So....would you like to come to my house and do my tanks for me?? 😂. Good work man...I keep staring at my new tanks hoping one say they will just swap themselves out magically.

So you went through What i did and am going through with my 78 series 2. I got it from a private collector, did a shit ton of research when i got it. I took the engine and trans out, POR 15'd everything i could after a good scrub. After that I had the engine rebuilt, ordered every accessory part. Updated engine stay mounts by prepared by Claudius ,series 3 engine mounts, stainless complete exhaust( then had it coated). Rebuild the weber 45dcoe carbs, brand new fuel tanks and lines ( deleted the crossover and am using sjssportscars nylon and steel one, updated crossover cable for reverse, new stainless coolant pipes, all new lines, new brakes for the rear from pnm engineering. Anything that was old i have trashed lol. I want it to be fresh and new. I am getting it back together now, jus t aiting on a few more parts like new engine carpets. But you pull it apart to fix one thing and bam while your in there its like.. ok these u joints need to be refreshed etc wheel bearings then it dont end ! loved the vid i get it. BTW JAE sells a upgraded citroen sm c35 gearbox input shaft, When you reinstall to the block dont forget that nylatron bushing! There is a early esprit group on yahoo if you arent in it you should join

Hey, thanks for the comment! You're exactly right... once you tear these apart you end up replacing just about everything. How do you like the pnm brake kit. I've been eying those myself. I'm getting ready to post another video on the wiring upgrades.. the new harnesses took more time than I thought, but I'm just about finished. Also, putting a tesla motor in an 88 esprit... that should be a fun project.

That looks rusty for an American car, are you East coast? That bracket was an additional engine mount to stop the engine moving forward on the lower mounts.
