I was wondering about this as well because I missed Caitlin's step back 2-point shots and I found the answer. In one of the recent Coach Bluder interviews, I forgot if it was a post game or on the Hawkeyes radio, she mentioned that she prefers the 3s than the 2-point shots. Taking a shot is the same whether it's 3 or 2, so why not just shoot 3s, something to that effect.
That's interesting, she is the coach. I figure a team needs production from everyone, and not everyone can shoot the 3. There's a reason centers typically have the highest shooting percentage but I am guessing they studied this using statistics. The trouble is any team can have an off night shooting 3s.@@CCTheGOAT22Fan
They (Iowa) still need to learn to go up when they try to score not vertically like she did with the first possession. It is something you are taught that most kids do not learn by themselves.
Beautiful team effort. CC the General!
ahh it should be counted,, the no-look shot logo 3.
CC is on fire
😂
Is the mid range jump shot a thing of the past? It's either 3s or drive to the basket.
