She's been carrying me since I got her on my very first ten pull on the beginner's banner, I can't imagine playing this game or doing Abyss without her. With these banners I finally managed to get her from c2 to 6, and she's a beast. Her and Yoimiya are so fun to play together, they're a perfect match. Little tip for playing her with Bennett: Bennett buff activates a second after the character is on the field, and Beidou's burst snapshots at the beginning of the animation, not at the end like other characters. It means that when u switch to her inside of Benny's burst, you should use her skill first, so she'll get the buff and then the ult. If you ult right away, she'll snapshot without buff.
@@silvercrow5108 4 pieces emblem with serpent spine, 69/ 177 crit with 210% er. I use an er sands because I run her with Bennett so she gets 1k atk from snapshotting the ult. I'm using an atk goblet because she ascends wit electro dmg, and Kazuha with 820 em gives her another 33% electro bonus. I'm using er sands because she's the only electro in the team, plus having 200+ er with emblem set gives u a 50% damage increase on the ult
Pro tip: When using Bennett burst to snapshot, wait a sec before using Beidou burst. Bennett buff is applied in a tick same time as it's heal, so you must wait until you got the tick otherwise your burst won't get the buff for the entire duration. I usually use Beidou elemental skill while waiting.
@@sunlightmarc Beidou's ult is great for Raiden's downtime. And it lowers electro res, so if you time it right you can get extra dmg on that big initial slash from Raiden's burst
I remember when beidou was released more than a year ago and people were theory crafting that her E could hit more than 20k with the right setup, and people were shitting on her Q btw, now its the opposit, people love her Q and doesnt care too much abouth her E, and we cant forget that now with the right setup we can hit hundreds of thousands of damage, and it makes it funny to remember watching that videos of people hitting 30k with beidou E and people going insane, we were such a innocent child at that time XD
I brought her off the bench yesterday and she got me my first 36*, this is the time for it! Each chamber has one side with 2+ mobs to really let her shine.
I’ve been leveling her up these past two days, and it’s always a slow grind for me but she’s already hitting very solid damage with low talents and wack artifacts. Once I optimize her, I won’t need to rely on pulling Raiden soon for my Eula comp! I just want that Superconduct, and it just so happens that Beidou also does a ridiculous amount of damage off-field at the same time :)
@@cocogoat1238 wolf's gravestone, emblem set, ER/electro/crit rate. If you don't have a crazy attack weapon I'd try to run her with an attack sands and get ER from substats plus electro resonance, my current build has her running without a battery so she needs more ER.
She's probably my most played 4 star and really love everything about her from design to lore to kit. I pair her with Kokomo everytime and it's so much fun. I hope they'll give her some more dedicated screen time in future updates.
To utilize Beidou's C6 you need to actually get close to the enemy, which is great for Childe but can be quite a scam for Yoimiya since she's a ranged dps
I've been trying out more non-national 4-star teams recently and have found I quite enjoy Razor / C2 Beidou / C6 Rosaria. Fourth slot varies; I like Xingqiu if he's not being used in the national team or Diona for more superconducts, heals, cryo battery and shielding. It won't get me full-star abyss clears, but the synergies are a lot of fun.
I did some testing at Masanori WL8 and Blackcliff hits harder at 0 stacks than Serpent spine at 5. Both weapons were R1 when testing and with the same artifacts. Just a little note for anyone trying to build beidou, if you dont want to spend money save up the starglitter and get the Blackcliff, also its her signature weapon so thats a bonus too
She often hits 30-60k on her parries (depending on the enemy) and I don't even have proper artifact sets on her, which is insane. She'll only get stronger with more constellations and better artifacts, which is crazy imo since mine's also isn't C6 yet
The issue is AOE and multi-target damage seems to be meaningless in the Spiral Abyss now. You have to chase down a bunch of mobs that are evenly spaced around the arena or a single boss that bounces around like Sonic the Hedgehog on crack.
You just need to run an Anemo unit... Venti/Kaz/Sucrose. Me personally i run Beidou Fischl Kaz Barbara where there is 0 grouping issues and is absolutely amazing for AoE purposes. With Barbara TTDS and Tenacity4p with fish on 2pTf & 2pGlad and Beidou on 4pEoSF i'm very easily able to get through most of anything in the game. Only place i have issues with this team is Floor 11 Chamber 3 2nd Half (for obv reasons) + Floor 12 Chamber 2 2nd Half where not having a pyro/cryo character makes it take too long to finish on time. Everywhere else this team works wonders and in general any sort of Beidou team would. (I run national on the other teams so i tend to keep Xinqiu,Benny away from other teams.)
@@jentheweeb pyro doesnt actually hurt heralds much from my experience. you gotta use cryo. i was able to clear it with taser but it was definitely a struggle. then again i always struggle agaisnt heralds so idk
Glad you mentioned the Beidou/Xingqiu/Fischl/Bennett team! Been playing since launch, and this is still my go to Beidou squad, even in Abyss 12. For a team with no 5*s, i was able to 3 star this current abyss 12-3 magu kenki with it
I still remember I was gonna pick Beidou last lantern rite but I was impatient to wait for the event to come out so I bought her off the starglitter shop and roll on the banners, and also picked her as the free 4 star. She was my main DPS back then and will always have a special place in my heart. She always has her own artifact set and weapon so she's ready to go.
You did say a few times that her ER needs are blown out of proportion and whle I agree that they are if she's built and played in a way you outlined in this video the community is also kind if right on this one. The reason is that Beidou does have a pretty high skill floor. For example, you enlightened me on how the perfect counter works just now. Now add to this the fact that the overwhelming majority of players use unoptimized setups, be it team comps, talents, constellations, weapons or artefacts (i think this one is the main problem) and you can see how she got her reputation. Most people spend all the resin they have to farm materials and have to make do with sub-par artefacts on just about every unit they own except ther one or two main dps. If your team comp, talent level, weapon choice and artefacts are all more or less suboptimal then of course you'll struggle to make do. I am a returning player who just started to get back into genshin in mid december. I main Noelle and have sunked around 2500 resin into trying to get a Husk set to replace the old gladiator i have on her... I haven't even seen a single def sands, geo dmg goblet or crit rate head piece. i finally got a crit dmg head piece today but the sub stats are trash. by the looks of it i'll have to spend around 8.000 resin just to get a set for her together that has some proper main and sub stats. If we assume i spend half my daily resin on Farming artefacts for her I'll be at it until around april. Even if we assume i am getting very unlucky and cut the entire calculatino in half it's still 2 months of mnon stop farming for a single character. And even if we assume that Beidou is quite lenient when itcomes to her stat requirements and cut it in half again we're still looking at a month, or 2 weeks of non stop farming for her if we were to pour all of our avaliable 160 daily resin into her. It truly is an impossible task for f2p/low spenders. Sorry for my rant, it went kinda off topic but i had to get it out of my system. I did learn a lot from this guide and I have no doubt it'll provide very useful once I get around to optimizing my beidou. it's just that... well, it may take a long, long time. Until then, the struggle is real when it comes to her burst uptime.
I mean... she has a little conditions, one of them being some brain cells to play her/her team. She is just broken in 2-target situations and her damage/multipliers are so high even 5-star characters jealous of them :). She is STILL underrated af so thank you Mr. Braxophone for an educational video
My beidou is C6 which happened 2 weeks ago.. and I'm glad to know that I watched this video! Although I knew almost all of those things mentioned in this video.. but I didn't knew she's so useful for my spiral abyss.. I haven't even tried her yet.. multiple enemies & counter attacks.. bro piece of cake ❤
Instead of Tartaglia, you can use Yanfei if you enjoy Overload and cant really use hydro for a fight. She hits very fast and with constellations she's always got stamina and her burst
i love beidou sm, i recently began to dig her play-style and just AHHHHH-- I recently got her to c6 (finally!) and I have her almost to lvl 80- she is my main focus to build now and.. i believe in beidou supremacy :D
I might get shot down for saying this, but I been using the Inazuma Claymore on her. Really good ER. It's working very well so far. I'm like a ton of players who've grinded the Emblem domain to the edge of sanity, lol. And I have a few ridiculous Emblem sets but they're already on other characters. So while I'm farming here and there for another Emblem set, the Inazuma Claymore has been invaluable. I know I've been on so many channel comments saying Serpent Spine all the way, and I fkng love that Claymore. But until I can land a decent set, the Inazuma weapon is helping me through. And its easy to get as most of y'all know.
Sac sword works BEAUTIFULLY with her! Two perfect counters, lotsa damage. And energy recharge helped a lot too. I can’t imagine using anything else on her anymore TBH.
@@imo098765 To be fair I've never even tried anoy other sword on her just due to how much I appreciate double perfect counters back-to-back. And I don't exactly have a staple of great sword options to draw upon for her anyway... For me it's always a little bit of a difficult equation: Less uptime on burst with greater damage versus almsot 100% uptime and lesser damage. Which the sac sword helps with, of course.
In my experience, I think Barbara and kokomi are really good enabler for her in electro charged teams. I put her in a team with Barbara, Fischl, and Sucrose. And I could proc ec most of the time because Barbara and kokomi's normal attacks are pretty fast. Very good for aoe and cc, and has a healer which is always nice.
one setup ive used for awhile now on beidou is C4 with thundering fury in a electro charge as her being the main DPS, the fact she can trigger elemental reaction without a skill allows her to have counter up every 4ish seconds
Recently got her c6 and since my Eula and Hu Tao are too strong for overworld content, I've started using her as my main. She's so much fun to play and I love her design and personality. She was also the first dps character I got at the start.
My f2p Beidou max counter damage were 93k - ( with the help of Bennett & Zhongly shield ). She's no joke. and she''s the only character that keep me from getting bored of the game -.0

