2006-2008 F150 Fog Light Replacement How To Change Them Out

It was time to replace the busted and yellow fog lights in the truck. If yours are broken, yellow or just need to be replaced, I show you how to swap them out in this video. You can find replacement fog lights on eBay for as little as $30.

Hi would this be real similiar to a 2004 lincoln navigator fog light replacements

George Cruz I’m not sure. The assembly’s available on eBay for navigators looks to be similar but on the low end run $72. So there is something different. I’d imagine that the process is similar to remove them.

No problem. I do suggest the led lights. Our house just flooded again and to get out we had to drive through some high water. These lights took on some water but the led bulbs are good and didn’t blow out.

Just route it next to the factory one all the way through the firewall. As long as it not contacting anything hot or moving you will be fine.

I believe there is an adjustment screw on the top area. If I remember correctly you can only adjust up and down.

@@texassteven8988 actually I went back and looked at the video. I believe at 1:00 you see the screw with a spring, that should be the adjustment screw.

I have to set the story straight on what everyone calls fog lights. These are not true fog lights but are actually driving lights. A true fog light is an amber color. White light is actually the worst color against fog. Fog reflects the white light as amber actually pierces fog, snow, and rain.

Swap the bulb with yellow and they are fog lights. The housing is multi use. I personally have 100w led in and are almost as bright as the led headlights. I don’t use the. For “fog light” purposes, but rather to put as much light out as possible for driving. But per Ford MOCO these are Fog Lamps.

It’s a work truck. It gets drug through the woods and anything else I need to do on the two propertys lol. Not to worried about pant on a 16 year old 285k mile work horse lol. Now if it was new that would be a different story.
