    I would love to know the brand of that rod. Jyg jigs are definitely my go to, not only that they did a sale on jigs after Ian where 100% of sales went to hurricane relief. Life time supporter, innovators not copiers. Love the video keep it coming.

    Thanks 4 sharing your trip with all of us! When I can't make it fishing myself watching other people on uhm is the next best thing! I was out in the gulf out if Steinhatchee last Saturday, we caught mostly Sea Bass, and key west Grunts. I think there was a 17" trigger as well. Anyhow filled the freezer with fillets, I haven't tried the grunt fillets yet, but was told they were good eating as well. FishOn....jimi

    For the pulled off floaters, keep a spin rod handy with a very sharp large treble that you can sling out over the floater. Waste makes want. 😁

  • @doug2202
    @doug2202 Год назад +1

    Hey Ryan, just curious why did you go up power on the rod when you were still using the same weight of jig? Do you get a different action on the jig with a heavier power rod?

    • @Gulf_Coast_Slow_Jigging
      @Gulf_Coast_Slow_Jigging Год назад +1

      Yes we moved out from roughly 600’ to 800’ and I wanted the jig to react quickly to the uplift. Had I stayed with the power 4 there’s no problem the rod would have just unloaded slower on the lift/pitch