As a Beidou main since the very first month Genshin came out... Diona is my favorite character to pair with a main dps Beidou. And Yanfei with Beidou support is much like Yoimiya for players who don't have her. Yanfei's attacks can go surprisingly far and does many explosions thanks to her passive where her crits cause extra pyro damage, really blasting off those overload reactions if built correctly.
I'm planning on a Mona, Beidou, Kazuha and Jean team. Mona as an on-field DPS, Beidou off-field damage, kazuha swirls and Jean burst healing. I don't have Kazuha yet and will pull him on his rerun.
I have been using Beidou (2 piece Thundering Fury, 2 pc Emblem) as a main DPS, then Rosaria (Blizzard Strayer), Zhongli (Tenacity of the Millieth), and Bennet ( 2pc Crimson, and 2 piece Emblem)

It's one of the most comprehensive ones I've seen for Beidou, I'm always surprised how many players don't understand how Beidou's kit works but I guess that's just how misinfo goes on the internet Edit: you probably already know this but Sucrose taser is an amazing team as well, Sucrose Beidou Fischl and Xingqiu is a good setup and very f2p friendly!
Beidou was my first c6, don't remember what banner it was but they literally just dropped her constellations in my lap back when she was just considered a fun gimmicky character who hadn't come into her own yet.
I used to run Raiden with my Yoimiya team because...archon and money spent, but now I realized that Beidou is actually a better option for her, so now I run Yoimiya, Beidou, Jun Yin and either Bennet or Xingqiu, altho Beidou is my flex depending on if I figthing a single boss or a group of enemies.
Beidou is the first among my absolute favorite units in this game, and the first 4* I pulled that, obviously, isn't Noelle (since she's guaranteed). Not only is she an S+ tier designed character with a dope af personality, but she combines my two favorite essential traits of any character in this game... Electro and Claymore. However, I haven't had a reason to use her in awhile. Obviously, a lot of characters have come out, and I have a LOT of favorites, but I can always rely on Beidou when I get bored. Physical DPS Beidou is a lot of fun.
beidou is one of my absolute favourites!! my main team is hu tao, beidou, kaeya and kokomi which probably sounds random as hell but i promise it works.. for me at least
I use Beidou with Fischl, Kaeya, and main dps Xinyan. I just love using physical damage carries and the consistent superconduct feels really great for the team. I will switch Fischl out for Bennett if he’s not in use
I main Beidou, couple of team variants you can try: For the Childe/Fischl team, run Jean over Benny. Shred from VV, heals, Jean can also stay on field if Childe's E is ever down too long. I don't have Zhongli so I've found running Noelle in the the Beidou/Ning team combo is legit. With a built Noelle, maybe Raiden or Sara as a fourth, Noelle with Beidou ult on her can explode anything that has 2 or more enemies REAL fast. Also just running 180 ER and using her solo with SF emblem set works great in most circumstances, or using her with Raiden and another driver and very little ER is totally viable, even if their ults can't combo for whatever reason.
I've always liked Beidou, and somehow I have yet to build her properly, which makes me somewhat guilty. I really love that Yoimiya team, she's my fav also but I missed her banner.. So keen to pull her on her rerun!
Usually run Beidou with my Eula/Raiden team for abyss if it's a mobbing floor. Also run her with Qiqi driver in the husk/clam domain along with Fischl and Xingqiu and they pretty consistently clear the domain and refund bursts in a single rotation. She definitely gets things done when given appropriate investment.
i love using Childe, Raiden, Beidou and a healer/shielder. i start with raiden E, beidou ult+e, swap to Childe and use his E until beidou burst is over, then i swap to Raiden and use her burst, then back to Beidou ult and Childe E. the dmg is soo nice and its a lot of fun (Beidou is C6 tho and Childe is C2). i really hope Yelan would be a good Childe replacement
The limited banners have this thing where they put you on a streak with ONE out of the three rate ups. Beidou has been my streaker on Zhongli’s rerun and I’m so happy to finally have her C1 & C2!!!
I have been playing her totally focused in Atk and ER as second option since I pulled Skyward Claymore. 2 pieces Gladiator and 2 pieces Shimenawa for 36% Atk and Atk Goblet, she is one of the most balanced characters and she hits so hard even if at the start I thought she wouldn't because she has no crit, but constant mixed damage with burst availability and easy superconduct makes her so strong with 3300 Atk without buffs.
Yes the skyward claymore its just amazing , its the only 5 star weapon i got but im happy that helps my main beidou. Every from software games fan should play her
friendly tip, you say you only have 4 team slots??? there are 10, you just need to look bottom left and add another press up to edit team names on PS5 and then there is a option to add or disband teams. on your screen look top left and hit that edit button it will give you names and 10 slots on PC ,you can not disband the original 4 just so there is no mix up. it also gives you a different view to compare the teams better as well. thanks for making these videos they are amazing and well organized
Excelent video!!! Currently, I am building my Beidou, and I saw Favonius greatsword is a great option for her, since the artifact building considers optimaze crit rate, takes advantage of that and makes her independent from another electro in team composition. So, if someone has the weapon or wants to give a try to this option, hope it goes as well as me.
Hey Braxophone, have you tried the ER Claymore from Inazuma? Refined, her energy generation seems pretty much huge, so that you can go for an ATK sand. Im just not sure about the Crit loss from the Serpent's spine. I have to do some tests...
My favorite team actually includes Raiden and Beidou together, although I don't actually use them at the same time often. It includes Raiden, Kazuha, Xingqiu and Counter-Spam Beidou (equipped with Full-Thundering Fury set). She's C6, so running her with Kazuha's buffs and burst + Xingqiu Burst + Raiden E makes her counter dmg go through the roof, and actually come back a lot faster, due to Thundering Fury 4-piece set effects and the whole electro-charged situation. Raiden also gets the same setup whenever Beidou's downtime, so getting some energy back is not a problem. It's a pretty fun team on my opinion and works wonders with most situations, both for bosses and groups of small mobs. Although Thundersoother might also be a good pick, in exchange of Thundering Fury CD reducing capabilities...

