@@laurennieeethe best characters after those two would be Nahida and a hyperbloom trigger (kuki or raiden) since beidou can’t trigger hyperbloom. Raiden is really nice for buffing bursts and triggering more hyperblooms, but kuki can heal if you need it or don’t have raiden
I love Beidou with Cyno specially, he stays with her ult for the entire duration applying electro in the area and taking advantage of her buffs and debuffs very well, in addition to helping her recharge her ult thanks to the tf combo with his skill, love this duo
Note: when using Beidou with Bennett, you should keep her on field for 1 second before using her burst in Bennett's circle since she snapshots at the start of her burst activation animation instead of the end of her burst like Xiangling
Remember getting her as one of my first characters and now she's got a permanent place on my taser team with an R5 Akuoumaru. Such a simple but fantastic character. 😩👌

I have a 69.9/221 Beidou on serpent spine and 2 att/2 tf that I’m extremely proud of. She’s the only character that has a complete set where every piece is really good, especially as a character that doesn’t ascend with crit

I 36 starred that nightmare abyss with the Cryo and Hydro lectors with this team on the lector side and cleared without pyro so something is going right
Minor correction: Serpent Spine loses a stack whenever you take damage, not when you get hit. An important distinction when shields, like the one she gives herself while parrying, are in play. Against dual beasts in the Abyss, Beidou is a bit of a double win. Not only is it great for her burst's ability to hop back and forth, how hard those enemies can hit also means the DR she adds is very nice.
Oh my god Zyox. Not only did I know that you were already tall, humble, charismatic, funny, entertaining, and just... good overall, that you deserve this piece, but now, I really can see... you getting rewarded for once, when every other time you've been unlucky
As a Beidou main, the Raidou non-interaction STILL upsets me when I think about the synergy they used to/could have; Raiden's skill buffs both their bursts, whilst being decent off-field DPS, Raiden is a perfect solution to Beidou's energy issues allowing you to build her more offensively, Beidou's innate DR, C1, and C6 are great support features for while Raiden's using her burst, and once Raiden's burst is on CD, you can wait for CD/finish batterying Beidou using parries and NA's with her ascension passive and C4, with Raiden's skill on top of that, also both of them being electro means you get electro resonance buffs (I still think it needs a buff to add ER on top of extra particles, pyro has ATK, hydro has HP, cryo has CR, it only makes sense for electro to match them, especially for the synergy with Raiden; and with how dendro has a flat bonus as well as a situational buff, it's not too unreasonable to want flat ER and extra particles from the resonance), and with Beidou having an expensive burst that means Raiden gets more stacks for her resolve ESPECIALLY with her C1 making Beidou even more valuable in that regard why'd ya have to nerf it hoyo? why? it wouldn't even be that OP compared to other stuff in the game :( I love my girl, and I still really hope they add an artifact set for skill damage, cuz I primarily love her for satisfying counters, and I'd love to be able to swap back and forth between that set and EOSF based on when I'm using her

*Beidou, my beloved!!* I've been running a Noelle, Bennet, Beidou and Yanfei team for a long time just because it's always proven effective, as someone who doesn't spend a lot of money on the game, it's a 4 star team that will take you very far. Zhongli making a rerun is the tea I've been waiting for though, gonna save for him so I can slot him where Noelle is. I've found this team needs a geo shield support to keep from getting interrupted.
I really like Beidou, I even pulled for the Dehya's weapon to make sure that she has a decent Claymore and a little bit later I Got wolf's gravestone. What really pains me is the fact that I have her in C5 and on top of that, she is in level 80 without ascension, which means that her power will be even better. But even with a 60/120 ratio with emblem and 134 er she Carries me a lot, especially in this combat event on the Hardest Difficulty. She also is the reason why I really like Fischl/sucrose and Beidou as a team comp.
Beidou was one of the first characters I ever pulled. She was a staple on my main team as I leveled up initially and I love seeing all these teams that she can shine in!
I like to play Beidou with Yanfei so even if the small mob fly await, Yanfei have an insane reach and you have double shield, add Fischl and Bennett and you have a tower team.

