"You know.." Know what? Make them in a romantic relationship? Its set in 2035, there are probably gay relationships in the franchise by now, either that, or fazbear entertainment was peer pressured into doing it. It sound like the kind of company to be homophobic then be peer pressured into these things. That's the "you know.."
Okay so let’s piece together an entire cryptic storyline of convoluted plot points that are incredibly difficult to understand and then not accept that two people who are clearly at least a little more than friends are at least a little more than friends.
Freddy and Bonnie have always had a connection even as far back as Fredbear's Family Diner. It's cute to see after all this time Freddy and Bonnie are as close as ever
Not really, I think our reward for supporting this 9 year accidental success of a game is by the movie and besides the games are about dead kids and a murderer not love between the said kids and their relationship.
I think it’s worth noting that Chica also has the Bonnie memorabilia in her room but this is likely just because she is shown to be generally kind and would also miss Bonnie.
Even though freddy and Bonnie have been the characters with the longest running relationship in universe, Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica certainly felt like a trio when the franchise in universe added her to the crew. Given they nearly always were on stage together from that point on. So absolutely adds up why chica is the other band member to be implied to miss Bonnie a lot. The band probably doesn't feel the same without him.
The strangeness of the shipping culture of fnaf might have also been partially because the kids in the suits were barely characterized. It took years till we even knew their names and by then the animatronics had kind of become characters of their own right. I can't really fault anyone for thinking about Freddy smooching Bonnie over two dead kids smooching each other while in animatronic suits, since in a way they'd always been pretty secondary to the aesthetic. But that's not really here or there.
ı was always thought animatronic had an their own characters different from possesed by children kinda like how S.A.M series estabilished. in this aus its not dead children who in romantic relationship its animatronic's with their own characters falls in romantic relationship.
@@karitavahvelainen3562 ı seen the series and a lot of theorys and ı still like to imagine same way because ı really like some ships they are interesting and fun even if some of them are gay
@@bluescience9022funny you mention that, since a recent insta post that quiet tomato made shows how over the years, the animatronics grew more into their own personalities and characters. shows mangle and toy chica from 1980 and then the two in 2023
I’ve always thought that depictions of the animatronics together was supposed to represent like. The in universe character. Like the ones seen in Freddy and friends on tour or on the in universe posters/merch.

Glamrock Fronnie is interesting because it's the first animatronic ship in FNAF that could logically work. The characters aren't posessed machines with no personality, they're actually aware and pretty much capable of human emotion. Might be the most likely ship in the franchise actually, since it's the only one with potential hints
Fanfics, self inserts, shipping, all that jazz, has been around for years--probably even since before Virgil with his self-insert in Dante's Inferno--so it's really just a part of human nature. I don't have anything else to add except that I'm loving the content and congrats on 2k!
Exactly! I remember I was reading Hamlet for my English class and thought of it as fanfiction since Shakespeare took influence from real figures in history for the characters. I think it’s part of human nature to want to explore boundaries like shipping
It amazes me how out of 160 canon animatronics, the possibility of 2 of them being gay is apparently "outrageous and unacceptable" and yet we had fnaf ships since the game came out.
I like the idea of Freddy and Bonnie having this bond but not quite knowing what it is. I highly doubt the ability to become romantically involved with one another was something intentionally programmed into them, and they all seem to be aware of what their programming is. So for this to be a byproduct of that or something done by accident could make them think it’s something that they can’t feel and cant’t happen with them. Freddy and Bonnie could feel confused as to why their bond feels different, maybe asking the others if they feel something like this too. I can see Bonnie later coming to a possible realization after fans start pointing things out to them and shipping them together, but Freddy not understanding and accepting this as it’s not part of their programming. Coming to his own conclusion in the events of Security Breach when he sees Roxy, Chica, Monty and Moondrop very clearly going against what’s been established in their code. And realizing that they can, in fact, step outside that boundary
Glamrock Fronnie is honestly the first time I was ever able to look at any pairing between characters as possibly legit. I've been in the FNAF fandom basically since the first game released, even if my interest in it waned and waxed. I've seen people write self-inserts ever since the first game; but I never was as heavily invested or interested in it as much as Glamrock Fronnie. It's interesting to note that the Security Breach era of FNAF has shifted the storyline from dead children to seemingly AI and digital sentience. Sure, we as viewers and players understand the Glamrocks are no more than "simple" robots, but the Glamrocks don't seem to view themselves as just robots. I mean, Freddy has a whole midlife crisis in SB if you take him down under Roxy Raceway. Roxy struggles with self-esteem and self-worth. These aren't traits that you'd program into a robot; these things are learned emotions. Which is why Fronnie piqued my interest so much. Glamrock Bonnie holds several Freddy merchandise in his own room, with a poster signed love, Freddy on his wall. Freddy mentions missing him dearly--almost akin to grieving and mourning the loss of a loved one. It's interesting these details were given to us, because it makes it seem as though their friendship was so much more complex than the other Glamrocks. If I was looking at it from a stance of sentience, I'd argue Glamrock Bonnie was probably the first to gain "sentience" outside of his own programmed characteristics. Roxy followed, and then Freddy possibly was forced into sentience by Bonnie's death. I'm interested to see what this will spell out for them both in the future.
