the year was 1980 i was a maid at the Alphorn hotel at the foot of snowking right next to the radio station being a maid i had a free pass to snowking and a room to rent for $100 a month i was also a dishwasher at Antony's Italian restaurant $8 an hour and free food even on my days off life was really ,really good even though there was no gondola and the chairlift leaked oil on you Bill Briggs was head of the ski school and at that time he was the only one who had skied the Grand Teton
