One obscure but notable instance is Spring Bonnie's loading message being "Male? Female? Its a rabbit, who cares. " To my knowlage Spring Bonnie's gender was never debated in the community before that point. It could just be a comment about his eyelashes, but its implieng being nonbinary in some way rather than being a mildly effeminate male. Having this be Spring Bonnie's line is especially interesting due to his connection with William Afton. Is this implying that he's queer too? While unlikely and irrelevant its still interesting. Or mabey Scott just didn't know bunnys had gender lmao

12:21 Glamrock Freddy’s voice actor, Kellen Goff is apart of the LGBTQ community himself. He came out as demisexual in 2017 and then as bisexual in 2021, and has been open about, especially on twitter, and is kind of well known for being in gay anime.

Here are my theories for Mangle and Funtime Foxy that I've had for a while:
Mangle - I think Mangle was designed with no gender in mind since the beginning, they're a robot that has no complete suit and is literally just a mess of parts so the employees referred to them as both or neither cuz why bother making it a character now that its sole purpose is to be ripped to shreds?
Funtime Foxy - I think Funtime Foxy is just a feminine guy and the teenager voice HandUnit mistook him for female cuz of his looks, his pronouns seem more consistently male in his descriptions in UCN and SL Custom Night along with his voice.
I do have one question tho. Why is fixed Mangle named Funtime Foxy too instead of Toy Foxy? I wonder if SL Foxy's design influenced Toy Foxy's design, that could be why they're almost the same.
But we do know mangle's gender it's yes

@@Candjstudios2024 Well yes Mangle has been classified as a female they’ve also been identified as male by Phone Guy during Fnaf 2 night 3 phone call were he calls them both he/him and of course there’s the classic answer Scott gave when asked the question he said yes and then last year Freddy In Space 3 came out and one of the levels “Quiz time with Monty” the final question was what is Mangle’s gender and again the answer given was yes
@@ReeceConnor. Phone guy calls mangle male because he's used to foxy being a he. And Mangle's gender being yes in the quiz was a joke. Scott has called mangle she on Reddit more times than there are puppetmaster movies and comics (and games) so that's like what, atleast 30 something?

Also regarding Funtime Foxy, I like to headcanon that they can change gender/personality based on the situation. They ARE canonically able to change voice, after all!

Even though LGBTQ representations isn't very focused in the lore or in the games as much, but as a Bi-curious male, I can see where the series is going with this, and I like it a bit.
The good thing about it in fnaf is that it isn’t forced in and obnoxious. There is no message behind it. Just their for fun. If anything it’s what gives these characters charm in a jokey manor.
If anything, Scott did subtle representation better than Hollywood more often than not.

If I'm being completely honest, I always saw Mangle as a female. Her voice in UCN feels more damaged than anything to me, and in the games, Mangle was created during a time where memebers of the LBGT community were still frowned upon enough for big companies to not include any characters who are even remotely gay.
However, I'm not gonna shit on people who think otherwise. At the end of the day, while what others believe Mangle to be is unconfirmed, what I believe Mangle to be is also unconfirmed, and really, I'm not gonna shit on people for having different headcanons than me. Even if Mangle IS confirmed to be an enby, she'll still be one of my favorite characters in the series regardless.
Sexual orientation is something that I really don't care about in a person, let alone a fictional character, much like their race or religion. At the end of the day, we're all children of God(or children of science if you're an athiest), and we shouldn't treat people like lesser beings because of something so trivial about them.

I tend to expect this kind of discussion to go to shit from ether side but here we go.
I always referred the mangle as an “it” purely because I assumed it didn’t have a gender due to being a scrap animatronic, although I think UCN confirms she’s gender fluid. I think Scott may have originally intended for him to be female, but used male pronouns in the phone call because of the phone guy talking about a foxy animatronic (if that makes sense). As for mystic hippo, along with what you said in the video, if Steel Wool wanted Her to be Mr. Hippo, then I feel like there would probably be more similarities like giving Mystic hippo a more square nose like Mr. Hippo (although maybe my legally blind ass is seeing the design wrong lol). I know you can get plastic surgery for that, but if they wanted the two to be connected, it would make more sense for them to look more similar imo.

