I’ll have to give it a try when it comes in....but I’m going to be honest....it looks small, sounds small, and if I heard correctly, I think he said the back n sides are a Koa veneer.
If that Koa is Laminate, then it doesn’t belong in the Road Series.
The Martin Road Series is famous for its monicker as Martin’s most affordable All Solid guitars made from world class tonewoods.
Take that away, and you may as well put it together with the X-Series.

I'm a Martin guy through and through.
    I just don't like it.
I don't know if I could get used to the lop-sided feel.
It's not as funky as the Fender Acoustasonic crap, but you can't let Fender out-crap you!

The Grateful Brad personally I find the Acoustasonic guitars to be really innovative and very useful as tools for musicians. I saw Daniel Donato live late last year and I’ll be dammed if that acoustasonic he used for his acoustic set wasn’t as good as any acoustic electric sound I’ve ever heard

The guitar does not sound good with no wooden tone.
