Motorola HT1250 220 MHz Power Up Issue Repair

- I was asked to see if this could be fixed. It had several strange issues with power up not working from the switch, and the battery seemed to drain fast as well.
This was actually quite complex of a repair, mostly do to suspected electrostatic discharge damage. As the radio is shielded internally, several shields had to be removed. For a normal radio it's not worth the time, but 200/220 MHz HT1250's are not that common anymore, thus I wanted to fix it. After all, what's the point of having a microscope if you're not going to use it?

i have a GP340 that does not power off. After switch of for some seconds it constandly repowers in a lope. When switched on everything is fine
Like the Motorola Waris line, not as good as the Jedi line. Like the IBM clicky keyboard
Gotta love "M" radios... The Waris line is good to work on .. At present I have 12 CDM's here doing the 220 mods..filters and rebanding.. Keeps us out of trouble. VE3WGW
Which models can be used on 220Mhz? I'm finding various answers to this (only ls+) but have read reports of the ls series can as well. Maybe regular 1250/1500 series can?