Beidou was my first main dps in the game even right now if i can't defeat something with my ganyu or Raiden I'll just swap to my beidou team and i just always deletes the enemies after a successful parry. Hitting that parry just is something that's satisfying
When I first heard about Genshin and was looking at the characters on Hoyo's website, Beidou's design was straight up one of the deciding factors that got me to download the game. (Her, Eula and Yoimiya) I bought her from the starglitter store and she's been a mainstay on my teams for exploration and Abyss ever since. I'm glad she's a 4 star so that she's accessible to everyone, but I'm also sad she's not a 5 star because she DESERVES it, damn it. But maybe 5 star Beidou would be way overpowered and might just break the game entirely. Anyway, pirate mommy for life. Thanks for giving her some more love, Zyox
@@moritz4026 Artifact rolls can make some 4* stronger than 5s, true. But you just admitted that 5* have higher stats. That literally means they are stronger. Not to mention most 5* will have better skills and bursts. A really good example is how no 4* shielder can keep a 100% uptime on their shield, except Layla but even she still has a window where her skill cool down just finishes as her shield expires. Zhongli's shield stays up longer than his cooldown. And for elemental application, all of the 5* are just better if only because of the cooldown problem I mentioned. All 4s have this discrepancy between their skill's active state and cooldown. Traveler and Dehya are pretty junk 5*s though. Albedo isn't that great, either, but that's my opinion. But all that aside, I would still have thought Beidou would be a 5 if only because of her lore.
@@mitchki no, 5* aren't better than 4*. Having marginally higher base stats does not make up for kit differences. And 5* are just not generally better than 4*. Best character in the game? Xingqiu. Best buffer/healer? Bennett. Best electro in general? Fischl. Best pyro DPS? Xiangling. VV generalist? Between Kazuha and Sucrose, they both have their teams where they're preferred. The guy whose video you just watched will tell you the same thing, 5* aren't just better than 4*. Try clearing the abyss with only 5* itll be harder than with 4*
@@moritz4026 What does "Best character" even mean? What does "best electro" mean? Damage? Exploration? Element application? Very subjective, you'll need to be more specific. As the guy whose video you too just watched has said often, it depends on the team you use and the Abyss you're tackling. Beidou, for example, would be a stupid addition to a team focused on Raiden as the on-field DPS. But, as Zy0x makes clear, Beidou is incredible with teams that focus on swirls or aggravate. Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett and Fischl are all very good and highly valuable to many teams, but none of them are on-field DPS units (at least not commonly). But my point about cooldown differential still stands. Especially Bennett and Fischl literally can not maintain their skill or burst uptimes because of their cooldown differences. Raiden and Yae can consistently maintain electro application even off field. Yelan (and, yes, Xingqiu, if played properly), Kokomi and Ayato can maintain 100% hydro application because of their cooldown times. Hutao and Yoimiya, with their pyro infusions, can maintain pyro application consistently and very quickly, while Xiangling has gaps in application because Guoba can't move and the pyronado has, again, a cooldown discrepancy. Between higher base stats, access to weapons that synergize perfectly with their kits, and skill cooldown-to-uptime differences being negligible to non-existant, 5*s are just plain better in general. At the very least, could we agree that 5*s tend to be better on-field DPS units?
Another character that Beidou pairs really well with is Tartaglia/Childe as his Melee form add's water which also triggers Beidou's Elemental Burst Lightning shocks which auto triggers the elemental reaction Electro-Charged every swing. If you have the Battlepass bow which gives a swirl that sucks in enemies the damage goes nuts.
Beidou is my first main. I love her so much. When Alhaitham came out, I instantly paired him with her and they really work well together. Just for the joke, some can say that with Beidou, they came for the bust and they stayed for the burst.

I like her kit but the parry part make it hard to perfect since the less the frames the less chance to to perfectly parry (love the content keep it up)
I am a beidou main. Her defense abilities(her shield and the fact that her charged elemental skill can make you invincible for a few seconds) and her combat abilities fit my ideal playing character not to mention the fact that when you use her burst, she heals a bit, she's great in hyberbloom teams and electro-charged teams. She's the ideal dps and no one will ever beat her😌

I recently started playing the game and watch videos on all the characters I pull so that I can build them the best of my ability! As a newer player who’s still in the beginning parts of the game it would be really nice if you covered 4 star / f2p options for artifacts and (I haven’t gotten there in the video yet so you might have) weapons.
Finally getting around to leveling up my Beidou, but I've only got her on C1 at the moment. I know she has a constellation up for grabs for the monthly, but I really want to get Noelle to C6. It would really help that team.
2 things serpents spine is also technically Beidou canonical weapon And I've recently started using here as my main Field DPS with Raiden and furina using the Katsuragikiri to fill her energy needs and buffing the counter even more using thundering fury as her set for more parrys works really well beat the current spiral easily even tho her burst dosnt work with ridens it still strips there electro res and makes her uninterruptible meaning in full strip electro res and then some hitting for big numbers
Just started building her alongside my Heizou and yeah she rocks! Even at lvl 50 and Heizou 60 I can clear over world with ease and the gameplay is amazing ( Heizou , Beidou, Kuki, Yelan/XQ) and do most of my domains without changing for my BIS teams for them. (AR57) Numbers storming everywhere, shields getting shredded and being in the melee bare fists punching my way through. I can’t wait to finish building Heizou and Beidou to see how much they can do with propre lvl/ equipment but yeahI really recommend trying that team!
@@Vignozio I run him on EM pieces since all my Crit/Att pieces rolled crap :( Though I think that for multiple targets this might be the best but I've seen some people do crazy numbers with classic critt+att pieces for solo boss. He is on 4 pieces VV
@sagansagan5395 I usually go: Yelan EEQ, Kuki QE, Beidou QE, Heizou EQ + NA and some CA here and there depending on mob position. Sometime EQ depending on where energy is at (Mainly Beidou that I have a harder time to get on cooldown) Note I have Yelan C1 with Favonius bow so this helps much with energy regen and beidou on Skyward Sword for ER. I was trying multiple teams and for now it's ben my favorite for some time. Deadly and fun to use in most places. I saw a video with this team and had to try it. One of my overworld go to nowadays (This and working on my physical Shenhe hahaha so much fun actually) Let me know if interested in the video I could look up my watch history and send the link

