I don’t think Blair was the most supportive manager, especially the way he treated Sonny.
As compared to the way he treats HRVY it's like these guys don't exist.
Facts. Blair isnt a good manager, Roadtrip has potential of being real famous but he rarely promotes and supports them as a whole and focuses rather on HRVY. Roadtrip is such an underrated group that needs the support.
I just have a gut feeling he was part of the reason why the band didn't get the record deals

liz EXACTLY. I never knew why they weren’t HUGE yet, but it was Blair all this time.
God, I can’t imagine what this must be like for sonny. We knew he lost two relatives, but now he said he actually lost three in a span of two weeks and then directly after that, his band collapsed, his best friends left, and Blair, a father figure to him who’s known him since he was a teen, attacked him.

Ok so I can’t be the only one who’s suspicious of Blair
1. Considering how long Roadtrip has been going and quite frankly how successful they’ve been, there is no reason they shouldn’t already have a record label. Why don’t we and new Hope club both got labels in less time with less of a following
2. Rye shouldn’t have had to take care of the money and everything in the first place. He started the band as a teen. He shouldn’t have had to take on all the responsibility. Everything he said he has been doing for the band is stuff Blair as their manager should’ve been taking care of
3. I can’t be the only one who found it off that a bunch of teenagers(complete strangers at first) had to share one tiny room in Blair’s tiny apartment. Did that not seem strange?
Edit: they also had to convince him to let them move out of his tiny apartment? Uh? Is that not weird?
4. He kinda seems like he’s dead set on turning the band against rye as well. Getting Harper to message sonny the day of his nan’s funeral? That’s low. Calling sonny a disloyal shit a few days after he buried his nan? Even worse. He’s a 35 year old man attacking a 23 year old a couple of days after his nan’s funeral. Think about that

Don’t forget Blair’s management took 25% of roadtrips income but they still had to use there own money to get the shit they wanted to done whilst Harvey was off touring around the world. It makes you think was Roadtrip only Blair’s money bank for the extra little things.

leanne brown in my opinion it’s Blair I think Blair had said different things to each of the band members and twisted words to get them to argue because Blair has never been there for then band not for a while anyways the band was amazing in the stat I loved it but everything stated changing then Mikey left and it got worse then jack left and that was it the band lost its connection, it’s originality just everything it was in the start it wasn’t there anymore. I lost interest and I think a lot of the first fans did because it wasn’t the same it wasn’t the band we fell in love with.
From the start this was handled quite childishly from all parties it shouldn’t have went to social media like that or shouldn’t have been escalated to such level as it has been however there’s always going to be 3 stories to this Yours, Brooks and Harper’s and the truth. Blair as the proper manager should have stepped in a long time ago but he didn’t step up to this job which is so disappointing. Now all the “blame” falls on Rye but we will never know the full story and what happened between them behind closed doors. We as roadies can’t judge them for it as it’s their life they’re getting older and are allowed to progress with their lives. Personally as an “older” roadie this was bound to happen and from their new content I somehow grew out of the messing around and definitely wasn’t watching any of their videos as much as I did a couple years back. They had financial struggles and I’d rather have them earn enough to sustain their lives later on and let’s not lie they are quite old they want to start having their own lives and families and that’s a way of life. Yes this is very sad and upsetting however it was bound to happen.. so let’s appreciate all the happy times and how happy they made us feel however they have to move on with life. As roadies we have to acknowledge this and be happy for their progress even if it ends.

