I wasn't able to get a subscription to the Ghost Post but there was so much attention to detail and thought put into this I really wish I had been, thank you for sharing all of the secrets with the people who weren't able to get their own.
Beautiful! Reminds me of the Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, and Merlin interactive adventures kids could take with their Smart Phones. And of course, as my sister LOVES the Haunted Mansion lore, this would be just the ticket for her.

Trying to figure out where I recognize the voice actor playing Victor might drive me insane... Also. I dislike math magic a lot. So that card trick thing at the end is pretty tedious but other than that, this is all even cooler than I expected. Can't wait for the video of the in-park aspect.

I REALLY wish I knew about this sooner. This is really cool to me, I love all of the story development for the mansion and all of the interactive puzzles. Very cool and interesting for a fan of Disney and HM.

I'm mad! I paid $215, waited over 3 weeks, and my freakin tea cup (the coolest part in the box) arrived broken because there was NO padding around the porcelain cup and the bat came loose and banged against it! And Disney says they don't even know if there are any replacements. WTH?!?!?!?!

While I agree it's a shame it wasn't packaged more carefully you have to realize with such limited quality the fact there may be no replacements shouldn't be too much of a shock. Sorry man...
+Kenshi Mardon they said they are mailing me a replacement so my fingers are crossed. surely they produce lots of extras in anticipation that boxes will get lost, boxes will be damaged, etc.

That's Pete Renoudet! A veteran Voice over artist and familiar "face" in the parks, you might know him as the first mate on the Mark Twain, or as Henry, the top-hat sporting MC of the Country Bear Jamboree!
Charlotte's dad is John Goodman, voice of Sully in Monsters inc. and Pacha from The Emperor's New Groove.
Where is part 2?
I don't understand why they haven't made a part 2. This is a fantastic unboxing/walkthrough video! I guess it might be to late for them to make a part 2 & 3 cause I'm presuming every other subscriber is finished with their boxes, and the special audio in the Disneyland park got removed on August 20th. I suggest for any one who wants to see a part 2 (and 3) go to the Ghost Outpost Twitter page and tell them that we want to see a Ghost Post unboxing/walkthrough part 2 and 3.
Thanks for this great video! I found out about it early enough to have purchased a subscription, but I live in Canada. No luck for me. I'm glad I can live vicariously through you!

It sucks that I wasn't informed about this but it's pretty interesting. My only questions are that if The Nightmare Before Christmas will be involved and/or referenced and if there will be an event culminating the finale of this at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.
I doubt it. The Nightmare Before Christmas is just a theme for Xmas. The Haunted Mansion storyline is separate from the storyline for Nightmare Before Christmas.
Jack's just a visitor for the holidays, since he found some people who actually enjoy his version of Christmas!

I'm sure there's a cloud based feature in the app, so they're probably waiting till all 999 subscribers solve the second box's mystery.
***** The app I beleive is called Ghost Radio or something like that. It only works when you have a subscription to the Ghost Post (what is featured in this video). Only 999 were sold (one for each Ghost in the mansion) and is now unavailable to order.