That team is actually pretty popular, and goes by the name of "Sucrose Taser" I totally recommend building Beidou, then.
I actually run a Beidou; Xiangling; Chongyun; Xingqiu team. Now, if Kazuha gets a rerun, Idk who I'd swap him out for if I actually swap one of them out, because I REALLY want his elemental swirls.
I run 2NO+2TF and akuoumaru. My most OP electro-charged team I've used was Childe, Raiden, Beidou and Barbara (using TToDS and Clam). It's pretty much burst spam team with amazing AOE, Beidou alone does 16k dmg with ulti
Using Beidou with Fischl, Nahida and Yaoyao. So it's an aggravate / Spread team. I must say, Beidou's burst is almost always ready because of fischl, and with Nahida the damage goes more crazy. Yeah i use Beidou off field and very effective with Nahida who i fed so much EM 😂. My Nahida is the main driver so over all Beidou is really worth it. Electro reso and Dendro Reso just works. With Baizhu on the way, maybe Beidou will take main drive and Nahida as support or sub DPS... I dunno I'll figure it out 😂 coz I'm new on this game.
I’m surprised that the craftable claymore from inazuma wasn’t mentioned. It has an ER main stat and the passive increases skill damage and funnels energy back into her so you can go full dmg with her artifacts. Not the best for main dps beidou but for electro support/sub dps it’s a solid FTP option
I run that claymore with 2pc shim 2pc noblesse 8/11/11 each full counter hits about 29k then ult around 7k with the fish claymore around 33 full counter and 8500++ ult 62% 162%

Outside of Lisa and Electro Traveler, Beidou's my only electro character and I love playing the almighty pirate mommy so forcing myself to learn how to use her in a comp with Eula has been fun! I run Beidou, Eula, Benny and Rosaria/Shenhe. Whacky fun times to say the least!
Mami Beidou is my all time favourite character to play. No matter what, she will always be in my team (because I build her as my main dps) like I got excited that I finally got Ei, Xiao and Zhongli but nothing compares to my pirate mami. Literally the first character I levelled up to 90 and refined her weapon till 90 and lvl 5 because she deserves the best ✨ (still slowly trying to triple crown her heh) Also I finally got C6 🥲💜
I've been using booba pirate since i started playing GI ( Tartaglia Banner ) n together with my first 5* which is Keqing ( yes i lost 50/50 ) together with xingciu n rosaria i can do every content comfortably... I'm on c4 now n hope i can c6 her before this banner end 😁
I use Beidou alongside a main-DPS bubble Qiqi because the aoe damage there is huge. Qiqi's skill lasts a long time, and when paired with Beidou's burst I can have superconduct active to keep those bubble pops strong. Qiqi also has very fast attack animations which helps with sending out Beidou's burst charges. If I can use Xingqiu (and he's not busy on another team), I like to have him there too so that freeze, electrocharge, and superconduct are all available. Great setup for AOE damage.
On the note about team slots..when you are ready to move onto the next team just say “and the next team we’re going to talk about is” then don’t say anything, make the next team, “character x y z comp” and just cut the bit out where you made the new team and didn’t say anything
Some quick maths shows why Beidou is extremely ridiculous! If you are fighting at least two enemies, with a C2 Beidou and a talent level 8 burst, you burst will deal 195% on activation, plus each hit bouncing 5 times is 153.5%*5=767.5%, plus getting 10 hits off over the duration of her ult (10 sec duration, 1 activation per second) - her total damage during her burst is 195+(767.5 x 10) = 7870%! It is safe to say that not many characters in Genshin deal 7870% damage with one ability 🤯🤯🤯

In a hypothetical situation, if I use Skyward Pride and 4 piece ESF would that be better then using the battlepass greatsword with 2 piece thunder fury and noblese (with great sub stats) or would those two situations even out?
My first C6. Badass mother. Coincidentally I got Xingqiu around the same time and I was frequently "training" them together and wow they synergise so well. Eventually got Sucrose and it's magical.
Lol with the Skyward Pride sword (36.8 Energy Regarge substat) and Emblem with ER sands, I have my beidou at like 230% ER. Her burst is up almost whenever I need it.
I use your first suggested team (Tartaglia/Fischl/Bennett), and call it "Pocket Shock It". Meanwhile Yoimiya is my co-op all-star and I think I'll pair Beidou with her more often going forward.
Why didn't you mention Venti in the team comps section? Unloading Beidou and Xingqiu's ult into Venti's ult is the most satisfying thing in the game. You can use Venti for it with his fast attack OR any other bow or catalyst user. My first experience with that was Ningguong (was finish Xingqiu/Beidou to 10 when I got Ningguong and Venti) but I enjoy it with Yanfei more since you want her autoattacking some anyway. Or you can just use Diona for her shield/cryo/heal/EM. Or anybody really. Raiden works great since she can be off-field with Beidou/Xingiu during Venti's ult and then she gets her moment of dps and it is back to the Venti show.
she's the first dps and character that i got when i started genshin..And the fact that my birthday is on 13 th feb and hers on 14th feb make me feel like we're soulmate.
one thing u forgot to mention was that not only can u press at the right moment but u can hold her skill and release at the right moment for her perfect counter
Another good team I used is Eula/Beidou/Raiden/ Kokomi. Raiden can boost ult damage,battery the team and provide super conduct for Eula. Beidou ult can do a lot of damage plus the shield and added resistance is very comfortable with Raiden and Eula while in ult phase. Kokomi provides heals and Raiden skill and Beidou ult can work well with Kokomi ult for heals and strong electro charge reactions.
I vary things a bit, but keep in mind I'm building for some survivability on the team and I while not a whale do have a number of units to work with (I am someone with a budget). So when I have Beidou in the team she is there for the Electro side of things to counter Cryo, add to Pyro reactions, or pull some physical damage and counter damage. I am for now focusing on weapons, levels, and talents, with artifacts showing up from the weekly bosses, at least for now. Beidou is c6 for me, so she is on my eventual crown list, with a number of others. Usually I am throwing in someone who can do fast attacks (Keqing, Qiqi, Zhongli, Yoimei, Childe (if in sword mode), Xingqui to a degree (his ult is very helpful combined with Beidou's), the traveler to a lesser degree, Ayaka, Raiden Shogun (again I'm looking at fast attack, though the right trigger/e skill can work here. The Ult/q/y button on controller burst move is saved for times when Beidou's Ult is not active), there are others, some other Claymore users can fall into this category (Eula and Itto come to mind, Sayu is close I think), too. The idea being pull counters at the right time which get the particles aside from other Electro units helping with this, or other units that you might be able to swap out of while the particles are forming so Beidou can snag them. I do occassionally keep her out doing damage, but that will be situation by situation based. Once she's ready with the Ult, start it up, switch to one or more fast attack characters and let loose adding their abilities into the mix as useful for causing major enemy devastation. As to the weapon, for now I have a 80/90 Prototype Archaic on her, I am planning level 90 eventually. Refinement is r2 though I am planning an eventual r5. As noted the Artifacts are coming mostly from the weekly bosses, so Gladiator for now with Electro damage bonus, trying to grab Crit Rate and Crit Damage stats with some ER and some Attack % and HP for the shield. Naturally, the Hourglass gets ER tasked, the Circlet/headpiece gets Crit Rate tasked, and obviously the Goblet/cup gets the Element Damage Bonus focus. Keep in mind not all of these artifacts are maxed out, though I am planning improvements and Thundering Fury, though Severed Fate is a thought, though perhaps a mix of the two. Talents are 8, 10, 10 though I am planning improvements there too. She is 72 of 80 for now, though I do plan setting her to 80/90 and eventually fully to 90 (may be a natural growth case there). Right now the stats read like this (keep in mind there are a number of build up points here, so this is by no means where she's staying): HP 10842 6858 in green Atk 710 815 green Def 539 48 green EM 0 Max Stamina 240 Crit rate 10.8 Crit Damage 74.4 ER 138.1 Electro Damage Bonus 44.8 And remember not all the artifacts are at level 20 as yet, so expect things to change as I find better ones and level them up. Since 1.0 I run Beidou-Fischl-Xiangling and 1 healer initially Barbara (Cuz I dont have 5* before 1.4). As overloader team, all non-healer members are hybrid build physical-elemental dps so they can flexibly switch onfield and in addition 2 overload source (Guoba + Oz) + (Stormbreaker + Pyronado) had solid output even for taking out Azdhaha

