People didnt care if he didnt like ruin or not, it was the fact that during his playthrough he barely payed attention and was shitting on it from the very beginning.He went out of his was to shit on it when he could have just avoided playing it but since he had to keep up his "edgy persona" he decided to play it. Again nothing wrong with not liking it but it was very obvious he was just trying to be a contrarian. A 17 year old then decided to make a joke saying that Fnaf+ would be even more boring, which lead to several phisnom fans sending the 17 year old gore and suicide videos, phisnom then proceeds to joke about it and act like it didnt even happen and didnt apologize til much later when he realized he fucked up. Phis was always very up front about his attitude and opinions on the current state of FNAF, from what I gather he didn't have interest in Ruin since he already didn't like security breach but generally since the idea for Ruin was "If you didn't like SB you might like this" he felt obligated to take a look at it. And unfortunately it still was not for him and it wasn't the case that it fixed any issues or reassured him. It sucks that the whole thing turned into harassment, but the social media shitstorm that followed and was started by people who decided to lambast Phis and be extremely petty when all he did was play up his dull experience with the game for entertainment on stream absolutely did not need to happen. If people didn't like it they should have left and ignored him from then on, not start twitter drama that was inevitably going to become absolutely toxic. So no the situation wasn't misrepresented, quinn gave their opinion and understanding of it in a video that was going over multiple other things. If this video was solely dedicated to that drama then sure you could argue it seemed to leave a lot of deeper information out but that's not the point of a video like this. I hate how a lot of content creators cover things I like, even ones I enjoy watching, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna start shit talking them online openly and starting big fights over it when most people should know by now how fanbases are and especially how arguments go on twitter. I work at a movie theater and started at the beginning of October, so I had the wonderful experience of working opening weekend for the FNaF movie. I did get to see the movie at midnight of the 26th since my theater did an early employee screening, which was really cool, but watching it in a packed theater on the night of the 27th was an even better experience than seeing it for the first time. Everybody cheered for the big moments, and I have to shout out this one guy who said "LET'S GOO!!!" and opted people to start clapping when the aunt died. I will never forget that

He wasn't fired, he chose to stop working on the game after this situation because he lost passion for fnaf long ago. The minor themselves started a lot of this drama on twitter and rallied a bunch of other riled up people who turned the whole thing into shitting on Phis because he was bored and took the piss out of ruin for entertainment while playing it on stream. Fans of his only got angry after seeing tons of people on twitter saying shit about Phis then decided to bite back, as basically any fanbase does. And yeah most of them unfortunately took it too far, but Phis himself was disconnected from it and only had a vague understanding when more people started prodding him to address it without actually attempting to communicate the severity of it to him or even explain anything, just demanding he reel people in. He only actually understood what happened AFTER he had joked about it and his actual friends told him it was more serious. After that he tried to steer the focus away from anyone else and told his fans (still a bit jokingly) that they should only be acting toxic towards him not other people. (Again, it's his channel's bit and he's always made it clear to his fanbase they shouldn't weaponize that attitude.) Either way, yeah the situation was a mess and Phis could have handled it better, but considering his time on the internet is what pushed him into embracing the "toxic" label to begin with it's pretty easy to become desensitized and assume anything on twitter is just dumb drama that'll fade away in a day, especially over a linear expansion to a fnaf game seemingly very few people actually liked. Also as for the comment regarding scott not wanting to "be associated with someone who'd show gore to kids" besides the fact that again he himself didn't do that or encourage it, the artist for many fnaf novels LadyFiszi has been openly transphobic, written fanfictions that involve pedophilia and sexual assault, grooming in the past, was accused of tracing art, and even has been seen glorifying Nazism and Fascism. And Scott Cawthon only fired her recently in February 2023 so yeah, no Phis is hardly the worst person who has been associated with FNAF in any official capacity and Scott has made plenty of poor decisions on who he entrusts branches of the brand to.