The only thing I have to point out is that it was said (I think in that character book) that Roxy’s issues with self esteem actually was programmed into her, my guess is to make her more authentic, since she is meant to be a superstar and interact with kids all day, and if she isn’t made human enough, then she won’t serve as a good idol. With that in mind, I believe they were programmed to feel just enough that they can experience unintended emotions as a byproduct.
I’d love to see a video on the designs of the animatronics over the years and why they have such effective designs. You mentioning studying character design makes me think you can give some more unique perspective and takes on the designs 🧡
I have been hated on SO hard for shipping glamrock fronnie, even getting the ominous "this is what happens when scott left." -- I'm glad that FNAF is going in the direction of giving the animatronic personas, relationships, and hobbys, making the characters more relatable! Even if the story is going absolutely terrible, people can still cherish the characters.
>this is what happens when scott left. They *clearly* havent realized it's been like this long before Scott stopped game dev, not to mention they forget *Scott is still here* :V They just wanna throw Steel Wool under the bus for "ruining" their series.
Definitely it's not a good thing relate to things that you should be afraid of ,humanize horror antagonist is one of the worst things a writer can do ,you don't have to relate to Nemesis,Freddy Krueger or Pennywise, for example. You have to feel scared of them.
@@Braint-lr6uf Well that sure didnt stop the community from wanting to fuck the robots as early as FNAF 1, and humanizing the characters on their *own* :V This not considering they're being controlled by something MUCH less "Relatable", so that factor you mentioned is gone.
@@Braint-lr6ufYou also forget the early animatronics are possessed by dead children. You can relate more to their struggle, and anger. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be afraid of what they can do, but that doesn’t mean we cannot relate to them on a human level.
ive always kinda had a 🏳️🌈? look on freddy and bonnie since the og game. Freddy and bonnie have always portrayed a serious and loving person and an exciting, flamboyant complimentary other, which personally describes my partner and i so when Ruin came out and we saw bonnie DEAD no longer serving CUNT it was like seeing myself dead and i was so sad
Imo freddy and bonnie were the first, so why do they date now after all of these years? Besides the older aminitronics *apart from sl* are either dead kids or emotionless. So maybe this ship could be cannon but its like a %92.4 they could be dating because the glamrcosk have alot of emotion, but romantic. Yeah i dont think kids will want to watch a 20 minute kiss time with bonnie and freddy lets all be honest
Also a cute and interesting detail is that Freddy and Bonnie's teeth spacing in the cardboard cutouts fits perfectly with each other's gaps, which an interesting way to compliment thier designs, I think.
This sounds stupid but even when young, I never considered "shipping" the dead kids. The robots were their own entities. Nowadays when they don't enter rage mode I still just consider the dead kids/Remnant a battery source. Elizabeth and Charlie are a little different but they'd be adults nowadays anyway, and their animatronics are adults in the sense of being ageless beings. So that was fine too. And even nowadays I still see some people view Spring (Aka Spring Bonnie) different from Springtrap. Maybe cuz FNAF world did it but yeah, Spring is much of a victim of Afton as the rest.
as someone who was a kid who used to ship the fnaf characters often i though everyone knew this but apparently not. there's entire fan personalities for the fnaf animatronics, so i thought people would catch that it's not about the dead children?
I'm most confused about all of this. Why and how does anyone believe we're shipping souls of dead children?! It's the animatronic characters! It's like writing fan-fiction about Chuck E Cheese. Weird, but not crazy. If I ship Springtrap and Mangle, I'm not shipping William Afton and Susie's dog. I'm shipping the edgy loner bad bunny boy and the petite broken kawaii foxgirl. How hard is that to see with our attitudes?!
6:00 That animated series took me BACK! I completely forgot I ever watched it when I was younger. I didn’t actually involve myself in much shipping in the fandom other than Glamrock Freddy and Glamrock Bonnie. They just fit each other so well!