what do you think about katsuragikiri nagamasa? ive been using it with a taser team (hiezou beidou xingqiu kuki) and she has 1300 atk (lvl 70 beidou) and has 142 % energy recharge. i noticed the inazuma weapons arent too popular in general but i found a good use in them
Beidou was one of my first characters and she was my first to level 80. Then I got Childe LOL. But for real she’s insanely powerful! Just gotta grind out a good set for her to she can destroy EVERYTHING 😈
She is my favorite even tho I have a lot of 5*, but her damage as main DPS is way lower. I'd wish constellation 4 would actually be amazing, but as it is now is very lackluster.
Great video but let me tell you why you should not build Beidou. 1- Beidou shines only when multiple enemies are present and also need them to be close to each other. In current abyss, Mihoyo has purposely arrange most of the enemies very far from each other. Also by the time you chase those opponent your burst will be over. 2- Her energy recharge sucks so much. In abyss you don't have time for perfect counter and it also gets annoying to wait for enemies to attack. So most of the time while in rotation you will tap her elemental skill that will generate only two particles. Even if your ER is 200 it will take forever to get her burst back. 3- To solve above ER problem you have to use ER weapon, which will significantly reduce her damage, which to be honest is already low. Or you have to build a team according to her like with fischl or Raiden. Which is annoying as one usually build team acc. to main DPS. Therefore, she is not flexible. 4- She is really bad in current abyss later floors. Most of the enemies are either far away or are single traget. And let me tell you she is extremely bad at single target. 5- If she is sub DPS on your team which in most case she will. Your main DPS should be the one that attack extremely fast to trigger her burst lightning. In some team like Hutao, who charge attack she sucks really hard. Now you maybe wondering why I have so much hate for Beidou. This is bcoz I have currently C6 Crit 70 Crit Damage 120 ER 205 Emblem severed fate Beidou with me. And when she activate her burst, she does 7000 Dmg and her lightning does 2000-3000 dmg which quickly wears off. I practically do a damage of 40K in total which sucks bcoz with those artifacts and talent level, my other characters like Xiangling or Xingqho does over 100k damage. Please don't build her if you think she will support just any team. No, she needs a dedicated team as well as enemies type to work well, which for me is extremely limiting.
You're not wrong but Beidou is a character who really shines in a Hypercarry setup. But first in regards to your second point, while not totally wrong, perfect countering in abyss isn't very difficult after you get a hang of it. But going back to my main point, she is probably the only character currently with an extremely low damage floor and an extremely high damage ceiling. She is a character you have to hyperinvest in, but when you do she gets crazy strong. My "hypercarry" Beidou setup does 12k discharges without buffs and 38k with buffs, which accounted for Crit Rate and bounces is around 1.5 million damage. And yeah she sucks ass against single target, but most characters have limitations regarding the number of enemies. In conclusion she is super strong is hypercarry like teams, but I disagree with you saying her teams are limited, since a 200er Beidou with a shit ton of investment, as long as you know how to perfect counter consistently, can be slotted in a lot of teams.
@@nicograms I know you are right as I have seen video with Beidou doing that much damage. But I am one of those players who works with a dedicated main DPS and all the characters in the team actively supports him. By that I mean their burst should be active by the time when my main DPS reach cooldown. I have literally tried everything but Beidou just doesn't fit. THIS happens not only because her burst activation requires much efforts but also because she essentially halts the rotation I am building. If I waste around 10 sec just over her to get burst again. My main DPS like hutao or Ayaka would have already done 200k damage in that time. She basically breaks the flow of the rotation, that is why I don't like her. I think this is bcoz she is mainly a main DPS character, you need her on field and having her as support or Quick sub DPS support doesn't work.
It's true that beidou is situational and doesn't work very well a lot if the time, but the same is true for a lot of characters. Venti and childe aren't great for bosses, eula isn't great for mobs, just off the top of my head. In the situations where beidou does work, she is a solid choice and actually has the highest burst multiplier in the whole game if you add together the maximum number of arcs she can do.
I use Beidou with yanfei and yelan! Yanfei as my main dps and then when both yelan’s and Beidou’s bursts are ready the elemental reactions are just amazing
For Raiden/Beidou in a taser team i like to use raiden's burst in the downtime of everyone else's (after I've finished DPS'ing with beidou's burst usually) and that usually recharges everyone to full energy
Shock rocks team is legit. I use this team as my secondary team in spiral abyss. But I only have zhongli instead of albedo. Still, a great combination of characters.😅🥰
Beidou and Yanfei is pretty good, you can always do that satisfying full counter because Yanfei burn every grass around her all the time, she also has long range like Yoimiya

She's been carrying me since I got her on my very first ten pull on the beginner's banner, I can't imagine playing this game or doing Abyss without her. With these banners I finally managed to get her from c2 to 6, and she's a beast. Her and Yoimiya are so fun to play together, they're a perfect match. Little tip for playing her with Bennett: Bennett buff activates a second after the character is on the field, and Beidou's burst snapshots at the beginning of the animation, not at the end like other characters. It means that when u switch to her inside of Benny's burst, you should use her skill first, so she'll get the buff and then the ult. If you ult right away, she'll snapshot without buff.