I was quick to judge Rye when I read Harper and Brooklyn’s statement, but listening to this, hearing Brooklyn and Harper say that they agree and Brooklyn saying he came to Rye first, made me change my whole outlook on the situation

For everyone who doesn’t really understand English, I made a summary of the drama, and I’m not English but I want to help you understand 🙂 and others roadies can complete my comment if I did some mistakes, there is maybe a lot of grammatical faults, I apologize 😊
so : RT had money issues, and with the coronavirus, they lost a lot of money, so the band couldn’t really go forward. Sonny said that on February, they were only earning 70 pounds, he said that they didn’t do it for the money, but well, everyone needs money to live. Sonny said that he knew that RT wasn’t gonna last forever (of course) and that at the end of the day, having only 70 pound per month is really not enough.
So Rye tried to find solutions by offering to terminate Blair's contract. He also propose to do individuals things, but to continue concert in group.
But Blair kinda put pressure on Andy, Brook and Harper, and he prohibited them from communicating with Rye and Sonny.
Also Brook was falling out of love with the band for a pretty long time. He first said that he don’t wanted to be a band but after, in the recording he is saying that he wants to. He and Blair tried to manipulate the boys by saying that Rye wanted to... hum like ... take the band for himself.
But Rye said that everyone lost passion because of all this struggles with money, the boys weren’t really making effort for RT.
As I understood, Brook and
Harper weren’t doing anything for the band, they were just playing video games and didn’t really take care of the band. The boys talk together about Harper and Brook’s attitude, and both admitted that they acted like sh*t and Brook defend himself by saying that he act like sh*t because he was fed up of the group. But Rye said that he still loves Brook because they are friends since a long time.
After that, Harper and Brook ran away without explanations, they « dropped » Rye and Sonny, and like, they just fled their responsibilities by running away. And no one was aware. Sonny and Rye was really shocked when they found out they were gone.
Oh also, when Sonny kinda said that he didn’t want to ran away with Brook and Harper, Blair insults him and said that he was « the most disloyal piece of shit he ever met ». Blair also said that he should’ve never give a chance to Sonny.
Rye clearly said that all the bad gossip about him aren’t real. Andy knows it but he’s too scared to confront Blair so he didn’t said anything.
Sonny and Rye went to Brook’s house but his parents said that he didn’t have the right to talk to them. So instead, they talked with Brook’s parents who understood the situation and knew that the things Rye was accused of were wrong, but that Brook was now trapped into this messy situation.
Rye said that Sonny and him receive a lot of hate, and that they didn’t want this drama to be online.
Sonny : « Road trip is finished », they wanted to do a video to explain nicely and clearly. They are still gonna post individuals content, but not on roadtrip’s account. They are sorry for all this, and want to move on, and want us to keep positives vibes and they love us ... and are grateful for all the support and ... and Im gonna cry bye 😭. I just want to say something else, from what I whatched on the video seems like Rye did want more money BUT because he would be the one to take care of their money, he would deal with the paperwork and stuff like that. I think that that's the one of the biggest misunderstandings about this situation. Harper and Brook made it seem like Rye only wanted the money but I think that he was trying to help the band.
I still think that someone made Harper and Brook say those things but that's just my opinion.

Yes! I've been saying for so long that it's weird how little attention they got as compared to HRVY. Loren Grey used to work with him and he played so much attention to her in the like 1 year she was in his management.

He definitely did back in the day, the boys used to live in Blair’s spare bedroom on bunk beds and they used to be a big family.
I just think its shady how Blair was travelling around the world while you lot were financially struggling...

Sarah Biswas he used to manage Zach Clayton. He’s said that Blair fucked him over and basically pressured him into shaving his head and being a “rapper” and changing his name to Badzach. So Blair is a proven asshole. But I don’t think Blair is the only one to blame in this particular situation.
I totally get why Andy hasn’t spoken out. He gets hate for literally everything. I don’t know where I stand at this point. The evidence that was given in this vid leads me to believe that Harper and Brook’s accusations were just false but I really can’t think of a reason that they’d lie unless they were put up to it or pressured. That’s my view from the outside with the limited evidence I’ve been given. I will always love you guys, Roadtrip or not.

