Rothstein giving Ginger his whole world basically is a comforting reminder that even bosses slip up - don’t b to hard on yourself. Shawty was a handmade, finely tailored and fresh pressed red flag
I used to work in Casinos as well. In particular, Rio back when it was arguably the most popular casino in Vegas at the time(mid/late 90s).I used to frequent the sportsbook inside the Stardust(aka Tangiers) as well. lol. Good times.
They used to count the money by hand. They would weigh the coins to get a count. Pretty sure they came up with the counting machines just so they could stop the skim. The old days of Las Vegas were wild as hell.
Thank you guys for watching this. I think the length and being an older film scares people off. It is a bit long but its so interesting and lots of funny moments.
One thing I've always felt that Casino had over Goodfellas was that the characters in Goodfellas were way more likable and you couldn't help but root for them in their criminal lifestyle, but in Casino the characters were awful people and you were praying for their downfall.
Ahhh ok. There’s one phrase (used to be two) how we can ALWAYS find out who our people are. “My baby”. 😂. What up doe has been dragged into other cities too so we can’t necessarily go by that anymore 😂.
Enjoyed your reactions VERY much! If you haven't already, I'd love to see you react to 007's Casino Royale and the other 4 Daniel Craig Bond movies. Happy New Year to you both!! 🎉😊❤
Sharon Stone was a baddie!!! Damn, she's fine and from a town near me in Pennsylvania. That bat scene in the corn field is still hard to watch. Nicky deserved it but shit, it's brutal
Obviously they know that, "reactioncompilationallstars"; that's why they keep saying "It's not like that ANYMORE" or "It's not like that THESE DAYS." See how the English language works? Now I understand why your videos suck, and why you always choose the lamest, low-hanging fruit to comp! Such an embarrassment to the reactors, I always feel so bad for them when I see their faces pop up in your thumbnails.
What happened to the mafia is the RICO statute, gangsters went from looking at 5 to 10 yrs for their crimes to staring down the barrel of 100 yr sentences and everybody started flipping
@ Yep. The Mob actually carved the original Las Vegas out of the desert with crooked Teamsters Union money. They then proceeded to drain as much corrupt cash from it as possible. Some of the people on here that are based on real people are Mo Green, Ace and Nicky Santaro is based on the real life mob captain sent there from Chicago Anthony"Ant" Spilotro. Look this guy up. His resemblance to Joe Pesci is crazy! And this guy and his whole team were ruthless killers in real life. The mob actually did beat Nicky and his brother to death and buried him in a cornfield. This much stuff I know is true.
@NerdTV313 - Goodfellas explains it best. In order to be a member of a crew or a "made man", you have to be 100% Italian, so that they can trace roots all the way back to the old country.
The Tangiers casino in real life is the Stardust casino. Robert de niro's character in real life is Frank, Lefty Rosenthal. Joe Pesci's character in real life is Tony, The Ant spilatro. Also, Sharon Stone's character was a showgirl, not a hustler. There is a documentary called Vegas and The Mob that was aired in 1996. The documentary is part of a show called American justice. I think you can probably stream It today.
The movie takes place well over 40 years ago. so It's def not gonna be anything like what you know casinos for today.... Anyways it's based a very real story but MANY NAMES were changed. I think you should watch History Buff's video on casino. it has a couple million views, he basically lets you know all the real moments and moments that didn't really happen. he also adds and tells you even more of the actual story. so it makes the movie much more interesting after that fact.
Yeah truth be told it probably would have fell apart eventually. But honestly the main thing that started the inquiry and beginning of the downfall was ace not playing the game correct and like you said his pride not at least finding some job for the commissioners brother in law and being so smug, the parading his face all over the place.
@@NerdTV313 well I have seen other reactions to this film and none of them do this. You can even see the movie clearly. So I was thinking maybe it's probably you wanted to cover your ass further. Which I understand of course :P But I don't think it's necessary considering how common it is :)
No I literally mean RUclips makes its own edits lol. Maybe bc our reaction is over a hr long and most reactions on this film isn’t even a hr, or those other reactors aren’t being paid by RUclips because copyright claim is extremely real on this platform lol
It would be so good if you could have the character and strength to forgo your nicotine addiction for the time it takes to watch a movie. After three minutes of watching you puff away...I tuned out.
That was hilarious, great reaction as always!
Thank you!! 😁
The acting on Sharon Stone's part was incredible in this movie
Yea she made a believer outta us lmao
@@lincolnlewis6979 - She got robbed at the Oscar's for this role.
@@blackeychan1970 really, why did I have it in my head that she won...I agree this was definitely Oscar worthy
Movie couldn't be any better. It had no dull moments. Great storyline and well put together. Great reaction guys.
The most entertained we’ve been 💯
I just started watching you guys and I usually don't like watching these reaction things but you guys are awesome and genuine
Oh wow we’re blessed and hope you enjoyed!
This reaction was hilarious and I loved it

