I like the blanket in the natural color, it seems like your little doggie does too. 😁

As someone who has knit for over a dozen years, if you don't have enough yarn to leave long tails between skeins and weave them into the back of the work, use fabric glue to secure each side of the knot. You don't want all that hard work to go to waste by having the joined ends slip apart on you either from use or cleaning...and yes I am speaking from experience.😭

It definitely inspires me to try and do my own! The way you explained it made it so much easier than I thought it would be. Also I totally never thought about looking at eBay for yarn but that’s such a good idea because yarn can get pretty pricey! I’m making a blanket for my hubby and I and the type of yarn I’m using can get pretty expensive so I’m gonna have to check out eBay. Micheals does have some good sales on yarn around this time too. I’d say if you do dye it you’d definitely have to add more dye and maybe less water to make it more concentrated. It looks really pretty the way it is though.🙂

I have seen thicker yarn there before but not in as much bulk and not as often, but i have noticed different dollar store locations have different products that maybe another one dosnt have for whatever reason. thx for this video its perfect just what im looking for and i love the aesthetics you go for our pinterest saves are the same i love it LOL

Очень отмосферно) огонь на втором плане)
Можно спицей , или палочкой от суши.
Узелок надо посильнее завязывать. А то после стирки развяжется

Not sure what your blanket fiber is, but you could try dying it with a dye specifically for that fiber since it won't take regular rit dye if there's any man made element to it OR try incorporating a binding agent like used in dying paper fibers to intensify the color saturation...OR just add chunky pom Poms at the edges made of the color yarn you initially wanted to incorporate in a more predictable way, that way you can change them later if you get bored and you still have a neutral blanket!

Oh, just re-listened, yep, def need a dye for synthetics...not that those other ideas wouldn't still work if it's not what you wanted!

Acrylic is very hard to dye. Rut has a dye for synthetics but you have to boil the thing for at least an hour and need huge pot. AND the word is pronounced like rain (Skain) skein.

*It’s a great idea to knit a blanket and send it to Australia. We are 5 days into 2020 and the country is burning down. Half a billion animals have tragically died, and blankets are being accepted for the animals that barely managed to escape but got sent to veterinary centres.*