Man, thank god I saw the fnaf movie in VIP which is an 18+ showing so there weren't any kids. Just kids at heart. Most memorable part of me was the guys sitting behind us that screamed in terror each time there was a balloon boy jumpscare which at the last one he said "i HATE that balloon guy!"
For the Roblox game, this is why Scott just needs to do a deal with dbd so they can make something legit not to mention the skins they can give to other killers like VANNY AS LEGION??? I'd LOVE that and buy it in a heartbeat.

I work at a movie theater and started at the beginning of October, so I had the wonderful experience of working opening weekend for the FNaF movie. I did get to see the movie at midnight of the 26th since my theater did an early employee screening, which was really cool, but watching it in a packed theater on the night of the 27th was an even better experience than seeing it for the first time. Everybody cheered for the big moments, and I have to shout out this one guy who said "LET'S GOO!!!" and opted people to start clapping when the aunt died. I will never forget that

The minor themselves started a lot of this drama on twitter and rallied a bunch of other riled up people who turned the whole thing into shitting on Phis because he was bored and took the piss out of ruin for entertainment while playing it on stream.
Fans of his only got angry after seeing tons of people on twitter saying shit about Phis then decided to bite back, as basically any fanbase does. And yeah most of them unfortunately took it too far, but Phis himself was disconnected from it and only had a vague understanding when more people started prodding him to address it without actually attempting to communicate the severity of it to him or even explain anything, just demanding he reel people in. He only actually understood what happened AFTER he had joked about it and his actual friends told him it was more serious. After that he tried to steer the focus away from anyone else and told his fans (still a bit jokingly) that they should only be acting toxic towards him not other people. (Again, it's his channel's bit and he's always made it clear to his fanbase they shouldn't weaponize that attitude.)
Either way, yeah the situation was a mess and Phis could have handled it better, but considering his time on the internet is what pushed him into embracing the "toxic" label to begin with it's pretty easy to become desensitized and assume anything on twitter is just dumb drama that'll fade away in a day, especially over a linear expansion to a fnaf game seemingly very few people actually liked.
Also as for the comment regarding scott not wanting to "be associated with someone who'd show gore to kids" besides the fact that again he himself didn't do that or encourage it, the artist for many fnaf novels LadyFiszi has been openly transphobic, written fanfictions that involve pedophilia and sexual assault, grooming in the past, was accused of tracing art, and even has been seen glorifying Nazism and Fascism.
And Scott Cawthon only fired her recently in February 2023 so yeah, no Phis is hardly the worst person who has been associated with FNAF in any official capacity and Scott has made plenty of poor decisions on who he entrusts branches of the brand to.
I just have to say it. I watched the movie at home with family and when I saw matpat I yelled "MATPATERSON" and stood up in shock

This movie in the theater was fucking crazy as shit, me and my friend got dropped off in the amc where it was being shown, when we entered the theater itself ppl had a fucking brawl where the tickets were being sold these mfs were throwing popcorn and Hershey's bars everywhere, they proceeded to get kicked out and we got FREE TICKETS FOR THE MOVIE AND SNACKS FOR THE DURATION OF THE MOVIE BECAUSE OF THE FIGHT, at this point me and my homie were hype asf and we finally started to watch the movie, midway through when the girl gets chomped by freddy this fetus in the back starts crying and this guy starts going ape shit at the kid and threw a soda at the damn thing, when the movie was over everyone in there started to jam tf out to the end song, in conclusion 10/10 movie experience

I work at a theater, and when the FNAF Movie released I was honestly really happy, I got to meet people who shared to same intrest in FNAF as me. I grew up with FNAF and to see people who grew with it too. Thank you Scott and Blumhouse for the Movie.

I personally think the reason people confuse the title as Friday Night at Freddy's is a mix of two things- the horror genre of both the game and Friday the 13th, and Friday Night Funkin'. Both are popular games and are abbreviated to FNAF and FNF, which can lead to some people accidentally combining titles.