There’s no way that they could make something like this up. Do you get what I mean? It’s clear they’ve been pressured to feel like this. We all knew that the band wouldn’t last much longer and that Brook wasn’t very happy anymore it was so obvious but the way it ended is just awful
After reading the comments and their replies to comments, I really think Blair has manipulated Brook And Harper and giving them false information that made them run away, because what Brooklyn and Harper said kinda sound very similar to what Sonny And Rye said but from different point of view. Blair just probably wanted the band to break up and chose Brooklyn since he was not as happy in the band anymore and Harper just joined so he just gave more “reason” for Brooklyn to leave and Harper didn’t know what happened previously
Jean Viloria I don’t think Blair is only to blame. I’ve always gotten a vibe from rye that he likes to run the show and now that brook and Harper have come forward, it’s basically sealed that for me. They probably felt like they walked on eggshells with Rye even though Rye was only just a member just like them. He just tried to be the boss of everybody and he’s drunk with power and greed and control.
Brooklyn's Giggle true I think he might’ve misunderstood brook when he said he didn’t want to do the band anymore, brook told us that he was feeling down he might’ve been conflicted in what he wanted bc they’ve been doing more videos than working on music. They also say the band is business but rye makes it sounds like he needed to be the one to do everything in the band rather than everyone working together and doing their share.

The thing I’m questioning now is sonny wanted to join the band because he wanted to get back into singing but now he doesn’t seem to want to do it anymore same goes with rye if singing is what they wanted to do in the start why have they given up and why couldn’t they try to find a new manager instead of trying to handle Blair. I want them to tour the world and sing but it’s sad they’ve given up.

@@Rawan088 andy seems to be the most blamed due to the kind of weird background with overload tho, he was less to blame. so 'fans' blame him cause he was part of why other ppl had a break up. so it was cause of his background and as well, his personality'. he's a cynic and he is quite the hardworking man, so he's a cynic, stoic, and hardworking person who is also funloving. so some 'fans' say he is more likely to be the reason and he is also the most 'changing' in looks aside from brook so they are the two who gets more hate than rye, jack, harper, and sonny.
I watched this band when I was younger and then forgot about it for a little while I just came back and saw that they have not posted in 11 months than I saw this video and I am now trying my hardest not to cry I will miss you guys!

Well, I think I will be hate for this but I think it’s great for them. From last year they weren’t happy and you should see it. It started with their instagram, then Mikey and Jack left the band. And now they can be happy, they can do what they wanted all the time, they can be with their family, start live their own life, find new Job and finally their real lifes can’t stay in the secret and I think it’s very important for them ❤️ I know it’s hard for you, but now they can be really happy and it’s what we want.... so respect the choice 🙏 stay strong roadies ❤️

I left the fandom in late November/early December when I realized this would go down hill, and very fast. At that point in time you could see they were tired and unenthusiastic and I just couldn't support this. I knew there was no point in it and that they were all not happy with being in a band or at least doing what they were doing. I had a feeling it was going to end this way and I jumped ship before it got way out of hand and dramatised like everything in this band has in the past. I'm glad I did leave but I feel bad that this is the way that the band has to end but I also hate how I predicted it basically to the T. Thank you for the few months that you were an important part of my life and I wish you the best.💕

I haven't really focused on the band in a while, I've had a lot of shit going on andf it kinda just slid to the back of my mind, but Roadtrip have been a massive part of my life. Each of you (including Mikey and Jack) have helped me through something major and you've all been there for me. I've been a roadie since 2015, and although this is sad to think about, I do honestly think it's for the best. With that said, I'd like to thank you for all the memories, happy and sad. I'd like to thank you for the friends I made, for being my first gig, and for saving my life on multiple occassions. Thanks for alwaysv supporting me and always being there and I wish you all the best x

I know this isn't the point of the video, and I'm truly heartbroken that it has come to this, but none of us want to see the boys, especially Rye, struggling because of someone else's childish actions so if you set up a Go Fund Me, share it with us. I know it's a difficult time in the world right now, but I'm blessed to not be affected by this financially, and I would hate to see you flounder because of this. I'm sure other Roadies feel the same way, and would love to help if they are in the position to do so. All the love, and I hope one day you will come back to the States for whatever reason and that I could finally meet you.
