@Meg, do you have a video of showing girls on defense how to watch the swing to anticipate where the ball will be hit? I.E. late swing and hands behind pushes to the right side of the diamond ?
@@MegRemSoftball - maybe it’s an episode that you can produce :) I am all about the ladies paying attention and understanding the knowledge of swing patterns and knowing how to adjust their position to be in the right spot when the ball is hit. I follow your videos and also use your exercises with my 10u Girls Select softball team we are building in a small town in Northern Cali, and my daughter watches as well. We appreciate your videos and are big fans.
Do you do live pitching at practice? If not, definitely incorporate it. You can even do a station at practice where the girls won't swing, but they will say yes or no when they actually would swing. This will allow them to only focus on the ball coming in opposed to mechanics.
We’ve done several of your drills with our travel team! Really helps to break up the monotony! Thanks!
I’m glad it’s helpful! Always good to have options, I agree!
LETS GOOOOO

as a coach how can i teach my players to swing at good pitches instead of letting them go by? how to teach confidence in reading the pitch?
