that Hisoka is not interested in princes or their nen beasts, so he will be in charge of helping him with the spider.
This was an amazing Chapter, still vanilla would not be my choice to describe the perverted murder clown. ^^ About the Hei'li and phantom troupe similarities: I think the Hei'li with their goal to "destroy everything" are very similar to the early phantom troupe. I'm not entirely sure if they will really end up as enemies or maybe team up at some point. The modern troupe definitely doesn't have that thinking anymore but they may end up having sympathy for hei'li.
It's completely possible that Hisoka has already killed Owl, in order to limit the abilities Chrollo can use against him. In which case Bonolenov's strategy may have instantly put a target on his back (provided Hisoka hasn't already noticed him). Hisoka is also definitely working with a Prince, as him having the information on the exact mechanism behind Halkenburg's ability is not information he would be able to gain any other way, and considering the Prince he's working with knows about Halkneburg's ability, it's likely one of the higher ranked Princes. So much fascinating stuff to unpick from just one chapter.

@Bulletproof208 there's no way owl is on the boat to be killed

This chapter will be pretty popular. It has relatively little text for HxH standards, so it’s easy to read and it’s mostly about Hisoka and the Troupe.
Togashi was even willing to give Hisoka some peace by saying fighting the ants wouldn’t have done anything so satisfy his kink anyway. 😂
Benolenov got the most shine in this chapter. People were speculating that he isn’t even that strong, but one punching Linch and being that useful puts him on the level of the others for me.
I mean wasnt it stated in the story that the PT are among some of the best nen users? Idk why people underestimate them so much
@@SolidSnake240 I think it is a power creep problem.
Chrollo and Hisoka, the goats are at it again, its a shame if spider members die versus morena, they seem to be being set up for something devious.

I don’t believe the Dark Continent will be reached anytime soon

Not only because of the way he acted in this chapter but I was rereading some past chapters & this would also explain why he smiled at that corrupt military guy that was trying to sell the location of the Hal-ly base awhile back.
This shits definitely gonna get animated at some point Togashi's on an absolute creative spree
Morena is slowly paving her way to become one of the greatest antagonists in HxH and we haven't seen much of her yet.
Sometimes I forget that Hisoka is a licensed Hunter and has every right to do basically whatever he wants if he doesn't get caught as long as he's on a job.
I like how Hisoka touched back up on the idea of why he wasn’t present during the Chimera Ant arc. Just didn’t move him enough lol
This is also showing us that Hisoka won’t be in the DC arc. He is not interested in that
@ yeah this is unfortunately true smh
Its very rare too see an anime that combine multiple conflict and converge them eventually along the lines. Not many mangaka can do that
I can't be the only one who feels like the troupe might be falling apart, right?

I feel like if we get to the Dark Continent and see that arc, then we’re gonna have to have an entirely new cast of characters or a lot of the body guards are going to become bigger characters because I think that a lot of the side characters that we’ve grown accustomed to throughout all of HxH are going to die lol
Body guards won't survive, even the ship won't reach the Dark Continent.
We need to get first to the fake dark continent, oh my god give togashi the strength to finish this,
Yeah, there are a lot of characters in this arc but most of them will probably die in the Black Whale while the rest will die on the Dark Continent
Hisoka doesn't do what Hisoka does for Hisoka. Hisoka does what Hisoka does because he'sHisoka.
*The ability Chrollo wants is most likely Cat's Name*
The ability needs to:
• 1. have developed before the succession war
• 2. belong to someone that Chrollo could reasonably know the ability of
• 3. belong to someone Chrollo knows is on the ship
• 4. belong to someone Chrollo thinks hes capable of stealing from
• 5. be able to kill/trap Hisoka (implying an insta-win condtition is needed)
The only characters whose abilities (we know of) fit all these are:
• Camilla (point 2 is contentious)
• Kurapika (point 3 and ESPECIALLY 4 are contenious)
• Benjamin (point 2 and 5 are contentious)
• Mizaistom (point 3 is contentious)
• Melody (point 3 is contentious)
And out of these I see Camilla's as the one most capable of getting the job done
(Benjamin Baton would just be a worse skill hunter, so doubtful
Kurapika is not losing any of his abilities
The rest dont actually kill, they just render Hisoka extremely vulnerable, and I dont think Chrollo is taking that kind of chance)
Chrollo interacting with Cammy to steal cats name and inadvertently activating her nen beast is peak fiction
Interesting… I’ve been wracking my brain on this, but this is a good choice. We will see
@@nicknack124 honestly, cats name makes sense, by stealing it, chrollo may very well die, but will kill hisoka as well, and for good for what we saw first hand, it also has the incredibly handy power up of post mortem nen, which means chrollo will get even stronger after all is said and done
What about Keni Wang's smile ability? Makes way more sense for Chrolo to be aware of someones power if they are a criminal than a prince, granted its not confirmed that it even is a nen ability but it seems likely.
Just read this in another comment and thought id add it here, basho could be a good pick. Only point 3 on your criteria is uncertain.

