What If Ash Got Togepi?

- In the OG Pokemon anime we were treated to out first Gen 2 Pokemon in the form of an egg, Togepi. Ash was supposed to get this adorable creature but it ended up choosing Misty instead. So today, I'm telling the tell of what would have happened if it did end up with Ash instead.

If Ash would have gotten Togepi he would have literally played it in the next battle a level 1 Togepi vs a level 25 Gyarados
You can't even find a level 25 gyarados because magikarp evolves into a gyarados at level 30.
@@JesusChrist-iu3mh fishing has many different possibilities. You can catch lv 100 magicarp or a 25 dragonair

To be fair: I still think Ash should have gotten Togepi since he was the one who found it's egg originally.
Chara I feel you ash was about be the first one togepi saw but misty shoved brock and ash out of the way at the last second and he won the tournament so misty only "owns" togepi because it imprinted on her
That moment of Togepi evolving was pretty badass. I wish that really happened in the anime

This is so true he was supposed to be ashes because he won their little mini tournament in which the house was also a part of because he didn't want Jesse or James to get the Pokemon that was half out of the egg because he didn't believe that they would be good parents to the egg and would just hand it over to Giovanni.

Maybe that part 2 could see Ash finding out Togetic can evolve when he’s in Sinnoh, giving him Togekiss
If Ash got Togepi instead of Misty then he'll train it hard more that Misty and it'll evolved into Togetic and then once found a shiny stone the Ash will evolved it into Togekiss👍.
And then release it at Mirage Kingdom because reasons!
Ash is stupid it'll end up like scraggy except worse since it's Kanto ash. Let's not forget hoenn, sinnoh, and Kalos ash is where ash actually had a brain

@@Tsukune2001 a social media tweet from Japan actually confirmed that Mimey ( Mr Mime ) is indeed one of Ash's pokemon . Ash most likely caught Mimey off screen similar to how he owned Lapras and still owns Squirtle despite the fact he is never shown catching the two . Its essentially like how Bonnie typically cared for Dedenne despite the fact it belonged to Clemont , Delia is simply the one who spends the most time with Mr Mime .
Gosh I've been wondering about this for like, ever! Also if Ash kept and evolved Togetic into Togekiss it could have bonded well with Dawn's Togekiss.
If Ash would have Togekiss, Dawn without a doubt wouldn't got it. The whole point of giving Dawn a Togekiss was to put it in the anime

I love the story, I love the relationship that Pikachu had with Togepi and I like the Igglypuff that had the patterns on it she looks cute and cool and I like the patterns on it even though they look kinda strange and I like the relationship that Togepi had with Igglypuff and I like that Togetic became a good sibling for Igglypuff.

This is a pretty good story! I hope you do a sequel at some point! It’ll be awesome to see how it changes things but saddening if Ash has to say goodbye like in that one episode of the Hoenn series.

Before watching the video the answer is that it would have evolved into togetic at the end of johto adventures and been left at oaks lab and returned for mirage island later and ash would release it. That’s what would ACTUALLY happen.

I was hoping you would go on with the story until the Sinnoh where Ash after putting Togetic at Oak's reused it in the Sinnoh League (like Quilava) and then had the chance to evolve into Togekiss. Dawn having a Togekiss out of the blue always looked quite weird

I always wished it went to Ash just because it had a similar gimmick as Psyduck, with Togepi having metronome it could have been a really fun co-star for Pikachu that comes out and suddenly does some ridiculously strong attacks out of no where. Honestly, it's the same lost potential when they chose Pikachu as the mascot over Clefairy, metronome is gold in a show like this.

Can you do what if May choose mudkip in the begining of her adventure,ash get torchic instead of treecko(I really wanted to see ash with blaziken) & Brock owned a treecko but this time unlike marshtomp he evolve into sceptile
I’d do to one better. In sinnoh, togetic would have evolved into togekiss. Still battling but wanting to do contests also. Forcing ash to reach out to may and Dawn about the topic

Ya know, mentioning the whole different patterns thing reminded me how annoying it is that, even after several games went through remakes, we never got an Orange Islands part, with all the unique regional variants, in any of the games.
Sure, we got a bunch of islands in the seven isles thing in Leaf Green and Fire Red and the Mirage Spots in ORAS, heck, Alola is a bunch of islands with regional variants too, not to mention Isle of Armour and Crowne Tundra in Shield and Sword... but we've NEVER ONCE gotten those Orange Island variants before and, sadly, it looks like we never will.

nah, still there. last i saw it was in the sun and moon anime when komola beat it at its own game. prob still terrorizing people, buring down cities, pushing poeple off cliffs, etc