@@silvercrow5108 4 pieces emblem with serpent spine, 69/ 177 crit with 210% er. I use an er sands because I run her with Bennett so she gets 1k atk from snapshotting the ult. I'm using an atk goblet because she ascends wit electro dmg, and Kazuha with 820 em gives her another 33% electro bonus. I'm using er sands because she's the only electro in the team, plus having 200+ er with emblem set gives u a 50% damage increase on the ult
@@silvercrow5108 I personally go for TF/Noblesse as a main dps. She hits like a truck and with constellation she reduces resistance too. Crazy good
Pro tip: When using Bennett burst to snapshot, wait a sec before using Beidou burst.
Bennett buff is applied in a tick same time as it's heal, so you must wait until you got the tick otherwise your burst won't get the buff for the entire duration.
I usually use Beidou elemental skill while waiting.

I remember when beidou was released more than a year ago and people were theory crafting that her E could hit more than 20k with the right setup, and people were shitting on her Q btw, now its the opposit, people love her Q and doesnt care too much abouth her E, and we cant forget that now with the right setup we can hit hundreds of thousands of damage, and it makes it funny to remember watching that videos of people hitting 30k with beidou E and people going insane, we were such a innocent child at that time XD

I brought her off the bench yesterday and she got me my first 36*, this is the time for it! Each chamber has one side with 2+ mobs to really let her shine.
I’ve been leveling her up these past two days, and it’s always a slow grind for me but she’s already hitting very solid damage with low talents and wack artifacts. Once I optimize her, I won’t need to rely on pulling Raiden soon for my Eula comp! I just want that Superconduct, and it just so happens that Beidou also does a ridiculous amount of damage off-field at the same time :)

@@cocogoat1238 wolf's gravestone, emblem set, ER/electro/crit rate. If you don't have a crazy attack weapon I'd try to run her with an attack sands and get ER from substats plus electro resonance, my current build has her running without a battery so she needs more ER.
She's probably my most played 4 star and really love everything about her from design to lore to kit. I pair her with Kokomo everytime and it's so much fun. I hope they'll give her some more dedicated screen time in future updates.
To utilize Beidou's C6 you need to actually get close to the enemy, which is great for Childe but can be quite a scam for Yoimiya since she's a ranged dps

I've been trying out more non-national 4-star teams recently and have found I quite enjoy Razor / C2 Beidou / C6 Rosaria. Fourth slot varies; I like Xingqiu if he's not being used in the national team or Diona for more superconducts, heals, cryo battery and shielding. It won't get me full-star abyss clears, but the synergies are a lot of fun.
I use same team with diona as 4th character bcz razor needs shields and I also use serpent spine
I use Razor c6 + Xinyan c6 + Rosaria c6 + Diona c6. I'm gonna have to switch Xinyan for Beidou and see wassup
I did some testing at Masanori WL8 and Blackcliff hits harder at 0 stacks than Serpent spine at 5. Both weapons were R1 when testing and with the same artifacts. Just a little note for anyone trying to build beidou, if you dont want to spend money save up the starglitter and get the Blackcliff, also its her signature weapon so thats a bonus too
She often hits 30-60k on her parries (depending on the enemy) and I don't even have proper artifact sets on her, which is insane. She'll only get stronger with more constellations and better artifacts, which is crazy imo since mine's also isn't C6 yet
May I ask what sets/crit ratio you are using. I am peaking at 23k using the fish claymore and 2 glad 2 TF with 120 crit damage
The issue is AOE and multi-target damage seems to be meaningless in the Spiral Abyss now. You have to chase down a bunch of mobs that are evenly spaced around the arena or a single boss that bounces around like Sonic the Hedgehog on crack.
current abyss has a lot of single target bosses, but last abyss and next abyss will be full of AOE situations
You just need to run an Anemo unit... Venti/Kaz/Sucrose. Me personally i run Beidou Fischl Kaz Barbara where there is 0 grouping issues and is absolutely amazing for AoE purposes. With Barbara TTDS and Tenacity4p with fish on 2pTf & 2pGlad and Beidou on 4pEoSF i'm very easily able to get through most of anything in the game. Only place i have issues with this team is Floor 11 Chamber 3 2nd Half (for obv reasons) + Floor 12 Chamber 2 2nd Half where not having a pyro/cryo character makes it take too long to finish on time. Everywhere else this team works wonders and in general any sort of Beidou team would.
(I run national on the other teams so i tend to keep Xinqiu,Benny away from other teams.)
@@jentheweeb pyro doesnt actually hurt heralds much from my experience. you gotta use cryo. i was able to clear it with taser but it was definitely a struggle. then again i always struggle agaisnt heralds so idk
Glad you mentioned the Beidou/Xingqiu/Fischl/Bennett team! Been playing since launch, and this is still my go to Beidou squad, even in Abyss 12. For a team with no 5*s, i was able to 3 star this current abyss 12-3 magu kenki with it
some advice if you dont know, its best to run the team with bennett as the one on-field, with either 4crimson or 4thundering fury, and spam his E
I still remember I was gonna pick Beidou last lantern rite but I was impatient to wait for the event to come out so I bought her off the starglitter shop and roll on the banners, and also picked her as the free 4 star. She was my main DPS back then and will always have a special place in my heart. She always has her own artifact set and weapon so she's ready to go.
You did say a few times that her ER needs are blown out of proportion and whle I agree that they are if she's built and played in a way you outlined in this video the community is also kind if right on this one. The reason is that Beidou does have a pretty high skill floor. For example, you enlightened me on how the perfect counter works just now.
Now add to this the fact that the overwhelming majority of players use unoptimized setups, be it team comps, talents, constellations, weapons or artefacts (i think this one is the main problem) and you can see how she got her reputation. Most people spend all the resin they have to farm materials and have to make do with sub-par artefacts on just about every unit they own except ther one or two main dps. If your team comp, talent level, weapon choice and artefacts are all more or less suboptimal then of course you'll struggle to make do.
I am a returning player who just started to get back into genshin in mid december. I main Noelle and have sunked around 2500 resin into trying to get a Husk set to replace the old gladiator i have on her... I haven't even seen a single def sands, geo dmg goblet or crit rate head piece. i finally got a crit dmg head piece today but the sub stats are trash. by the looks of it i'll have to spend around 8.000 resin just to get a set for her together that has some proper main and sub stats. If we assume i spend half my daily resin on Farming artefacts for her I'll be at it until around april.
Even if we assume i am getting very unlucky and cut the entire calculatino in half it's still 2 months of mnon stop farming for a single character. And even if we assume that Beidou is quite lenient when itcomes to her stat requirements and cut it in half again we're still looking at a month, or 2 weeks of non stop farming for her if we were to pour all of our avaliable 160 daily resin into her.
It truly is an impossible task for f2p/low spenders. Sorry for my rant, it went kinda off topic but i had to get it out of my system.
I did learn a lot from this guide and I have no doubt it'll provide very useful once I get around to optimizing my beidou. it's just that... well, it may take a long, long time.
Until then, the struggle is real when it comes to her burst uptime.
I mean... she has a little conditions, one of them being some brain cells to play her/her team. She is just broken in 2-target situations and her damage/multipliers are so high even 5-star characters jealous of them :). She is STILL underrated af so thank you Mr. Braxophone for an educational video

Although I knew almost all of those things mentioned in this video.. but I didn't knew she's so useful for my spiral abyss.. I haven't even tried her yet.. multiple enemies & counter attacks.. bro piece of cake ❤
Instead of Tartaglia, you can use Yanfei if you enjoy Overload and cant really use hydro for a fight. She hits very fast and with constellations she's always got stamina and her burst
i love beidou sm, i recently began to dig her play-style and just AHHHHH-- I recently got her to c6 (finally!) and I have her almost to lvl 80- she is my main focus to build now and.. i believe in beidou supremacy :D
Beidou was my Main main DPS for the majority of my time playing. Replaced her with Eula on the last rerun so now Beidou leads my second abyss team.

