Yes, the frames output Windows Touch which is a multitouch mouse driver for Windows (so anything you can click or drag with a mouse you can with these frames). To get multitouch gestures though the application has to support it (things like pinch-to-zoom, etc). You have to check with the game on whether it has any multitouch gesture support.
@khoi000 Yes it it similar to LLP and LED-LP, where an infrared light plane is created and there are sensors also all around the frame which then detect when your fingers come into contact with the light plane. More information on my blog
The touch frame sits on top of a sheet of glass so you clean it just like a normal window. Sure you can draw on the sheet of glass physically, or if you mean digitally in software then yes, you just need to use a drawing application.
The glass that comes with it would need some sort of Rear Projection film to display the projector's image on. We sell RP film on our store so take a look at that. To hold up the frame and glass you would want to use some sort of support frame that you could either mount to a table or have free standing. We sell Touchscreen Podiums on our site which you should also look at.
Yes these frames work great over a TV or projection setup in public places. You can use a layer of thicker scratch resistant plastic or glass to protect your TV. The glass sheet that comes with it is 3-4mm so it may be thick enough for your use.
We are simply resellers and do not set the prices. The technology allowing the multitouch interaction in these frames has been upgraded for many years and continues to get cheaper and more responsive.
@khoi000 Haha you'd be surprised how many people just want a stable working system. Plus these frames work in lighting condition that you couldn't use the camera-based ones previously.
Yeah, the cheaper method is to use a camera but then you have to take the TV apart and the results aren't anywhere as reliable as the touch frame. Cost versus quality and time.
thanks ... I want to convert a large screen HDTV into a coffee table ... it's messin me up on the cost .. especially for the waterproofing. Savin up my spare change ... lol ...
Well .. I have watched all of your videos ... very well done and informative. I can't disagree with a word you say on it. I will be purchasing my parts through your company.
Hi, What About the touch precision? I would Like to buy one of these to use in a Home Flight Simulator. So to Touch on the right button the device must be Precise.
The touch frames have accuracy better than the diameter of your finger, so as long as the application is capable of being used by a touch interface it should work fine.

@Miqopet It means that you can interact with the screen with 6 simultaneous touch points
@Shaunakde Yes there are LEDs and sensors alternating around all 4 sides
How does this thing work is there like a sensor similar to a LLP?
Hi, is there a minimum contact diameter? I read somewhere for other products contact must be at least 5mm.

How do u clean it? Is is possible drawing on it?
the touch frame is bigger than the monitor display how come it can still map accurately?
The calibration allows you to use any image equal to or smaller than the inside area of the touch frame.
How much time is the service life?
Can be used in a public place with constant use? (with protection, of course)

Does it work on 13 inch MacBook Pro
Yes, the frames will detect as small as a 6mm diameter object.