The illustrator was on something this time… and I’m absolutely here for it.
These updates have been amazing
Chrollo's ( who it seems to be based on the page layout ) thoughts regarding Mr Lisnorth has me curious. Based on the news report, if he is dead, that means the troupe found him before the series even began. If that's the case, why continue to operate as the Troupe? I wonder if that death was a fakeout and they've finally closed in on him and his associates in the Kakin empire.
I really enjoyed how the whole Sarasa's context was presented. Togashi is a master of storytelling
We got Hisoka Character Development before gta 6 😭
This is the best & most perfect arc. It could go on forever & id still be interested. Togashi can go in any direction he wants from chapter to chapter 😭🙌🏽
17:25 very funny
Imagine how insane it would be if Chrollo picked up Basho's ability.
Chrollo will take Hisoka's mind and make him the #9 spot in the troupe
phantom group = hisoka = illumi they are same level
power balancing in hxh is god
no one can tell you who dead next scene
I know this is unpopular af but i would love a ending where Hisoka gets to kill a big portion of the entire character roster and just offs into the new continent for new toys haha
ahh Togashi is planning to have Hisoka get so bored and pent up that he finds Gon again and holds a radio playing Eye of the Tiger in the rain!
I did not have Hisoka going "Hmm yes, I guess I'm pretty basic when it comes to my sexual fight battling." on the board today. 🤣
Could you try to have less spoilery titles and thumbnails? The chapter comes out tomorrow morning anyways and we can’t stop you from appearing in our recommended section so it kinda sucks knowing what’s about to appear in the newest chapter just because of one RUclipsr
Halkenburgs Funeral may blow up into providing Benjamin with a reason for Martial Law
Best chapter for me by far , cant remember the last time i enjoyed a chap this much.
My theory about HxH is:
We will discover that the person responsible, the mastermind, for the death that gave rise to the spider was the 4th prince.
Hisoka is a heavens arena floor master , they get preference
i have a feeling that all these overarching conflicts are to strengthen all surviving passengers of the ship when they eventually reach the true danger… the dark continent
Interesting thought !🤔
Only Zodiacs and Beyond will go to the DC. Kakin citizens will stay on fake DC
You got a lot of videos to make 😆 great stuff, HXH going crazy. We eating gooood ❤
Feitan having a shocked face lets you know how messed up whatever they’re seeing is
I'm sure you have thought of this but bolenov could mimic gon and or killua as he has spent time with both of them previously and use that to attract hisoka. I could see this as something that comes up to 'mix' things up a bit. Unsure really why this would happen but it is available and it is a way for togashi to bring back our favorite boys, even if for a moment.
Maybe it’s just me, but I interpreted Kenny Wang’s dialogue as him taunting Morena rather that her time is soon over, not that he’s worried about her
It’s so vague though. I could see both interpretations. Togashi’s edging that suspense
Maybe his Nen condition + his Freak smile 😅 🙃🫠
@@josiahlikestodance I just feel like if he was in allegiance with morena, than he’d have to have been a plant way before she came to power which seems to unrealistic
Not showing his mouth is intentional.
Truly one of the best RUclips channels right here
My interpretation of what hisoka meant about his preference in fight partners is that he likes testing himself against another individual so he prefers fighting someone responsible for their own nen so no joint types or hatsu’s facilitated by someone else ie the Kakin ritual pot. I doubt he would mind someone like knuckle bine fighting him with his nen beast thingy since it’s an extension of a person I don’t think he’ll see it as an animal that won’t fulfill his satisfaction of competing with another person he’d just think of it like chrollos clones or even his own bungee gum.
What a time to be alive. Togashi redeems the 2020s of all the bullshit thats going on. I am so happy
Man, we need a mind map or something. Thats a lot stuff going on. :D Who works for who , who may betray. Hxh feels like irl politics with so much characters.
We need a mind map or maybe a phd devoted to this arc 😂
What troubled me of the chapter is what Chrollo is seeking... Because while there are tons of nen ability that we know in the ship currently. Most of them are fresh awakened abilities so logically Chrollo cannot have any clue of their existence.
The only true ability that is not a fresh ability, that potentially can be known and can be considered a perfect counter for hisoka (well for everyone actually) is predator (possibly also Camilla's abilty but it's a bit too much assume Chrollo can even have the chance to steal Camilla's ability
17k views in 1hr.. this man is single handedly keeping the hxh fandom alive
Hisoka is so much like Netero. The dark continent would be a nightmare for him. Also was Killua and Gon with Benolenov? Could he become Gon just to provoke Hisoka?
He doesn't want hisoka to notice him let alone to provoke him besides benolenov didn't spend much time with gon anyway
@@houssam19941 and bonolenov thinks that the shorter the person equates to the shorter span of him copying that person. copying a person hisoka knew is a big NO NO.
Why in the world would he want to provoke him? Bro is scared for his life right now
"I´m not just plainly attracted to strong opponents. F.e. I´m not into orgies, so people only strong in groups don´t turn me on. And I´m not into animals, so strong beasts don´t turn me on either. My tastes are actually, like, completely vanilla."
- "What about children?"
"My tastes are mostly vanilla."
A Hisoka and Tserriednich encounter would feed families
Man I need more content asap... these videos are fantastic as always
The card symbolism was really cool this chapter. The princes representing the cards in a suit and Morena being the joker
There were so many points I missed in this arc. Your channel is a life saver
Yeah this shit getting deeeeeep..... No way this arc finishing in 30 chapters. Maybe this a huge double arc one leading into the next. I just don't know what to think anymore anything can happen either really detailed or abruptly and intense.
I can't wait to see more of what the troupe is gonna do. Insane how they can casually take out nen users with ease of swatting flies even now.
It seems like the funeral procession will be the turning point of the arc, when all the pieces fall in place, and everything turns into chaos.
Togashi is properly cooking with HxH now, bless him!
The Gary Oak has me laughing everytime I see it hahaha ty for the video.
We know that Hisoka is not interested in princes or their nen beasts, so he will be in charge of helping him with the spider.
this is getting peak! i rlly hope Togashi's heart doesn't give out before he completes this arc at least. would be such a shame
This was an amazing Chapter, still vanilla would not be my choice to describe the perverted murder clown. ^^
About the Hei'li and phantom troupe similarities: I think the Hei'li with their goal to "destroy everything" are very similar to the early phantom troupe.