I might get shot down for saying this, but I been using the Inazuma Claymore on her. Really good ER. It's working very well so far. I'm like a ton of players who've grinded the Emblem domain to the edge of sanity, lol. And I have a few ridiculous Emblem sets but they're already on other characters. So while I'm farming here and there for another Emblem set, the Inazuma Claymore has been invaluable. I know I've been on so many channel comments saying Serpent Spine all the way, and I fkng love that Claymore. But until I can land a decent set, the Inazuma weapon is helping me through. And its easy to get as most of y'all know.
Sac sword works BEAUTIFULLY with her!
Two perfect counters, lotsa damage. And energy recharge helped a lot too.

And I don't exactly have a staple of great sword options to draw upon for her anyway...
For me it's always a little bit of a difficult equation: Less uptime on burst with greater damage versus almsot 100% uptime and lesser damage. Which the sac sword helps with, of course.
Recently got C6 Beidou and C6 Xingqiu and was wondering if I wanna build her, this Guide came at the perfect timing!
In my experience, I think Barbara and kokomi are really good enabler for her in electro charged teams. I put her in a team with Barbara, Fischl, and Sucrose. And I could proc ec most of the time because Barbara and kokomi's normal attacks are pretty fast. Very good for aoe and cc, and has a healer which is always nice.
I just got her to C2 last week and I'm loving her so much! Definitely a big bump in damage
one setup ive used for awhile now on beidou is C4 with thundering fury in a electro charge as her being the main DPS, the fact she can trigger elemental reaction without a skill allows her to have counter up every 4ish seconds
Recently got her c6 and since my Eula and Hu Tao are too strong for overworld content, I've started using her as my main. She's so much fun to play and I love her design and personality. She was also the first dps character I got at the start.
My f2p Beidou max counter damage were 93k - ( with the help of Bennett & Zhongly shield ). She's no joke. and she''s the only character that keep me from getting bored of the game -.0

As a Beidou main since the very first month Genshin came out... Diona is my favorite character to pair with a main dps Beidou. And Yanfei with Beidou support is much like Yoimiya for players who don't have her. Yanfei's attacks can go surprisingly far and does many explosions thanks to her passive where her crits cause extra pyro damage, really blasting off those overload reactions if built correctly.
I'm planning on a Mona, Beidou, Kazuha and Jean team. Mona as an on-field DPS, Beidou off-field damage, kazuha swirls and Jean burst healing. I don't have Kazuha yet and will pull him on his rerun.
I have been using Beidou (2 piece Thundering Fury, 2 pc Emblem) as a main DPS, then Rosaria (Blizzard Strayer), Zhongli (Tenacity of the Millieth), and Bennet ( 2pc Crimson, and 2 piece Emblem)
Wow, thank you so much for the work you put into this guide. It's one of the most comprehensive ones I've seen for Beidou, I'm always surprised how many players don't understand how Beidou's kit works but I guess that's just how misinfo goes on the internet
Edit: you probably already know this but Sucrose taser is an amazing team as well, Sucrose Beidou Fischl and Xingqiu is a good setup and very f2p friendly!
Beidou was my first c6, don't remember what banner it was but they literally just dropped her constellations in my lap back when she was just considered a fun gimmicky character who hadn't come into her own yet.
Also, I really liked how you moved the constellation section to the end. That works a lot better in my opinion.

The inazuma greatsword looks amazing on her though, a massive glaive with electro glow 👌👌 great ER and a passive that auto charges her ultimate.

I used to run Raiden with my Yoimiya team because...archon and money spent, but now I realized that Beidou is actually a better option for her, so now I run Yoimiya, Beidou, Jun Yin and either Bennet or Xingqiu, altho Beidou is my flex depending on if I figthing a single boss or a group of enemies.

Brax, you are doing a great job. I go to you before anyone else nowadays. You are very clear and to the point.
Beidou is the first among my absolute favorite units in this game, and the first 4* I pulled that, obviously, isn't Noelle (since she's guaranteed).
Not only is she an S+ tier designed character with a dope af personality, but she combines my two favorite essential traits of any character in this game... Electro and Claymore. However, I haven't had a reason to use her in awhile. Obviously, a lot of characters have come out, and I have a LOT of favorites, but I can always rely on Beidou when I get bored. Physical DPS Beidou is a lot of fun.
beidou is one of my absolute favourites!! my main team is hu tao, beidou, kaeya and kokomi which probably sounds random as hell but i promise it works.. for me at least
I use Beidou with Fischl, Kaeya, and main dps Xinyan. I just love using physical damage carries and the consistent superconduct feels really great for the team. I will switch Fischl out for Bennett if he’s not in use
I main Beidou, couple of team variants you can try:
For the Childe/Fischl team, run Jean over Benny. Shred from VV, heals, Jean can also stay on field if Childe's E is ever down too long.
I don't have Zhongli so I've found running Noelle in the the Beidou/Ning team combo is legit. With a built Noelle, maybe Raiden or Sara as a fourth, Noelle with Beidou ult on her can explode anything that has 2 or more enemies REAL fast.
Also just running 180 ER and using her solo with SF emblem set works great in most circumstances, or using her with Raiden and another driver and very little ER is totally viable, even if their ults can't combo for whatever reason.
I've always liked Beidou, and somehow I have yet to build her properly, which makes me somewhat guilty. I really love that Yoimiya team, she's my fav also but I missed her banner.. So keen to pull her on her rerun!
Usually run Beidou with my Eula/Raiden team for abyss if it's a mobbing floor. Also run her with Qiqi driver in the husk/clam domain along with Fischl and Xingqiu and they pretty consistently clear the domain and refund bursts in a single rotation. She definitely gets things done when given appropriate investment.
i love using Childe, Raiden, Beidou and a healer/shielder. i start with raiden E, beidou ult+e, swap to Childe and use his E until beidou burst is over, then i swap to Raiden and use her burst, then back to Beidou ult and Childe E. the dmg is soo nice and its a lot of fun (Beidou is C6 tho and Childe is C2). i really hope Yelan would be a good Childe replacement
The limited banners have this thing where they put you on a streak with ONE out of the three rate ups. Beidou has been my streaker on Zhongli’s rerun and I’m so happy to finally have her C1 & C2!!!
I have been playing her totally focused in Atk and ER as second option since I pulled Skyward Claymore. 2 pieces Gladiator and 2 pieces Shimenawa for 36% Atk and Atk Goblet, she is one of the most balanced characters and she hits so hard even if at the start I thought she wouldn't because she has no crit, but constant mixed damage with burst availability and easy superconduct makes her so strong with 3300 Atk without buffs.
Yes the skyward claymore its just amazing , its the only 5 star weapon i got but im happy that helps my main beidou. Every from software games fan should play her
friendly tip, you say you only have 4 team slots??? there are 10, you just need to look bottom left and add another press up to edit team names on PS5 and then there is a option to add or disband teams. on your screen look top left and hit that edit button it will give you names and 10 slots on PC ,you can not disband the original 4 just so there is no mix up. it also gives you a different view to compare the teams better as well. thanks for making these videos they are amazing and well organized
Excelent video!!! Currently, I am building my Beidou, and I saw Favonius greatsword is a great option for her, since the artifact building considers optimaze crit rate, takes advantage of that and makes her independent from another electro in team composition. So, if someone has the weapon or wants to give a try to this option, hope it goes as well as me.