That's a nice guide however When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing). At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing. (This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but it is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses). Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds. Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing). There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Looking for advice! Should I level up my team to 90? I'm F2P and just hit adventure rank 50. My team is Jean as Main DPS with Xiangling, Xianqiu and Fischel as off field dps. most of my damage comes from throwing their elements and swapping to jean for swirls and healing. I got all 4 ascended to 80 and dont know whats next? A second team so ican do abyss? lvl 90? or better artifacts? theirs are ok but not great substats yet. Also Jean is my only 5star(dang RNG) with her sword and I do have a Bennett I thought would be a good char to level up for team 2. Maybe get Ayaka and Raiden from next banner for team 2? Also I do have a level 70 Beidou (not ascended) I could use too but she's built for Main DPS and used to be my main before I got Jean. Thanks for any advice you'd give, I'm trying to learn the more advanced parts of genshin like artifacts (which to keep) and how they perform and team comps. But still very green to it all.
I've mained Beidou since I started playing. I've always used her on thundersoother with Kokomi. Their bursts synergize really well. I'm switching kokomi out for Yaoyao now. The other two are kazuha and fischl

The synergy between beidou and alhaitham is insanely good too. Clears pretty much everything.
unforged is really good on her since her burst and E counts as shields so she gets an ATK bonus from the weapon ability.

When I first heard about Genshin and was looking at the characters on Hoyo's website, Beidou's design was straight up one of the deciding factors that got me to download the game. (Her, Eula and Yoimiya)
I bought her from the starglitter store and she's been a mainstay on my teams for exploration and Abyss ever since.
I'm glad she's a 4 star so that she's accessible to everyone, but I'm also sad she's not a 5 star because she DESERVES it, damn it. But maybe 5 star Beidou would be way overpowered and might just break the game entirely.

5* arent stronger than 4* tho, the only difference is literally having marginally higher stats
@@moritz4026 Artifact rolls can make some 4* stronger than 5s, true. But you just admitted that 5* have higher stats. That literally means they are stronger.
Not to mention most 5* will have better skills and bursts. A really good example is how no 4* shielder can keep a 100% uptime on their shield, except Layla but even she still has a window where her skill cool down just finishes as her shield expires. Zhongli's shield stays up longer than his cooldown.
And for elemental application, all of the 5* are just better if only because of the cooldown problem I mentioned. All 4s have this discrepancy between their skill's active state and cooldown.
Traveler and Dehya are pretty junk 5*s though. Albedo isn't that great, either, but that's my opinion.
But all that aside, I would still have thought Beidou would be a 5 if only because of her lore.
@@mitchki no, 5* aren't better than 4*. Having marginally higher base stats does not make up for kit differences. And 5* are just not generally better than 4*. Best character in the game? Xingqiu. Best buffer/healer? Bennett. Best electro in general? Fischl. Best pyro DPS? Xiangling. VV generalist? Between Kazuha and Sucrose, they both have their teams where they're preferred.
The guy whose video you just watched will tell you the same thing, 5* aren't just better than 4*. Try clearing the abyss with only 5* itll be harder than with 4*

