    Great video! The Fireball Tools fixture table makes for quick and accurate work. Big time saver and makes your work turn out EXACTLY the way your customer wanted it. Thank you for sharing your fabricating journey.

    You must of spent 30k on all that. Awsome stuff. You need to do a shop tour inside and out your place looks amazing.

      Fortunately not $30k, but at just over $12k, it's a giant leap for the budget of this startup. We moved into this shop as we built our house and vast amounts of randomness followed. I need a significant amount of shuffling and purging before there would be any entertainment value in a shop tour. Currently, it's a blend of metal shop, mechanic shop, yard/lawn maintenance, hunting gear, house construction tools & job remnants, etc. It could make a lot of you feel better about your shops and garages.

      They did a better deal on blemish tables, for something thatll last forever if you look after it that saves you a hell of a lot of work making it yourself, and saves any mistakes I think it's a fair deal.

    Yes, yes you were excited. So excited you started filming before you'd prepped your workspace. I understand the excitement of a new "toy" however!

      It was my rush to get a new slug gun scoped and sighted in before dark that was the big motivator. I couldn't find a cardboard board box large enough, so making the target stand idea came to mind. My excitement for the table skyrocketed as I discovered how fast, accurate, and simple the table made this project. It's a little disappointing the workspace wasn't prepped, but the real goal of getting sighted-in was accomplished.

    Well welcome to RUclips, just subscribed, will be interesting to see how you get on over the coming months. I have been looking at welding tables for a while (just small ones) but really like what Jason has done with those tables, been on his channel for years. How you managed to get one is a puzzle, as he seems to be sold out all the time, even stocked out in Europe. We can get Fireball Tools tables here in the UK, but they are imperial and even now in my 60's I still prefer metric having been brought up on Imperial. I note he is doing a 28mm table, but that would be truly overkill for me. Best of luck going forward.

    • @rustedox3174
      @rustedox3174  Год назад

      It took a while of checking daily to find one in stock, but it was worth it. I wish we were on the metric system, unfortunately, I don't use it enough to be proficient with it.

    Making your frame square saves time in the proceeding operations, such as cutting the panel square with minuim effort. The clamps are as important as the stops, together they are a system.

    The Rusted Ox must have hit the lottery... There's easily $12k worth of table, squares, clamps, etc. there. I have owned several of the fireball squares for a few years now and can confirm that they are invaluable. Once you fabricate with them, you will NEVER look at another cheap magnetic HF square again. Seriously, they are a must have, and worth every penny.

      No lotteries for me, but that option would have been less painful. Tool investments rank higher in my world view than most things, my old truck is proof of that. It pulls a dump trailer that is worth more. Maybe I have my priorities mixed up this table is awesome and worth saving for

    • @matthewpeterson3329
      @matthewpeterson3329 Год назад

      @@rustedox3174 Nope, your priorities seem appropriate and I feel the same way. Buy once, cry once. I actually bought Jason's plans for the homemade bench vise, and though it didn't turnout exactly like his (I don't own a fancy plasma cutter like his, just a basic 2D table) the vise is every bit as functional and SOOOOO damned strong! Once you get yourself all organized, you might consider buying his plans for $5 and make it a project for a video. It was actually pretty easy and fun... and quite a conversation piece in the shop.

    the table is super nice, but no way id buy this behemoth for a back yard hobby shop, for 12k I can build a killer plate table 1 inch or 1.5 inches thick and drill the holes I need when the job requires it. that money would go a long way for some nice tools and equipment that would be in much higher demand on a regular basis.

    • @rustedox3174
      @rustedox3174  Год назад

      no doubt about it, but there are a lot of areas where I can use a cheap tool and get by (like my 1999 truck), haven't seen that option for the functions this table system performs.