As someone who used to be really into FNAF shipping I might be able to offer some insight for anyone who's curious, lol. I think part of the reason it got so big was actually BECAUSE the characters were such blank slates- they were like barbie dolls who we could give whatever personalities we wanted to give them. We had, like, one trait that we could extrapolate however we wanted ("chica likes food," "foxy is a pirate," etc) but beyond that, they were just designs. I also think a lot of the fans at the time were either already furries or about to be, and projecting characters and personalities onto the animatronics was like a safe way to explore furrydom for some of these kids. Because let's be honest, a lot of the fanart isn't of the animatronics as actually looking like they do in the game, a lot of the fanart is furry fanart. Different people had different ways of dealing with the kid thing, some weirder than others. Personally i kind of latched onto FNAFworld to get around it, but before that I would usually imagine the kid souls as being less like how a ghost possesses an inanimate object and more like how a demon possesses a person. The little personalities i created were still there, but sometimes the kid possession would take over, sometimes providing for some "this isn't the real you" type angst. It was kind of weird lol.
I always loved Mangle, and Funtime Foxy, and Lolbit. Back before I actually started realizing why I liked them so much, I used to imagine being springlocked inside one of them, and getting to be one of them. It was always such a fun idea to me but I never knew why. Turns out that was a little thing called dysphoria, and i liked them because they were femme-coded. Funny how that turns out.
There's no heterosexual reason for them to be wearing matching earnings and have plushies of each other in their rooms. And monty 100% got rid of Bonnie. He was last seen going to monty golf and the damage on bonnie is the exact same damage monty sustained after falling off the cat walks. Monty was known for always loitering up there, so its not too much of a stretch for monty to have called bonnie up there, claiming he was stuck then pushed him off. Some of the promotional art for glamrock bonnie makes it look like he's falling. Then, when you see bonnie's corpse, it's on a blanket. Meaning that he likely didn't die in his room and was dragged there.
I recently saw a theory video explaining that Monty was framed and is actually innocent, and the killer was narrowed down to the Mimic!! It's up on RUclips somewhere, but I highly recommend it!
i have always thought that fnaf shipping was an idea pulled straight from the darkest pits of hell, but this video helped me realize that its really mostly kids, and some of it isnt so bad. interesting
Yea, once you grow up, you realize that cringe culture sucks, and as long as it ain’t hurting anyone, it doesn’t actually matter, in fact it’s great to see people having fun and expressing themselves in their own ways, sometimes it just ain’t for you, and that’s ok !
Due to having taken too much pre workout to fall asleep, I would like to clear up some confusion surrounding Tony Crynight’s series. First and most importantly is the Springtrap situation/controversy. Springtrap‘s “proposal” was only a trick to apply the conscious transfer ring to revive Fredbear. Although later shorts show Springtrap appearing to be distraught about losing control of Mangle as if he had feelings, yet the main series seems to imply he didn’t. Secondly is the actual status of the animatronics. In the flashback/monologue Springtrap has, he explains that the animatronics are sentient and run the pizzeria themselves. Therefore, these animatronics are solely the characters and have no relation to any murder victims from the actual canon. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie owned the facility until bringing Freddy onboard, only for him to manipulate his way to taking greater control of the business. Fredbear and Springtrap attempt to kill Freddy but are defeated, with Springtrap going into hiding at an abandoned warehouse attached to the main facility. By this logic, Springtrap appears to be more of a withered Spring Bonnie than any sort of Afton. However, later shorts from Tony depict Springtrap as having a human heart. Which brings his status as a sentient robot vs actually matching his canon depiction into question. Either way, I’m glad my boy Tony got the recognition he deserves. The sheer effort and talent put into something as silly as a FNAF romance story is just adorable to me. If a girl were willing to call me Foxy when we’re alone together, I would marry her on the spot. (Only partially joking)
Freddy and Bonnie has been an important ship to me for a very long time (my first OTP was Chica and Bonnie, but when I learned about Fronnie, it took over my brain really quickly). This ship is responsible for most of my original stories and characters because of how many AUs I’d give to these two Canon shop or not, I love these little details they’ve given us in Security Breach. The moments are short, but they speak volumes to a deep bond and connection, and even if it’s platonic, it’s still a sweet and sad story Also, yes, the Tony Crynight series was definitely that Fnaf Twilight 😅. I still love it now, and I enjoyed it a ton when I was a kid. I know lots of people joke about how scary the shippers can be, but honestly, the shippers I found in this fandom were really chill and they came up with things that I still love to this day
My middle school shipping delusions have finally been validated by ruin 💪💪 thanks for recapping the entirety of Tony crynights fangle series I absolutely have to go rewatch it now
I've never shipped any characters in this franchise, there just haven't been enough 'people who interact'. I didn't consider the animatronics to really be 'characters' until Sister Location, when they gained the ability to think for themselves with Baby, etc. The Glamrocks are a lot more conscious than their predecessors and they have personalities of their own. I think GR Freddy and Bonnie could be cute together 😊
I was never really into shipping in FNAF either, even when I was a kid. Sure I watched the Tony Crynight videos but I never actively shipped characters. I’m 18 almost 19 now but I’ll admit that Glamrock Freddy and Bonnie is a cute pairing so I won’t think it’s odd if people ship them cuz they have that implied relationship within the games
As soon as I saw the poster, I thought there might be a romantic connotation. I think it’s cool that the animatronics get to have more of their own relationships now rather than being influenced by people/spirits. It’s also cool how you talk about the parallels with William and Henry, and the more I think about it, the more I am comparing Freddy and Bonnie’s stories in SB/Ruin to Henry and William’s stories throughout FNAF. Glamrock Freddy is probably my favorite animatronic, and it’s cool for him to have a close friend! Some wholesomeness in the middle of all the death.