@@moritz4026 What does "Best character" even mean? What does "best electro" mean? Damage? Exploration? Element application? Very subjective, you'll need to be more specific. As the guy whose video you too just watched has said often, it depends on the team you use and the Abyss you're tackling. Beidou, for example, would be a stupid addition to a team focused on Raiden as the on-field DPS. But, as Zy0x makes clear, Beidou is incredible with teams that focus on swirls or aggravate.
Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett and Fischl are all very good and highly valuable to many teams, but none of them are on-field DPS units (at least not commonly). But my point about cooldown differential still stands. Especially Bennett and Fischl literally can not maintain their skill or burst uptimes because of their cooldown differences. Raiden and Yae can consistently maintain electro application even off field. Yelan (and, yes, Xingqiu, if played properly), Kokomi and Ayato can maintain 100% hydro application because of their cooldown times. Hutao and Yoimiya, with their pyro infusions, can maintain pyro application consistently and very quickly, while Xiangling has gaps in application because Guoba can't move and the pyronado has, again, a cooldown discrepancy.
Between higher base stats, access to weapons that synergize perfectly with their kits, and skill cooldown-to-uptime differences being negligible to non-existant, 5*s are just plain better in general.
At the very least, could we agree that 5*s tend to be better on-field DPS units?
Another character that Beidou pairs really well with is Tartaglia/Childe as his Melee form add's water which also triggers Beidou's Elemental Burst Lightning shocks which auto triggers the elemental reaction Electro-Charged every swing.
If you have the Battlepass bow which gives a swirl that sucks in enemies the damage goes nuts.
Beidou is my first main. I love her so much.
When Alhaitham came out, I instantly paired him with her and they really work well together.
Just for the joke, some can say that with Beidou, they came for the bust and they stayed for the burst.

I am a beidou main. Her defense abilities(her shield and the fact that her charged elemental skill can make you invincible for a few seconds) and her combat abilities fit my ideal playing character not to mention the fact that when you use her burst, she heals a bit, she's great in hyberbloom teams and electro-charged teams. She's the ideal dps and no one will ever beat her😌

I recently started playing the game and watch videos on all the characters I pull so that I can build them the best of my ability! As a newer player who’s still in the beginning parts of the game it would be really nice if you covered 4 star / f2p options for artifacts and (I haven’t gotten there in the video yet so you might have) weapons.
seeing beidou's BURST lasts 15s with 20s cd and remembering Dehya's SKILL is like 10x worse plus a 12s duration and 20s cd makes me wanna cry

And I've recently started using here as my main Field DPS with Raiden and furina using the Katsuragikiri to fill her energy needs and buffing the counter even more using thundering fury as her set for more parrys works really well beat the current spiral easily even tho her burst dosnt work with ridens it still strips there electro res and makes her uninterruptible meaning in full strip electro res and then some hitting for big numbers

Just started building her alongside my Heizou and yeah she rocks! Even at lvl 50 and Heizou 60 I can clear over world with ease and the gameplay is amazing ( Heizou , Beidou, Kuki, Yelan/XQ) and do most of my domains without changing for my BIS teams for them. (AR57)
Numbers storming everywhere, shields getting shredded and being in the melee bare fists punching my way through.
I can’t wait to finish building Heizou and Beidou to see how much they can do with propre lvl/ equipment but yeahI really recommend trying that team!

I usually go:
Yelan EEQ, Kuki QE, Beidou QE, Heizou EQ + NA and some CA here and there depending on mob position.
Sometime EQ depending on where energy is at (Mainly Beidou that I have a harder time to get on cooldown)
Note I have Yelan C1 with Favonius bow so this helps much with energy regen and beidou on Skyward Sword for ER.
I was trying multiple teams and for now it's ben my favorite for some time. Deadly and fun to use in most places.

Sacraficial greatsword is great if you like face paced game play combo's help keep you alive recharges burst faster, parry (reset greatsword passive cooldown) burst, parry, repeat

Wow this was un expected. But a HUGGEE surprise for me cuz I'm a former beidou main and will go back to main her again after her c6. Currently she's on shop but I've 22 starglitter only so trying to get her c5 rn.
That's a nice guide however When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing).
At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing.
(This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but it is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses).
Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds.
Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing).
There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time.
This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.
As a day one, c6 and crowned Beidou main, this makes me really happy. She's my queen

Looking for advice! Should I level up my team to 90? I'm F2P and just hit adventure rank 50. My team is Jean as Main DPS with Xiangling, Xianqiu and Fischel as off field dps. most of my damage comes from throwing their elements and swapping to jean for swirls and healing. I got all 4 ascended to 80 and dont know whats next? A second team so ican do abyss? lvl 90? or better artifacts? theirs are ok but not great substats yet. Also Jean is my only 5star(dang RNG) with her sword and I do have a Bennett I thought would be a good char to level up for team 2. Maybe get Ayaka and Raiden from next banner for team 2? Also I do have a level 70 Beidou (not ascended) I could use too but she's built for Main DPS and used to be my main before I got Jean.
Thanks for any advice you'd give, I'm trying to learn the more advanced parts of genshin like artifacts (which to keep) and how they perform and team comps. But still very green to it all.
I've mained Beidou since I started playing. I've always used her on thundersoother with Kokomi. Their bursts synergize really well. I'm switching kokomi out for Yaoyao now. The other two are kazuha and fischl
My team back then was Noelle, Sucrose and Beidou. So these characters I just use because of emotional bondage. So this video makes me really happy.
