Gotta teach your customers to wash down with fresh water in the engine compartment after each ride,b then we 40 everything metal, and finally store with the front up and seat off. The inside will not corrode and the ski will look showroom new. We East Coast jet ski I racers know how to avoid corrosion!
I’ve had the ibr out of my 2015 and agree, doing your way was much easier. The other way you have to almost be laying over the engine, feet up other the handle bars and arms stretched right out… worst still, it’s very closed and hot in there. Well done sir

I being 65 cringe seeing you work on the iBR and Jet Pump with the wheels of the Trailer on the ground, I personally Drive the Trailer Wheels up on Plastic Ramps from Wally World (Distant Cousin?) and I sit on a Stool. As far as Grease for the Hardware I prefer to use Sil-Glyde (not Astro) Multi-Purpose or Brake (same product as far as I can tell). Regarding Striped-Out Threads in Fiberglass or replacing OEM Pop-Rivets even in the Plastic Seat Frame... I Upgrade (quick and easy) to 304 Stainless Steel Metric Nutserts use my Prostormer 3 in 1 Rivet Gun. Unrelated to your Video, the 3 Upgrades I've done to my 2015 GTX 260 is Limited are Changing out the the Failed OEM Intercooler with a Fizzle Gen X, Swapping out the OEM Fuel Pump and Salt Clogged OEM Fuel Filters within the Module for a Walbro GSS 342, Holley Hydramat 16-111, Wiring in a Relay for the Ground Circuit of the Fuel Pump (takes the Heavy Load of Grounding the Pump away from the ECM) and Greatest Improvement I Invented (with the Guidence of the Holy Ghost / Praise the Lord) a Device to place inside the Fuel Filler Cap (Cap includes a One-way Vent Valve / allows Air and Water Spray to take the place of the quickly Consumed Fuel while at Full Throttle) which solved the problem of Salt Water entering My Tank while Piloting My Ski Aggressively, I enjoy sliding this thing sideways and backwards (sure I could have simply changed my Riding Style to that of a Weenie, but what's the Fun in that?). replaced ibr and I get a c2102 fault code, do I have to get it programed? I don't see forward , reverse or neutral. I have a 2011 gti se130 ski.
If the IBR is new, you have to program it if it’s used sometimes you do sometimes you don’t

Hey calas tengo un seadoo 2020 rxtx 300 solo tiene 4 horas corridas en total. Se me rompio la cadena de tiempo. El motor esta stock como vino de fabrica.. Esto es normal pasa mucho ?? O tuve mala suerte con este motor? Por favor necesito tu repuesta ya que eres experto en seadoo. No quiero asustarme y venderlo
Warranty should cover that and if your timing chain broke its probaly from 1 of the washers on the supercharger
G'day Calas. I noticed in your video that the ibr casing heavily corroded. Is it worth while talking that off and scrubbing it down to metal and painting it with a rust inhibitor. Bought my ski second hand and the ibr looks like the one in the video. Ibr still works fine.
If you want to go through the trouble of taking it out and sanding and painting it, I don’t think it’s a bad idea but it’s a lot of work on the other hand 2010 to 2015. Are very expensive RBR the new ones are a little cheaper

Mine has rust too, I sprayed with fluid film 5 years ago when I got it. I respray it every once in a while. Still going strong and rust is not spreading.

I couldn’t see them charging more than the same thing they charge to program a key I could be wrong

@@calasworld $60 is what they charged and I did the non Calas way, just left the bracket installed, but I’m 6’4 and have long arms. It was cake
Have you had much time with the couple models that had the suspension? When that came out (i think around 2010s?) I was like, that’s gonna be a nightmare in the future. I don’t understand how so many don’t take of the machines. They aren’t cheap. You don’t see people with brand new Harley’s rusting away outside with no cover as much. But it’s amazing the ignorance of some of the owners.
Quick story: I had a customer come in for a problem. I’m trying to help log his info into the computer. Told me he had a Kawi 4 stroke machine. Nope…. He had a yami 2 smoker xlt1200. So many are clueless. When they come in and you say what type of ski and the give you a color. Just add $100 for stupidity