First video of yours that I've seen! Can't wait to watch the rest and new ones when you make them. Also, I think your transmasc Vanny-inspired sprite is awesome. As far as my thoughts go: I think Glamrock Fronnie is true in light of Ruin's new details. Sadly, if Glamrock Fronnie is true, it would fall into the ever-popular "bury your gays" trope, which makes it more likely in my mind. Plus, like you said about earlier games, Bonnie and Freddy are made to mirror how William and Henry felt about each other, and the Silver Eyes books have a lot of talk about how William was obsessed with Henry. It fills in some puzzle pieces of William's motives to view their relationship as a doomed, one-sided romance.
i've never been into shipping culture, so this was a fun look into a part of the fandom i didn't really see -- i loved ask blogs back in the day tho lol
As someone who was 13 when the first game debuted and had only really experienced shipping culture with mlp and smash bros fics, I was v much invested in the FNaF shipping scene. I can give some insight to how a lot of us thought at the time!! See the appeal for me was literally unrelated to the dead kids part, when I shipped the animatronics (mostly Foxy and Bonnie for some reason) it was moreso about the characters themselves. It’s more like shipping Chuck e Cheese and one of his bandmates or Ronald McDonald and Grimace together, rather than the actual suits if that makes sense. The dead kids I genuinely just never cared about with shipping stuff, it was purely about Freddy and co just chilling in the pizzeria getting up to Regular Show-esc shenanigans in my mind, and they all had a fun almost family unit dynamic to me once FNaF 2 dropped. That and being a massive furry, I found the fact they were anthro animals very appealing, so any fanart I did I depicted them as the animals they were (v similar to the Fazbear and Friends shorts we got leading up to Security Breach) rather than animatronic suits. As I’ve gotten older I appreciate the horror aspect more but find the Glamrocks a happy medium since they ARE actually fully sapient beings, compared to the literal haunted robots of the first game
9:04 I actually love jermike so much, it just seems like a cute ship and there’s a lot of wholesome fanart from what I’ve seen. Also, they’re both nightguards so they can kinda relate to eachother
@@AshDrawsCatsAndDragons I know that was a joke but it really has shaped the community’s perception of Mangle’s gender. Though, I took it as more like ‘Mangle is every gender’ and not ‘Mangle doesn’t have a gender’ but I suppose it actually probably means both at the same time.
I see Funtime foxy from sisters location constantly switching genders depending on what party he would get rented to and I think lol it was potentially an animatronic to be Funtime foxy twin but willliam scraped her Mabel because it was around the time Elizabeth died
@@the.axolotlgirl I think the Mangle lore is that the kids were tearing them apart and staff just got tired of putting them back together so they just didn’t, and Mangle was originally a nickname from staff. ‘The Mangle,’ more specifically, but that works too! Either way, it’s great to see some (implied) canon representation. Your idea’s super cool too, thanks for taking the time to comment about it!
You know how corporations pretend to care during pride month and all that stuff I could totally see Fazbear entertainment do something similar in universe
I LOVE Roxica SO SO MUCH. I heavily HC them as lesbians / one of them as bi, and roxy as gay. Now, shipping the possessed dead kid animatronics is weird, and I personally just tend to not.
I wasn't a huge fan of this ship at first, I'll be completely real here, but frankly this video and a bit of my own research convinced me. Great work presenting previously untold points man! Can't wait to see what else you have in store.
You are getting better at it :) I can confirm lol and now I want it to be official it'd be an adorable ship and could add more depth to Freddy as a character ans show that theyre capable of being good and evil not just robots following code
You know, I've heard talk that Mike and Vanessa might become a thing in the movie, and I kinda like it for some reason??? Edit: This also gives way to the possibility of Vanessa and Mike both being parental figures to Abby, which is an idea that I am very normal about.
