- Turtle WoW is a private server adding content to 1.12 vanilla WoW to expand the world and expand playability. In an update done earlier this year, the developers released a patch containing a secret quest chain leading to a secret zone with a secret raid boss - their version of the Secret Cow Level. @@mykaelnyx8821 they technically have "player housing" albeit in guild form. guilds can ask for guild headquarters/housing, which gives some life to the world given that it's a rp server

What no Cow Mount ?
No cow mount, just a cow pet. The pet has 100% drop chance, so will drop on every kill but only one person can loot it.

Minor correction about Fishbringer, for turtle wow, those aq20 bosses, that LOOKS like a blessing of protection but is actually a full damage immunity. But it does work on nefarian.

I can confirm it does drop eventually lol. 1200+ cow kills to finally get one. I spent more time farming the start of the quest then completing it.
Around 2009 in private wow server name Havoc thare was special zones to do funny shit like the Iron forge airport, Hyjal full of bosses and there is a secret place with a portal in Hyjal were You are teleport in the secret Cow level full of level ?? Cows elite who drop a lot of gold and there was the cow king, but i don't remenber the lot.
Does King Moo count as a World Boss? With a single respawn for the whole server? Or is is just as any normal raid lockout with a weekly reset between Tuesday and Wednesday?
It counts as a world boss, so once someone kills it you have to wait for the respawn just like any other world boss. The Moomoo Grove zone doesn't act like an instance, so there is no lockout timer.
Wow thanks for your quick answer! It's such a pity he is counted as a world boss. I bet he is heavily camped. Not sure if u get the chance to kill him as a casual right now.

@Max The respawn is roughly 5-7 days, and yes unfortunately the boss is pretty heavily camped. The population on turtle has boomed a lot lately, so there is even more competition for the kills.
@@daaki85 Does everyone in the group need the prequest? Or just the player who opens cow level? I hope the turtle wow team will change the lockout of cow level to raid lockout. :) Would be way more fun for players outside of the hardcore community.
@Max you could say that everyone needs to do the prequest, and in most cases that will be true. The alternative is, since the zone is an actual world zone and not an instance, a warlock is able to summon players who haven't done the prequests. But the warlock and two players would still need to actually do the prequests to summon others inside.
Retail wow had a secret wow level for the diablo anniversary with now unobtainable rewards for participating.
It's little things like this that make me regret having left the server.

@@anthonyschwartz1084 because the staff are awful. A friend of mine had been doxxed and had personal data threatened due to ganking a staff member at some point.
@@turcanudan9386 yeah I remember hearing about doxxing. Never happened to me or anyone I knew, but the staff always struck me as toxic.
Any time anyone questioned decisions they made, they would just be thrown aside. To them anything they do is fine as long as the server doesn't die over night.
You did good, the server stuff is a bunch of angry teenagers.
not to mention they have 800 +/- fake players they say are “just there to make ranking easier” 🤔 wonder why they are included in the population graph then

I farmed a a lot of cow with my main and didnt get it and i killed 1 cow with my alt and got it...
So nice to see how a small group of passionate developers and designers help out an even smaller indie game company like Blizzard. They should HIRE THE TURTLE WOW TEAM FFS
Hell no, Blizzard will ruin anything they touch same as Nostalrius ctra. Its now shit company thet doesn't care about players only about cash and other shit like lgbt, fem agenda's.
Blizzard died at the end of WOTLK expansion sadly, and they will never comes back.
@@lifeblood90 Blizzard died before the wotlk expansion even finished. Wotlk is a disgrace to MMO players of the older times and all of Blizzards current philosophies regarding the game started with wotlk. WotLK started off with super easy raids (aside from Sath+) , turned epics into easily acquirable gear and made most of the quests past 80 useless.
If anything WotLK is the beginning of the downfall. The things that carried the expansion was WC3's legacy and the massive amount of casuals Blizzard catered to. Not saying WotLK was bad per se, but most of the criticism WoW gets nowadays can be traced back to it. WotLK was the start of the patch-focused gameplay we're still seeing nowadays and people stillaren't happy about it.
Something about a cow selling you its own milk is so damn capitalist it brings a tear to my eye from sheer pride.

Blasted lands is a zone south of the swamps of sorrows. There is a narrow path near Stonard that leads into the zone. Once the terrain starts turning red you'll know you're on the right path 😅

Not sure if you're implying this video is fake - for clarity, this footage is from the Turtle WoW fanmade private server, not from retail WoW. There are no playable blood elves or draenei on Turtle WoW, as it's based on the 1.12 patch and not on anything post-TBC. They have, however, added high elves and goblins as playable races. In the video I'm playing a high elf warrior. That's why there are no blood elf or draenei areas on the world map.

It looks just like any of those fish you can equip to your hand that you can get from fishing. Not that unique of a model, unfortunately. People tend to transmog their fishbringer once they get it.

This is what Goldshire looks like on TurtleWoW's server. I mean, technically you could call TurtleWoW itself a mod as it brings a whole bunch of changes to the game.

Are you able to enter the cow level as many times as you want once you got the items once? Or do you have to get the items over and over every time you try to enter the cow level?
You can enter as many times as you like. The quest with the items just needs to be turned in once.

@@Vladi.G I believe the respawn timer is about 5-7 days. And yeah, the boss can only be killed once.

What graphics mods are you using?
I'm not using any graphic mods here. Everything shown graphic-wise comes with the Turtle WoW client download from their website. They call it Patch-T or something like that (it adds the high elf race, for example, alongside a bunch of other graphics, but I wouldn't expect it to work with other servers). Yes, but also sort of. The only alternative to not completing the quest chain is to have a warlock summon you to the area. Moomoo Grove doesn't act like an instance, but rather is its own unique zone, so warlocks can summon other players to and from this area.

WHAT CHARACTER MODEL MOD ARE YOU USING?
No specific character model mods are being used. These are standard models on the Turtle WoW server. High elves and goblins are custom made player races added to this server.
