To an extent I agree with that, but I already watch Joel’s show so it would be highly repetitive. Even this weekly segment is highly repetitive, but Colin and Joel’s chemistry makes it alright. I don’t know if that would be sustainable with 2 segments a week
@@extremeuzer3 I listen to Joel's 3 shows a week too but I can't imagine two 15 minute segments from them would dilute their chemistry. Plus, even if joel is rehashing stuff from his pod, it's refreshing hearing Colin bounce off ideas to get different takes from joel since he's essentially soloing his podcast
One of the best sports segments on television and I’ll say it again because everybody always praises Klatt and he’s great but it’s Colin’s lack of insecurity and ego and being willing to let Joel Klatt shine that makes this segment work.
THANK GOD the powers that be at FS1 have finally brought regular 17 minute segments of Colin and Joel as a now weekly tradition. When college football season is over his show suffers greatly for not having Klatt on reguarly.
Joel Klatt is hands down the best analyst in sports right now. His knowledge and ability to think outside the box is amazing. I like college football but I don’t follow it anywhere as close as I do the NFL, but I still watch this segment every week, and listen to his podcast every week just to hear Joel speak.
@@davidl1307 I totally agree. its very interesting that they are clearly avid fans of college football as a whole, yet have wildly different views when it comes to playoff structure and the future playoff expansion. I would love to see them talk college football together
Greatest segment on the show every week. Not even big into cfb news, except utah cause I live there but man this guy talks football like no ones business.
Nobody, absolutely nobody has the insight that Klatt has. The dude is amazing; his breadth of knowledge is freaky. Kudos also to Colin for allowing him to shine and share his expertise. Colin has the self confidence to allow Klatt to take the ball and amaze viewers week after week. Still the single best sports segment anywhere, on any platform.
I know people say this literally for every video they have together but got damn it do they not deserve the love. The way Joel Klatt broke down both Michigan and Ohio State's weaknesses leading up to their matchup was Shakespearean. Hands down best college football analyst out right now
TCU was stuffin😊g the run. They didn’t see any reason that was going to change. But he still should have tried to get him the ball. However, after seeing #5 running all over K State, you have to give the TCU D major props.
Joel bringing up that Zeke and MSU game in 2015 was a dagger to my heart. I hate having to remember that. It was one of the most infamously bad games ever.
"Maybe you see a lot of yourself in them!" Hahahaha good one Klatt! Love BOTh of you guys and the fun banter. It works and it's funny! More please. Go Blue! BOSA - Beat Ohio State Again!
When comparing teams you also need to look at how many home games teams play. Playing eight home games is quite different than six home and six road games.
I wish the Illini-Wolverines game this Saturday was at Champaign. I'm looking forward to watching the game, and besides that it would give Illinois a better chance, I cannot stand hearing that damn Ann Arbor fight song over and over.

I have been a Cowherd fan for a while but I would cringe every time he talked college football. This is a great example of bringing someone in to strengthen your weaknesses.
Is this based on record, toughness of schedule (obviously not), who brings the most $, or just popularity contest?..since college went pro it's getting confusing...
I luv when Colin exposes Klatt's personal biases, particularly when it comes to Trojan Football. This is where Colin is right! It is Colin's show and as a guest, Klatt has to stay respectful.
With Ohio State there are a couple X-factors. May be a long shot but I wouldn’t rule out a Jaxon Smith-Njigba return. Also, Xavier Johnson is going to be a factor at some point in the Game. He just makes big plays all over the field. It’s going to interesting.
If they make the playoff they will just get beat bad again by an elite SEC team. That's why the committee is weary to put them in the playoff. Same thing that happens to ND. They just don't have the athletes all over the field like the SEC teams. Only BIG team that does is the Buckeyes. They recruit like an SEC team.
Watch The Number One College Football Show with RJ Young: foxs.pt/no1showrj
I’m legit proud of the fanbase continuously keeping the Klatt-father Colin-son theme alive every Wednesday, as does Joel with every appearance
Yes I love it lol 😂
Never let it die😂

Klatt has a college football podcast with 2-3 episodes a week. A weekly lesson to correct Colin's wrongs is the perfect amount
Once just to roast each other XD
No one wants college after a full NFL slate

agree, I also feel like Colin has the most fun during these segments. The back and forth is great
Every week Colin gets his notebook and pencil, sits by the fire and his dad takes him to school. I love it. Great segment every time

One of the best segments in sports talk shows!
I didn’t realize Father’s Day was every Wednesday during football season until I began watching this show!
old joke, but still a good one! ha
So funny, might be the best joke ever
Best segment of the week nice of Colin to bring his dad to work!
old joke, but still a good one! ha
Still the best weekly segment of Colin's show. Klatt gets me ready for college football games to watch during Sat chores.
“Maybe you see a lot of yourself in them” was savage 🔥🔥
klatt should have an episode on his pod each week w colin, would love to see em for more then 15 minutes a week
These guys chemistry is unmatched
This is just a fantastic segment every week
These chats are so awesome! I still dont care about college football, but Klatt/Herd banter is so terrific I cant not watch these weekly interviews!
This is one of the Colin segments I look forward to every week. Great Wednesdays.
I don't even love college football but this segment is a must watch for me every week
My favorite guest for you to have Colin..... Want to get an in depth view of college football... Klatt's the guy.
Best segment of the week! Every Week!
Best segment on tv period!!
This is routinely the best segment every week
best segment of the week every week. Such a beautiful father son relationship
Love listening to Klatt, dude is just sharp and knows his football like nobody else.

Joel Klatt is legit Colin's dad from September to January
Another great show with spot on analysis!
The Ohio States second option is Cade Stover. He's a beast.

Very happy to hear your calling the UCLA vs USC game Joel!!!

I wish I got to visit my dad once a week. Colin's so lucky.
That roast by Joel was the best :)
Just a great sight to see when Colin gets to spend quality time with his dad

They should have their own show, it’d rival Skip and Shannon

I think after CFB season, Joel should still come on once a month to update Colin on all things CFB. ❤️
JJ has a lower completion percentage recently because they've been taking shots downfield. 20yds and under he is still light years ahead of Cade.
Colin “I’m a west coast guy” Cowherd having a good sit down with his father is always nice to see
