Also, her matron of honor is one of the most beautiful women I've EVER seen! Her eyes are absolutely unbelivable and I have no idea how she managed to find a dress that's exactely the same color!!! She has beautiful hair, face, lips, features, proportions, she's jaw dropping beautiful to me! Bride's mom is so cute and i love her accent, she can see all the great stuff the bride can't see in herself and she uplifts the daughter wanting her to be more confident.

That first dress is something out of a fairytale, it was so gorgeous and enchanting and just magical and she has such a sweet and loving support group 🥺💖😭
My faves too. That and the two Ladies who specialize. They are so wonderful as well. I was a plus size bride. I designed my own gown. I'm so happy I could do that. It was such a lovely day, and 22 years later, I feel blessed.
Finally, a mother who is very reasonable and didn't put her daughter down for anything. She wasn't pushy about what her daughter should or shouldn't wear, she didn't take over the whole appointment. She sat patiently and waited to see what her daughter would come out wearing and just wanted her daughter to feel good about herself again. Bravo, Mom!
Me to, me to. Gok is a god send for sure to boost these women's confidence. He knows just what to say and how to say it to make them see how beautiful they really are inside and out. I absolutely loved that she picked the second dress because it was so beautiful and stunning on her body. She is gonna make her groom cry on their wedding day when he sees how beautiful she is. God bless their wedding and marriage and may it last a lifetime and forever.
I love how Gok never rushes the bride through the process. He always picks dresses that hit every request and then some, but he never lets them settle after just trying on one or two things. He really lets them see themselves at their own very best.
I can’t imagine any other dress looking that absolutely stunning on her. The maid of honor was everything you would want in a friend. The delicate way of saying she liked the other dress better was so incredibly well thought out and well put together. What a really really lovely human being. The mother is beautiful and looks stunning with gray hair. How nice to watch a “nice” episode where there isn’t anyone being nasty or rude. It’s actually refreshing. I am so happy to see gowns that don't make a bride look like strippers. Most brides get married in church. What happened to some modesty.? Not a turtle neck. But not slits up to here or neck lines down to there. There's a reason for lace. It gives the ILLUSION of bare with coverage. A little mystery can be very alluring. Beautiful bride, dress, stylist.

Gok is amazing, Sammi is so adorable, her mum is so wonderfully supportive, kind and validating and the matron of honor is exactly the kind of sounding board you need in a friend! I especially love how Gok put her in dresses that were within her budget and addressed her concerns while still pushing her out of her comfort zone a little and boosting her confidence in the process - Gok is an absolute treasure.
This has became my favorite bridal show because of Gok. He the person we all need to show us we can be beautiful as we are and don’t need to hide because of the things we see as imperfections.

I think Gok was pretty big in his teens/early 20’s, so he understands body confidence/feeling big even when you have lost weight…. He is so compassionate and encouraging, love his episodes!
He's been through both ends. He was heavier when he was younger, but then he developed an eating disorder while trying to lose the weight and had to overcome that, too. So he genuinely understands the struggle.

I think sleeves are an underrated feature of wedding dresses, but so commonly they are used to cover something up. I'm so glad she tried something without sleeves and went back to the second dress because that meant she was choosing the sleeves not because she had to cover herself up, but because it was a beautiful dress that created a perfect look with her hair and accessories. The sleeves were in a very classic shape, too. She looked like a fairy queen.

I think sleeves are an underrated feature of wedding dresses, but so commonly they are used to cover something up. I'm so glad she tried something without sleeves and went back to the second dress because that meant she was choosing the sleeves not because she had to cover herself up, but because it was a beautiful dress that created a perfect look with her hair and accessories. The sleeves were in a very classic shape, too. She looked like a fairy queen.
I gasped when she came down in the second dress. She's a stranger on TV. I have no emotional attachment to her and it took my breath.
This dress she picked might be one of the prettiest dresses. It would have been nice to see the wedding.
As the bride is telling Gok what she wants, I can see him thinking, running through all the dresses he has and what would be best for the bride.