8:04 Yeah the thing with the animatronics is that in the early days we saw the animatronics as you know the animatronic characters not the children or murderer that was inside them that was mostly a non-factor but then sister location came around and wrecked everything because it introduced bigger lore and voice acting to so it was getting harder and harder to headcanon a lot of stuff especially when the lore is being reinforced by hardcored fans
Kinda wild that I never saw those 2010s animated fnaf series you mentioned despite being pretty into fnaf and around the target age at the time. Still very neat to learn more about a side of the fandom I’ve never really interacted with though!
I’ve always loved the thought of Freddy and Bonnie being best friends or being together. I’ve never actually told anyone this, because I didn’t want people to think I was weird. But I mean, come on, they’ve been close since the start. They’re quite literally attached in Sister Location! I just love how they seem to be together/best friends in Security Breach. It makes me happy.
1:19 also the new animatronics aren’t possessed at all. Although I’ve thought about the first thing you pointed out (the older models being possessed by kids) before randomly. I think it’s cool someone is finally talking about it!
At least... not YET. Honestly, i do almost hope Ruin leads into Cassie possessing Roxy, just a little. Legitimately would be *incredibly* interesting for several reasons...
@@SP_Jelly Nah *CLEARLY* i'm talking about the secret 4th Ending where Mrs Afton says "It's Mrs Aftoning time" and Mrs Afton's all over the place, and Cassie possesses Burntrap as a result :V
The fact that I didn't use to care for Freddy x Bonnie but now Glamrock Freddy x Glamrock Bonnie has me in a chokehold is sending me. This video isn't helping.
I honestly forgot about the Tony Crynight foxy mangle thing. I watched it an awhile ago, when I was very young. I distinctly remember the visual of springtrap pulling a ring out of himself, and a few other disturbing visuals of springtrap, like the ones with bugs and gore. You’ve just unearthed one of the things that gave 7 year old me nightmares. Thank you, I no longer have to wonder what it was that made me so scared of springtrap.
Personally, I adore the fact that we started have more "human" character. In the "First Era" (FNaF 1 to 3), the main focus was the horror-inspired point and click gameplay, with some lore minigames and so the character was a secondary part of the whole. And it worked. But now that we have new character, new focus, new story and etcs, is really nice to see that also the "ship" focus evolved. The only thing I really don't understand is why FNaF World, a crazy ass spin-off made for crazy ass ideas that haven't much space in the original series, wasn't use that much for shipping. I mean, we don't have child soul infestation anymore, we don't have furry serial killers anymore, only and basic RPG plot light-hearted to enjoy, and most of the people ignored it.
I’ve never been into shipping for the most part, especially in this series, but despite that I still love the idea of Glamrock Freddy and Glamrock Bonnie being in a relationship. They’re shown being extremely close to each other, plus Freddy already felt like a himbo so being in a relationship with the cool and chill Bonnie would be fitting and pretty wholesome.
7:23 S.A.M. MENTIONED!! QT’s series was my cinema back then, for sure. I genuinely loved the glow up from where it all began, and while I see the duo (Spring Bonnie & Mangle) now as more of a “Crazy Non-Binary Fox who’s possessed by an angry ahh mother (or child in the first season) at night teasing a Depressed Ahh Rabbit with a normal looking psychopath possessing him at night” thing, the story has its merits (S.A.M. episode 6 and 7 are still my favourites) and I look forward to see what episodes will come by next, especially anticipating Episode 12, even if it takes longer than the last one.
The way how the security breach portrayed their relationship makes it look like they could be a canon couple. The Problem is that they probably aren’t programmed to like each other like that. Sure they could program to love each other but probably only has a friend or family. So I don’t know. It could go either way.
Many many years ago back when people thought Bonnie was a girl in Fnaf 1, because it was the only game out, the fans shipped Freddy with Bonnie. Now here we are again, 9 years later, Freddy and Bonnie being shipped once again. Time truly is a flat circle.
