Firstly, that’s a lazy excuse
2ndly i myself have traveled with no money at all, even on my birthday I was broke in another country but all was good
WolfieTaurus I recommend Simon Wilson’s videos. His whole channel is about showing you that money and language doesn’t have to be a barrier especially for travelling, he’s creating social awareness and raising money for charity at the same time (someone challenges him and if he succeeds the money goes to charity-as far as I know he’s completed every challenge). He creates a lot of unknown hacks along the way and shares them too. He’s all about something from nothing and that’s his brand.
Right now he’s traveling for 3 says at a time in several countries. Dubai, India, Amsterdam etc. He pays for his flight and that’s it but truly amazingly he has crossed countries, borders, cities, towns etc with absolutely no money. Australia and the unites states most notably. No travel paid for-noting. So many creative challenges and sometimes his subscribers get involved. Maybe find him in their area and give him a meal or buy him something or allow him to stay the night. Sometimes he’s not allowed any help from his subs. Sometimes he has to get strangers involved, like finding a travel partner, someone to show him around or hitch hiking,usually it means him gaining subs in the process too

Taz, download google translate, you can take pictures and it will translate what you take a picture of. Which means you can translate those papers that way.
It doesn't work always though. When I travelled to Nice in Paris, I tried using that for transport signs/food. There were some pretty strange translations

It must be great to live in Europe where you can easily travel to a different country whenever you want. The closest I can get to a "vacation" is LA which is like a 30-minute drive (malibu to be more specific) but that's not much of a vacation cause of traffic which turns a simple 30 minute drive into a 3 hour drive.
the nearest vacation spot for me is 3 hrs away, not counting traffic or anything X3

I went to Greece 1 week on my own and just came back, it was really nice to just explore by myself and explore the place by myself and it felt so nice, made a few friends on the 3rd day & they showed me places, had like mini house parties (I had a Airbnb apartment) & it was probably the best holiday I’ve been to. Just to run away from my life for a week and forget about everything. It was like living a new life for a week and it felt so good.