I’ve always had my eye out on these little hints, and while it took me a while to see it in the original games, the Security Breach games DEFINITELY delivered for me. I mean, the animatronics are GLAM-rock after all, not to mention all the glamorous (pun intended) fan art of them, possibly more than the OG games.
As a shipper of Fronnie myself, I honestly interpret it as both ways ‘cause it’s entertaining to see how both scenarios would go. 😅
I swear Funtime Foxy is referred to as "she" somewhere. I'm not trying to argue with anyone, but I very firmly remember Funtime Foxy being spoken about with "she" as a pronoun.

i think it's great that the genders and sexualities are able to be hinted at, it allows ppl to really see themselves in a series they love.
and on the topic of glamrock fronnie, i know a lot of the problems ppl have with it is due to fnaf shipping in the past (which is not rlly chill considering the animatronics were possessed by children), but (to my knowledge) the glamrocks are not. if you think fronnie is canon in the sb arc, cool! if you don't, cool! i don't think either should be seen as an issue.
Though FNAF does a good job having some lgbt representation, its undeniable that The Helluvaverse (Hazbin Hotel+Helluva Boss), The Owl House and Steven Universe are the forms of media that i know of that'll be the biggest representations in lgbt in media
I refuse to accept William Afton as anything but at least mildly queer in some way. He’s purple which is very associated with gays. You look at the two versions we’ve been given (graphic novel and movie) and tell me they’re straight. Especially the graphic novel. Like come on. Look at how he stands when you first see him. Look at how he carries himself. As for the movie. No straight man dresses like that or gives off those vibes. Also I like to think toy Bonnie has something going on gender wise. He just seems like he doesn’t know and identifies as whatever.
My headcanon for what Mangle's gender was is that since they have two heads (I say that because the foxy head of the other one has an Endoskeleton in it) I imagined that the one with the fox head was a girl and the one with the plain Endoskeleton head was a boy, but I'm alright with Mangles gender being They/Them or Yes
I personally believe Funtime Foxy is male with a feminine appearence but Mangle is genderless so goes by anything

I love that we get all types of representation in not only this but many other franchise’s, I can really appreciate it now as i’m moving out of that edgelord teenager phase of my life and willing to see more perspectives then one extremely negative and self-devaluation one that i’ve had for awhile

Great video mate, usually when I see content such as this I'm inclined to click off within a few minutes seeing as- frankly a lot of it is just flat out inflammatory and often lacks a critical eye in favor of emotional satisfaction. But this immediately established the vibe as a chill and grounded analysis, of which is a great and much appreciated change of pace.
Personally, I've always gone with a relatively simple explanation for all of this. Scott, being a conservative Christian who's also stated to be LGBT accepting, intentionally made or otherwise green-lit these characters or dynamics to allow for fans to make of them what they will and show his openness rather then just alleging acceptance. I'd even dare say the ensuing debate has validated that potential endeavor full send.
Mangle is *your* yes, not your affiliations no. Make it whatever you want it to be because you want to.
Also some people think of t Bonnie as like. Gender-fluid or like. Femboy. Which makes sense. I mean.

As a Panromantic, Demisexual, Genderfluid. LGBT representation isn’t my main focus to media of FNAF. But, I want to be happy with the quality of the production being made.
I see Funtime Foxy/Mangle as Genderfluid (Any Pronouns) and William Afton-free Spring Bonnie as just Non-Binary (He/They). I kinda think Lolbit is Genderqueer (Interchangeably Any Pronouns), Demigender (Retroactively Any Pronouns), or Non-Binary (They/Them).
I consider my Mangle/Funtime Foxy within the lens of my eyes within the Magistralverse Mangle as just Genderfluid/Non-Binary (She/He/They/It/etc). I kinda see her as some genderfluid tomboy girl with female presenting appearances.
I just like the fan art of Mangle being drawn as a girl or as a effeminate feminine man or a emasculating tomboyish woman.
I have a headcanon that foxy and bonnie are bi.

For me I think Funtime foxy is a male however I do like Funtime foxy being female and as for mangle/toy foxy/Funtime foxy I think they are gender-fluid. For glamrock Bonnie & glamrock Freddy I think they are a couple lol

honestly in my opinion with no hate, i do not think that a game like five nights at Freddy's should have much to do with lgbtq primarily because its centered around robots which defiantly can not, (like ppl say with mystic hippo and mangle, ) be transgender or identify as anything as they are robots, they dont really have a gender

Guys will you shut up about mangle and Funtime Foxy from Sister location being the same, cuz thy aren't. It's been made very clear that the Funtime Foxy from Sister location and the one from FNAF world are distinctive characters. Funtime foxy or as it is actually toy foxy because of the retconns, is definitely female, while the one from Sister location is definitely male. Im not trying to be rude, but things are pretty dang obvious nowadays.
I will not argue about Mangle as I do not care to do so. However, while Funtime Foxy is mostly referred to or are implied to be male, Funtime Foxy is exclusively referred to as a girl by HandUnit in Sister Location, making this debate not so clear cut.

I am somewhat skeptical with Fronnie. Specifically due to the fact that Glamrock Freddy is implied to have once been Micheal Afton. His movie reincarnation Mike Schmidt is speculated to have feelings for Vanessa A’s film counterpart Vanessa Shelly. If Mikenessa is canon in the mainlines and Mike is Glamrock Freddy. I think Glamrock Freddy currently identifies as either Bi or even Queer.
Glamrock Freddy being Micheal Afton is just a far-fetched theory, and movie Mike is Mike Schmidt, not Micheal Afton.