this video made me realize i have a hyperfix on michael afton as when you said his name i got so excited it hurt (autism ganggang) also when you showed langa and reki
See, I'm the opinion that shipping in its own is ultimately harmless (with obvious exceptions like, y'know, illegal things) and is just for fun. A good chunk of shippers don't even expect their ship to be canon or anything, it's just cool to imagine the silly little fictional blorbos together :P I wasn't into fnaf shipping (which is surprising bc I've been here since the start and very much in the target audience but I guess mlp got all my ship thoughts instead LOL) until glamrock fronnie. A big part is that I could make "I miss my wife, tails, I miss her a lot" and "Gregory has two dads" jokes but I can't deny I love some good angst Besides, when playing ruin with my brother who is a little bit of a gamerbro, even he was all "something very lgbt is happening" when we came across glambonnie's room with the poster so there's that :P Lovely video!! You got a new subscriber :3 Also, willry is toxic doomed yaoi, and that too is yuri. No I will not explain (iykyk)
0:47 I was so excited when I saw Eda and Raine! I was sitting in a room with my friend and did my little hand flaps (I’m autistic, deal with it) and she was like “What is it?” And I said it was raeda and she just said “Hyper-fixation?” I didn’t even have to reply, she just knew
Back in the day, I didn't think shipping was all too weird since it gave the animatronics character. I always looked at it as giving the robots' programming a backstory since animatronics are meant to have stories to entertain the kids. I do get why most folks found it weird with the lore of the games. I think the most cursed ships were ones involving characters like Springtrap, that character's existence is to be a vessel for William, and Baby, with Elizabeth's sentience. However, there was one artist who did a Foxy and Springtrap ship that I did like. Anyways, every community has shipping in it, and while FNaF ships are weird, they are one of the most crucial parts of FNaF history for the fans. (I like the Freddy & Monty ship most, love that enemies to lovers trope 🤭).
I was a diehard chica x Bonnie shipper as a kid. I also watched the Tony Crynight series, which definitely contributed to that. I honestly really love the idea of Freddy and Bonnie being together, and even though I don't think it's canon, it's definitely my new headcannon
I somewhat consider myself to be a veteran in the FNAF fandom and i was there for a lot of the shipping madness. Tbh i never really thought of the shipping between the animatronics to be all that weird, like....YEAH they have dead kids in them but i always assumed that the fandom just shipped the actual CHARACTERS the animatronics represented (as in like, the actual mascot characters that exist in their own fictional world in-universe and not the animatronics created for the pizzaria if that makes sense) i never really had any strong opinion about any ship in the fandom though, the most i can say is that i VERY SLIGHTLY leaned positively towards freddy x chica though not much
imo treating canonically possessed animatronics as ghostless is probably fine, assuming you're also throwing any other dead child related plot stuff (especially if toy chica is supposed to be one of the possessed guys, cuz she was definitely intended to have some degree of sex appeal)
I like to imagine that glam-fronnie is canon. I know people will say that they’re robots, but these robots clearly have thoughts and feelings of their own. So one of them are bound to develop crushes or romantic feelings, right? 🤷 If others don’t like the ship, then that’s fine. (Unless if it’s bc of homophobia 🙄) I can see how others would see Bonnie and Freddy’s relationship as brotherly or just a platonic relationship. Great video, btw!
WAIT I STG THE GRAFFITI SCREENSHOT IS MINE FROM MY RUIN PLAYTHROUGH 😭😭😭 Great video tho, enjoyed hearing abt fnaf's past with shipping and what the current state of fronnie means
I always love the idea of glamrock freedy and Bonnie that have my fnaf 1 plush next to each other and Chica and foxy next to each other because I used to watch the shorts
@@RandumbSlice what are you living under a rock tons people especially adults collect plushes like look jadien animations, sml, and bloody RUclipsrs make their own plushes or merchandise. It's not like I played with them but I placed them into a way to remember the fnaf ships. No problem in that. And for the record im 18 and am in college.
Glamrock Fronnie is the only FNaF ship I actively say "I ship it" to. It just works for me, and that's coming from someone who never really engaged in the shipping side of the community for the longest time. Even if it's not canon to actual FNaF lore, I'm writing a slice of life AU where it's basically "what I want to be canon is canon FU", so it's going in there (still working on how Ruin fits into the AU but I know that I want it to be in there to some degree). Now, I do draw the line in some places. I don't think it's a good idea for a human to be in a romantic relation with a robot, and I like to leave William out of things (sorry Springtrap, I'm not helping you get laid). The children are also left out of ships for very notable reasons, and no incest either. I also do separate the ghost from the character they possess even if I DON'T ship it, simply so it's a best case scenario (look I try to think positive and not get a bunch of younger children in trouble). So really Glamrock Fronnie kinda leaves all those boxes unchecked since one of the characters is not possessed, and while we don't have a confirmation on the other any ghost would assumedly be an adult based on most theories (and even then I still separate the ghost from the animatronic so that doesn't count either). Plus these guys have actual personalities and emotions, so it could absolutely happen. Pair that with what we see in Bonnie's room in Ruin and we get me finally finding a ship that I genuinely validate. Also since GlamMike is a popular theory the Jeremike ship got a resurgence. It's funny how this is slowly cascading from bear and rabbit robots getting together to "is this guy who may or may not be possessing one of the two gay robots ALSO gay?" and I love it

I'm interested to see what this will spell out for them both in the future.
barely read anything but agreed 👍
The only thing I have to point out is that it was said (I think in that character book) that Roxy’s issues with self esteem actually was programmed into her, my guess is to make her more authentic, since she is meant to be a superstar and interact with kids all day, and if she isn’t made human enough, then she won’t serve as a good idol. With that in mind, I believe they were programmed to feel just enough that they can experience unintended emotions as a byproduct.
