It is just such a beautiful dog and hopefully I will be able to get, either one of these or maybe an Akita. As I said they are beautiful dogs and they should be pretty smart and loyal as hell. I can still remember watching "Hachiko: A Dog's Tale" and finding out that it is a true story. I was sold right then and there.
It may be cute, but remember, once upon a time the Japanese breeds one of these to guard a whole village from bandits, wolves, bears and who knows what else. Just one. Taking care of a whole village. Don't underestimate the cute.

aww Maya is so cute :3 but I'm sorry to say you have to set more boundaries and limitations for her. what I picked up on in this video, was that it's ok to bite peoples hand, it's ok to tear in peoples clothes and it's ok to grab whatever food is nearby. you really should stop her in doing these things, or they could become big problems when she becomes bigger.
Agreed! She's about 4 months old now, so I'm still trying to work with her on not being in such an excited state all the time. She is very easily distracted and headstrong.

Dog-puppys are awesome. Got to make sure you raise that little whirlwind-proper, though :D She won't be so cute when she's walking around grown up and packed with some sweet little behaviour-disorder, especsially those purebred! They tend to have some issues from time to time, the rarer the race actually is. ;) Also, love the Kong! Every dog needs one of those :D