Rothstein giving Ginger his whole world basically is a comforting reminder that even bosses slip up - don’t b to hard on yourself. Shawty was a handmade, finely tailored and fresh pressed red flag
Damn that’s a perfect way to put it!
I used to work in Casinos as well. In particular, Rio back when it was arguably the most popular casino in Vegas at the time(mid/late 90s).I used to frequent the sportsbook inside the Stardust(aka Tangiers) as well. lol. Good times.
Oh wow must’ve been a good time to be a dealer!
The intro is supposed to look like Sam falling into the pits of hell. I love this movie
Oh wow that makes a lot of sense!
You two are the best. I really enjoy this channel.
Wow, thank you! Check out some other vids and happy new year!
Your reaction to Ginger was perfect.
And very genuine lol. Hope you enjoyed!
Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks is a must.
Definitely looking into it
Favorite Casino reaction 💯💯💯💯
Glad you enjoyed! 💯💪🏽🔥
Y'all have some clean reactions, respect the effort.
Appreciate that
They used to count the money by hand. They would weigh the coins to get a count. Pretty sure they came up with the counting machines just so they could stop the skim. The old days of Las Vegas were wild as hell.
Had to because I wouldn’t trust nobody 😂
This is a good movie. I first watched ot pn a flight ✈️ from ATL to SEA a couple of years ago. Btw, Happy New Year 🎊!
Happy new year and hope you enjoyed!
@NerdTV313 Thank you, and you're welcome 😁!

I get mad at Ginger every time I see this movie. Fumbled the bag and a good man
She stressed us out so much 🤦♂️
😂😂😂😂
Masterpiece Movie
Definitely beautiful start to finish
Just a comment to keep the algorithm going. 👍🏻
Legend! Hope you enjoyed the reaction 🙏💯🔥
The crazy thing is 25k in 1973 is 173k in todays money
Yea he was justified in his actions lol

That’s a good point! Sam was alright for like the first 15 mins 😂
My favorite mob movie by far
It’s 🔥🔥🔥

Lmao you feel me 💪🏽🔥💯🦁
The reason this is so similar to Goodfellas is because it's the same director
Scorsese is a treasure
I remember the scene where the guys head is in the vice traumatized me the first time I watched it.
Yea we’re not the biggest fans of gore lol
Enjoyed your reactions VERY much! If you haven't already, I'd love to see you react to 007's Casino Royale and the other 4 Daniel Craig Bond movies.
Happy New Year to you both!! 🎉😊❤
Oh we haven’t seen a 007 ever I believe lmao. We will definitely look into it & happy you enjoyed! ❤️🙏
Ace was right about the blueberries in the muffins.
He was definitely manager of the year lmao
It showed what a control freak he was
Great reaction , please react to Zero dark Thirty 🔥
We were definitely looking at some war movies!
Sharon Stone was a baddie!!! Damn, she's fine and from a town near me in Pennsylvania. That bat scene in the corn field is still hard to watch. Nicky deserved it but shit, it's brutal
The whole cast was 🔥 & the scene was really tough to watch
This movie setting was 50 years ago. Of course it is not the same. The rules were created to stop what they were doing
Corporations don’t play none of that lmao. But I’ve heard the casinos still ran by the natives are pretty loose.

In the book Frank retired to owning a restaurant where he sat in the loft/rafters and buzzed at staff if they didn't do something to his standards.
Lmao sounds like a good retirement

Great Movie.
Easily top 3 mob movies
Nothing personal only business
That’s all it is! 👌💯
You guys should watch the Godfather III next.
Will definitely look into it!
A true story
We can believe it
Another mob movie worth watching is Donnie Brasco.
Definitely looking into it! Heat might be our next movie tho
The young ladies reactions had me rolling 😂. The moment when she said “she’s a dumb B…” the reaction elevated from B+ to AAA++ 😂😂😂😂
Lmao happy you enjoyed 💯
Ginger was for the Streets!! And Sam was the ultimate Simp/Gump!
We were arguing cause I said this exact same thing 😂
Yeah, this movie was definitely based off of true life events... There's documentaries that corroborate this.... It's a classic!
That is insane to hear!

It’s a lot of history with the mob but it’s so crazy to think crime was going so unregulated lol
Oh yea we definitely realized the times have changed lmao
He is the county commissioner.
And he should’ve hired his brother in law back 😂
Nicky was an actual member of the secret society , and a captain. Arnold was not a 100 percent Italian so he wasn't apart of the club.

The real life Ace didn't passed away until like 20 or 30 years later
Oh wow he lived his whole life
21:29 No way Ace lets him out with the money. He would get the hammer--that's it.
Ace ran a tight ship 😂

You have to watch “A Bronx tale” another classic NYC mob movie. I like it more than Casino.

Exactly! His pride was outta control lol but yea it would’ve collapsed eventually.
This right here is what created the rules you worked under.
The gaming board fasho seen this movie 😂
I personally like this movie better than Goodfellas. Robert De Niro Joe Pesci and James Woods are so good in this
A1 cast!
Can't see it😮
RUclips’s copyright system. If you’d like to watch the film it’s on peacock atm. Hope you enjoyed the commentary!
What's wrong with the audio in this upload? On many parts at random is goes silent and we miss your commentary as former casino employees :(
Copyright claims. Either mute a few minutes or no one would be able to see the video. It’s roughly about 5 mins in total randomly though out