Congrats Glamrock Bonnie to be the first animatronic to discover homosexuality. Extremely proud of him
I’d love to see a video on the designs of the animatronics over the years and why they have such effective designs. You mentioning studying character design makes me think you can give some more unique perspective and takes on the designs 🧡

It's not stupid!!! I feel the same way about shipping the robots
Remember if you ship a fnaf character only ship the animatronic not the soul
that's so funny because i still see spring and springtrap as two different beings lol
I don't care if it's romantic or platonic. Either way it's a really sad end of beautiful relationship
I always loved Mangle, and Funtime Foxy, and Lolbit. Back before I actually started realizing why I liked them so much, I used to imagine being springlocked inside one of them, and getting to be one of them. It was always such a fun idea to me but I never knew why.

This ship is responsible for most of my original stories and characters because of how many AUs I’d give to these two
Canon shop or not, I love these little details they’ve given us in Security Breach. The moments are short, but they speak volumes to a deep bond and connection, and even if it’s platonic, it’s still a sweet and sad story
Also, yes, the Tony Crynight series was definitely that Fnaf Twilight 😅.
FR❤❤❤
In their defence for the “bury your gays” thing FNaF buries (and burns, and scoops, and murders) most of their characters.
i've never been into shipping culture, so this was a fun look into a part of the fandom i didn't really see -- i loved ask blogs back in the day tho lol

Yeah the thing with the animatronics is that in the early days we saw the animatronics as you know the animatronic characters not the children or murderer that was inside them that was mostly a non-factor but then sister location came around and wrecked everything because it introduced bigger lore and voice acting to so it was getting harder and harder to headcanon a lot of stuff especially when the lore is being reinforced by hardcored fans

I keep hearing the Two Trucks tune in the background music of the early ships 💀
Please, now I have that in my head 😭
Two trucks having
Not to mention bears and bunnies are terms to describe gay men
I want Freddy fazbear to do my taxes
i dont really engage in the shiping part but it would be so funny if bonnie and freddy were gay lovers, and I live for it.
i suddenly need to draw glamrock fronnie fanart of freddy calling bonnie his superstar what have you done to me
the way that you used 3 diff pronouns for mangle makes me so incredibly happy like you have no idea
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU USE ALL 3 IN THE SAME SENTENCE AAAHH!!!! I FEEL SO VALIDATED!!!
I like the pronoun switches you use on mangle because nobody knows what they really are also the books do that
18:40 I LOVE THE HEARTSTOPPER INCLUSION AND THE SK8 ate that up
0:53 the way my jaw dropped seeing FlowerPop is unreal

@@quinnamon OH MY GOD I DIDN'T EXPECT YOU TO REPLY???? IM LITTEARLY BINGEE WATCHING ALL UR VIDEOS RN,LOVE YOUR CONTENT BTW ^^
"giving him the most iconic look that we all know and love her for" is the most mangle thing i've ever heard and i love it
The fact that Tony Crynight predicted the digital consciousness transferring is wild to me
I DID NOT EXPECT THE WILLRY MENTION. YOU HAVE TASTE!!!! I WAS NODDING AT MY SCREEN LETS GO TOXIC CODEPENDENT OLD MAN YAOI!!!
Im pretty guilty with shipping animatronics back in 2018 and I have basically outgrown that kinda stuff haha.
