I actually disagree but i don't think he knows the degree of what he does. i think he knows what he's doing inherently isn't that good but he thinks he's treating them well and stuff. i think he does know but he just doesn't care enough to reflect on it. he might not be a asshole but i think he somewhat understands, just not the gravity of the situation

There are SO many things I love about this animation, so I'll just point out one detail I like in particular; I love that Airy's eyes slowly get weirder throughout the vid. He starts off with the normal dot eyes, then he gets irises, then they turn completely red, then they get uncomfortably detailed at the very end (Irises, pupils, and eyebrows) Anyways I adore this animation

I feel like it’s the context that makes dot eyes look good. They’re just simple object shows, and the dot eyes convey emotions the easiest. This is literally an acid trip, hence the goofy eyes. They also switch between dot eyes, swirly eyes, and human eyes depending on the context.