Hey Braxophone, have you tried the ER Claymore from Inazuma? Refined, her energy generation seems pretty much huge, so that you can go for an ATK sand. Im just not sure about the Crit loss from the Serpent's spine. I have to do some tests...
My favorite team actually includes Raiden and Beidou together, although I don't actually use them at the same time often. It includes Raiden, Kazuha, Xingqiu and Counter-Spam Beidou (equipped with Full-Thundering Fury set). She's C6, so running her with Kazuha's buffs and burst + Xingqiu Burst + Raiden E makes her counter dmg go through the roof, and actually come back a lot faster, due to Thundering Fury 4-piece set effects and the whole electro-charged situation. Raiden also gets the same setup whenever Beidou's downtime, so getting some energy back is not a problem.
It's a pretty fun team on my opinion and works wonders with most situations, both for bosses and groups of small mobs. Although Thundersoother might also be a good pick, in exchange of Thundering Fury CD reducing capabilities...
So, Is It worth Building my C6 Beidou to use with Ayato?
@@DRKLRD-kv4cm Yes! Although Ayato is actually more of an Enabler, kinda like Childe, so building her as a Sub DPS would be more viable (not using a Counter-spam build, like mine)

@@DRKLRD-kv4cm Well I don't know much about pairing her with Venti or Yae, but pairing her with Sucrose is pretty awesome, specially alongside Xingqiu and another electro battery, like Fischl or Baal. That team is actually pretty popular, and goes by the name of "Sucrose Taser"

I actually run a Beidou; Xiangling; Chongyun; Xingqiu team. Now, if Kazuha gets a rerun, Idk who I'd swap him out for if I actually swap one of them out, because I REALLY want his elemental swirls.
I run 2NO+2TF and akuoumaru. My most OP electro-charged team I've used was Childe, Raiden, Beidou and Barbara (using TToDS and Clam). It's pretty much burst spam team with amazing AOE, Beidou alone does 16k dmg with ulti
Using Beidou with Fischl, Nahida and Yaoyao. So it's an aggravate / Spread team. I must say, Beidou's burst is almost always ready because of fischl, and with Nahida the damage goes more crazy. Yeah i use Beidou off field and very effective with Nahida who i fed so much EM 😂. My Nahida is the main driver so over all Beidou is really worth it. Electro reso and Dendro Reso just works. With Baizhu on the way, maybe Beidou will take main drive and Nahida as support or sub DPS... I dunno I'll figure it out 😂 coz I'm new on this game.
I’m surprised that the craftable claymore from inazuma wasn’t mentioned. It has an ER main stat and the passive increases skill damage and funnels energy back into her so you can go full dmg with her artifacts. Not the best for main dps beidou but for electro support/sub dps it’s a solid FTP option
I run that claymore with 2pc shim 2pc noblesse 8/11/11 each full counter hits about 29k then ult around 7k with the fish claymore around 33 full counter and 8500++ ult

Outside of Lisa and Electro Traveler, Beidou's my only electro character and I love playing the almighty pirate mommy so forcing myself to learn how to use her in a comp with Eula has been fun! I run Beidou, Eula, Benny and Rosaria/Shenhe. Whacky fun times to say the least!

Mami Beidou is my all time favourite character to play. No matter what, she will always be in my team (because I build her as my main dps) like I got excited that I finally got Ei, Xiao and Zhongli but nothing compares to my pirate mami. Literally the first character I levelled up to 90 and refined her weapon till 90 and lvl 5 because she deserves the best ✨ (still slowly trying to triple crown her heh)
Also I finally got C6 🥲💜
I've been using booba pirate since i started playing GI ( Tartaglia Banner ) n together with my first 5* which is Keqing ( yes i lost 50/50 ) together with xingciu n rosaria i can do every content comfortably... I'm on c4 now n hope i can c6 her before this banner end 😁
I use Beidou alongside a main-DPS bubble Qiqi because the aoe damage there is huge. Qiqi's skill lasts a long time, and when paired with Beidou's burst I can have superconduct active to keep those bubble pops strong. Qiqi also has very fast attack animations which helps with sending out Beidou's burst charges. If I can use Xingqiu (and he's not busy on another team), I like to have him there too so that freeze, electrocharge, and superconduct are all available. Great setup for AOE damage.
On the note about team slots..when you are ready to move onto the next team just say “and the next team we’re going to talk about is” then don’t say anything, make the next team, “character x y z comp” and just cut the bit out where you made the new team and didn’t say anything

Some quick maths shows why Beidou is extremely ridiculous! If you are fighting at least two enemies, with a C2 Beidou and a talent level 8 burst, you burst will deal 195% on activation, plus each hit bouncing 5 times is 153.5%*5=767.5%, plus getting 10 hits off over the duration of her ult (10 sec duration, 1 activation per second) - her total damage during her burst is 195+(767.5 x 10) = 7870%! It is safe to say that not many characters in Genshin deal 7870% damage with one ability 🤯🤯🤯

In a hypothetical situation, if I use Skyward Pride and 4 piece ESF would that be better then using the battlepass greatsword with 2 piece thunder fury and noblese (with great sub stats) or would those two situations even out?
Depends on your substats but most of the time SS will be better, especially if you use Bennett with Beidou
My first C6. Badass mother. Coincidentally I got Xingqiu around the same time and I was frequently "training" them together and wow they synergise so well. Eventually got Sucrose and it's magical.

Lol with the Skyward Pride sword (36.8 Energy Regarge substat) and Emblem with ER sands, I have my beidou at like 230% ER. Her burst is up almost whenever I need it.
I use your first suggested team (Tartaglia/Fischl/Bennett), and call it "Pocket Shock It". Meanwhile Yoimiya is my co-op all-star and I think I'll pair Beidou with her more often going forward.
Why didn't you mention Venti in the team comps section? Unloading Beidou and Xingqiu's ult into Venti's ult is the most satisfying thing in the game. You can use Venti for it with his fast attack OR any other bow or catalyst user. My first experience with that was Ningguong (was finish Xingqiu/Beidou to 10 when I got Ningguong and Venti) but I enjoy it with Yanfei more since you want her autoattacking some anyway. Or you can just use Diona for her shield/cryo/heal/EM. Or anybody really. Raiden works great since she can be off-field with Beidou/Xingiu during Venti's ult and then she gets her moment of dps and it is back to the Venti show.
she's the first dps and character that i got when i started genshin..And the fact that my birthday is on 13 th feb and hers on 14th feb make me feel like we're soulmate.
I got her on my 2nd account and fell in love so I worked hard getting her in my 1st acc so now I main her
one thing u forgot to mention was that not only can u press at the right moment but u can hold her skill and release at the right moment for her perfect counter
Another good team I used is Eula/Beidou/Raiden/ Kokomi. Raiden can boost ult damage,battery the team and provide super conduct for Eula. Beidou ult can do a lot of damage plus the shield and added resistance is very comfortable with Raiden and Eula while in ult phase. Kokomi provides heals and Raiden skill and Beidou ult can work well with Kokomi ult for heals and strong electro charge reactions.
I have 190 ER on Beidou with Electro Traveler as battery, I think i overboarded on er too much lol