MICHAEL AFTON AUTISM GANG ! !! ! ! ! also is ur pfp jack…
"Giving him the iconic look we know and love her for" I love dialogue like this
Honestly the old ship videos are so silly, like *I* legit made one(when I was nine). I personally find them stupid, but in such an endearing way
See, I'm the opinion that shipping in its own is ultimately harmless (with obvious exceptions like, y'know, illegal things) and is just for fun. A good chunk of shippers don't even expect their ship to be canon or anything, it's just cool to imagine the silly little fictional blorbos together :P
I wasn't into fnaf shipping (which is surprising bc I've been here since the start and very much in the target audience but I guess mlp got all my ship thoughts instead LOL) until glamrock fronnie. A big part is that I could make "I miss my wife, tails, I miss her a lot" and "Gregory has two dads" jokes but I can't deny I love some good angst
Besides, when playing ruin with my brother who is a little bit of a gamerbro, even he was all "something very lgbt is happening" when we came across glambonnie's room with the poster so there's that :P
Lovely video!! You got a new subscriber :3 Also, willry is toxic doomed yaoi, and that too is yuri. No I will not explain (iykyk)
cannot believe the most straightforward lore in this entire hell franchise proves gay robots- this series man❤️
"this was like Twilight for us"TRUE
I cant belive how weird we were all back in the day
0:47 I was so excited when I saw Eda and Raine! I was sitting in a room with my friend and did my little hand flaps (I’m autistic, deal with it) and she was like “What is it?” And I said it was raeda and she just said “Hyper-fixation?” I didn’t even have to reply, she just knew
You’re really improving with the video quality and confidence in talking. Great job
0:45 HOLY FUGHGZRK I wasn't expecting my favourite little goobers to be here
live laugh love raeda
Real
18:45 OMGA IS THAT AN OBJECT SHOW?
Nothing like marrying your boyfriend's murderer, am I right
I was a diehard chica x Bonnie shipper as a kid. I also watched the Tony Crynight series, which definitely contributed to that. I honestly really love the idea of Freddy and Bonnie being together, and even though I don't think it's canon, it's definitely my new headcannon
Bro William x Henry is like the Hornet x Lace of fnaf.
“Hey I’m gonna kill you”
“Hey I’m gonna kiss you”
“…”
And i love it
Am I the only one that thinks that in ultimate custom night fnaf 1 foxy and Bonnie are confirmed to be a cannon thing?
i love how this video came out as i am creating a Bonnie x Freddy animatic
Quinn, we NEED a place to download your memes. Please.
Pause and screenshot
Also the Vanny talksprite with top surgery scars? Fucking chefs kiss that goes so hard
When I ship the characters, I ship the animatronics, NOT the dead kids
Guys the fanaf dating sim… guys the FANAF DATING SIM…. GUYS THE FANAF DATING SIM
(I went down the rabbit hole and had terrible flashbacks)
I somewhat consider myself to be a veteran in the FNAF fandom and i was there for a lot of the shipping madness. Tbh i never really thought of the shipping between the animatronics to be all that weird, like....YEAH they have dead kids in them but i always assumed that the fandom just shipped the actual CHARACTERS the animatronics represented (as in like, the actual mascot characters that exist in their own fictional world in-universe and not the animatronics created for the pizzaria if that makes sense) i never really had any strong opinion about any ship in the fandom though, the most i can say is that i VERY SLIGHTLY leaned positively towards freddy x chica though not much
imo treating canonically possessed animatronics as ghostless is probably fine, assuming you're also throwing any other dead child related plot stuff (especially if toy chica is supposed to be one of the possessed guys, cuz she was definitely intended to have some degree of sex appeal)
thank you queenamon for this PEAK video once again always PEAKING and SLAYING 💪💪
I like to imagine that glam-fronnie is canon. I know people will say that they’re robots, but these robots clearly have thoughts and feelings of their own. So one of them are bound to develop crushes or romantic feelings, right? 🤷
If others don’t like the ship, then that’s fine. (Unless if it’s bc of homophobia 🙄) I can see how others would see Bonnie and Freddy’s relationship as brotherly or just a platonic relationship.
Great video, btw!
WAIT I STG THE GRAFFITI SCREENSHOT IS MINE FROM MY RUIN PLAYTHROUGH 😭😭😭
Great video tho, enjoyed hearing abt fnaf's past with shipping and what the current state of fronnie means
🎵...anything but lovers, history hates lovers🎵
I always love the idea of glamrock freedy and Bonnie that have my fnaf 1 plush next to each other and Chica and foxy next to each other because I used to watch the shorts
@@crystalgaming1185 what are you, three years old
@@RandumbSlice what are you living under a rock tons people especially adults collect plushes like look jadien animations, sml, and bloody RUclipsrs make their own plushes or merchandise. It's not like I played with them but I placed them into a way to remember the fnaf ships. No problem in that. And for the record im 18 and am in college.
@@crystalgaming1185 no its a response towards the fetus like behaviour dumbass
It's funny how this is slowly cascading from bear and rabbit robots getting together to "is this guy who may or may not be possessing one of the two gay robots ALSO gay?" and I love it
FINALLY someone makes a video abt this. really felt my mental illness trying to explain fnaf shipping culture to my friends
