For our old quick connect/ disconnect system we welded a plate in there so they couldn't get destroyed by the guys picking up boulders & other heavy landscaping materials that would normally fall in between the machine and the bucket. Also we put a steel bumper on the rear so the door couldn't get smashed where the door would no longer open.
If you would pulled away from the trailer and move the bed out of the locks you can set it on the trailer edge and pull the bob cat and/or mini excavator on the rollback. Been driving wrecker for 35 years. Done it alot of times
I was wondering if it'd be economical at all to have rail service through csx at the second yard. I know it might not be ideal especially with the gerdau mill so close to the main yard. Any thoughts on it? Would love to see some rail traffic

Poor lil komatsu is hating life these days. Hopefully it won't be to bad getting it fixed.

Head gasket is my sneaking suspicion on the pc 55. I'm surprised the oil wasn't milky considering the white smoke
if its a head gasket you can smell it really quick

To be burning that much oil it’s more than likely bad pistons and rings , first thing I’d be doing is a compression test
