Delicious Pop Tart Cookies - Twisted Mikes

Mom is making us one of her delicious cookie recipes. These pop tart cookies are fantastic. We use strawberry pop tarts and chocolate sprinkles, but you can use your favorite flavor of pop tarts to create your own variation. Give them a try, you will enjoy the rich buttery flavored cookie.
In a mixing bowl combine the following:
1 cup softened butter
1.5 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
mix well
Mix together the following:
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Once mixed blend with the wet ingredients.
Mix in 4 strawberry pop tarts that has been chopped and 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles.
Once mixed, Place 1 tbsp of cookie mixture on cookie sheet that is topped with parchment paper. Make sure the cookies are 2" apart.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, let cool on pan, the place on rack to finish cooling. Enjoy.