I vary things a bit, but keep in mind I'm building for some survivability on the team and I while not a whale do have a number of units to work with (I am someone with a budget). So when I have Beidou in the team she is there for the Electro side of things to counter Cryo, add to Pyro reactions, or pull some physical damage and counter damage. I am for now focusing on weapons, levels, and talents, with artifacts showing up from the weekly bosses, at least for now.
Beidou is c6 for me, so she is on my eventual crown list, with a number of others. Usually I am throwing in someone who can do fast attacks (Keqing, Qiqi, Zhongli, Yoimei, Childe (if in sword mode), Xingqui to a degree (his ult is very helpful combined with Beidou's), the traveler to a lesser degree, Ayaka, Raiden Shogun (again I'm looking at fast attack, though the right trigger/e skill can work here. The Ult/q/y button on controller burst move is saved for times when Beidou's Ult is not active), there are others, some other Claymore users can fall into this category (Eula and Itto come to mind, Sayu is close I think), too. The idea being pull counters at the right time which get the particles aside from other Electro units helping with this, or other units that you might be able to swap out of while the particles are forming so Beidou can snag them. I do occassionally keep her out doing damage, but that will be situation by situation based. Once she's ready with the Ult, start it up, switch to one or more fast attack characters and let loose adding their abilities into the mix as useful for causing major enemy devastation.
As to the weapon, for now I have a 80/90 Prototype Archaic on her, I am planning level 90 eventually. Refinement is r2 though I am planning an eventual r5. As noted the Artifacts are coming mostly from the weekly bosses, so Gladiator for now with Electro damage bonus, trying to grab Crit Rate and Crit Damage stats with some ER and some Attack % and HP for the shield. Naturally, the Hourglass gets ER tasked, the Circlet/headpiece gets Crit Rate tasked, and obviously the Goblet/cup gets the Element Damage Bonus focus. Keep in mind not all of these artifacts are maxed out, though I am planning improvements and Thundering Fury, though Severed Fate is a thought, though perhaps a mix of the two. Talents are 8, 10, 10 though I am planning improvements there too. She is 72 of 80 for now, though I do plan setting her to 80/90 and eventually fully to 90 (may be a natural growth case there).
Right now the stats read like this (keep in mind there are a number of build up points here, so this is by no means where she's staying):

And remember not all the artifacts are at level 20 as yet, so expect things to change as I find better ones and level them up.

A good team I use is Kokomi , Fischl, Beidou, and Sucrose. It’s so much fun
Since 1.0 I run Beidou-Fischl-Xiangling and 1 healer initially Barbara (Cuz I dont have 5* before 1.4). As overloader team, all non-healer members are hybrid build physical-elemental dps so they can flexibly switch onfield and in addition 2 overload source (Guoba + Oz) + (Stormbreaker + Pyronado) had solid output even for taking out Azdhaha
🌸😹It could be uttered of Beidou, a champions spirit and fierce grit betwixt unassuming frame! One could say she wields the of mountain when put to task!😹🌸

what do you think about katsuragikiri nagamasa? ive been using it with a taser team (hiezou beidou xingqiu kuki) and she has 1300 atk (lvl 70 beidou) and has 142 % energy recharge. i noticed the inazuma weapons arent too popular in general but i found a good use in them
Beidou was one of my first characters and she was my first to level 80. Then I got Childe LOL. But for real she’s insanely powerful! Just gotta grind out a good set for her to she can destroy EVERYTHING 😈

Great video but let me tell you why you should not build Beidou.
1- Beidou shines only when multiple enemies are present and also need them to be close to each other. In current abyss, Mihoyo has purposely arrange most of the enemies very far from each other. Also by the time you chase those opponent your burst will be over.
2- Her energy recharge sucks so much. In abyss you don't have time for perfect counter and it also gets annoying to wait for enemies to attack. So most of the time while in rotation you will tap her elemental skill that will generate only two particles. Even if your ER is 200 it will take forever to get her burst back.
3- To solve above ER problem you have to use ER weapon, which will significantly reduce her damage, which to be honest is already low. Or you have to build a team according to her like with fischl or Raiden. Which is annoying as one usually build team acc. to main DPS. Therefore, she is not flexible.
4- She is really bad in current abyss later floors. Most of the enemies are either far away or are single traget. And let me tell you she is extremely bad at single target.
5- If she is sub DPS on your team which in most case she will. Your main DPS should be the one that attack extremely fast to trigger her burst lightning. In some team like Hutao, who charge attack she sucks really hard.
Now you maybe wondering why I have so much hate for Beidou. This is bcoz I have currently C6 Crit 70 Crit Damage 120 ER 205 Emblem severed fate Beidou with me. And when she activate her burst, she does 7000 Dmg and her lightning does 2000-3000 dmg which quickly wears off. I practically do a damage of 40K in total which sucks bcoz with those artifacts and talent level, my other characters like Xiangling or Xingqho does over 100k damage.
Please don't build her if you think she will support just any team. No, she needs a dedicated team as well as enemies type to work well, which for me is extremely limiting.
You're not wrong but Beidou is a character who really shines in a Hypercarry setup. But first in regards to your second point, while not totally wrong, perfect countering in abyss isn't very difficult after you get a hang of it.
But going back to my main point, she is probably the only character currently with an extremely low damage floor and an extremely high damage ceiling. She is a character you have to hyperinvest in, but when you do she gets crazy strong. My "hypercarry" Beidou setup does 12k discharges without buffs and 38k with buffs, which accounted for Crit Rate and bounces is around 1.5 million damage.
And yeah she sucks ass against single target, but most characters have limitations regarding the number of enemies.
In conclusion she is super strong is hypercarry like teams, but I disagree with you saying her teams are limited, since a 200er Beidou with a shit ton of investment, as long as you know how to perfect counter consistently, can be slotted in a lot of teams.
@@nicograms I know you are right as I have seen video with Beidou doing that much damage. But I am one of those players who works with a dedicated main DPS and all the characters in the team actively supports him. By that I mean their burst should be active by the time when my main DPS reach cooldown. I have literally tried everything but Beidou just doesn't fit. THIS happens not only because her burst activation requires much efforts but also because she essentially halts the rotation I am building. If I waste around 10 sec just over her to get burst again. My main DPS like hutao or Ayaka would have already done 200k damage in that time. She basically breaks the flow of the rotation, that is why I don't like her.
I think this is bcoz she is mainly a main DPS character, you need her on field and having her as support or Quick sub DPS support doesn't work.
Skill issue
It's true that beidou is situational and doesn't work very well a lot if the time, but the same is true for a lot of characters. Venti and childe aren't great for bosses, eula isn't great for mobs, just off the top of my head. In the situations where beidou does work, she is a solid choice and actually has the highest burst multiplier in the whole game if you add together the maximum number of arcs she can do.

I use 2pc TF, 2pc Galds, LVL 90 BP Claymore at R1, and she's LVL 90.
My main team is D!MC, Mona, Kazuha, and Beidou.
I use Beidou with yanfei and yelan! Yanfei as my main dps and then when both yelan’s and Beidou’s bursts are ready the elemental reactions are just amazing
For Raiden/Beidou in a taser team i like to use raiden's burst in the downtime of everyone else's (after I've finished DPS'ing with beidou's burst usually) and that usually recharges everyone to full energy
Shock rocks team is legit. I use this team as my secondary team in spiral abyss. But I only have zhongli instead of albedo. Still, a great combination of characters.😅🥰
Beidou and Yanfei is pretty good, you can always do that satisfying full counter because Yanfei burn every grass around her all the time, she also has long range like Yoimiya
