The suit will never work. It doesn't matter what the suit is made of. If you travel at 200km/he and come to a sudden stop, you're going to get fucked up, no matter what suit you're wearing.
@Meme Pog I'm talking about when the suit crashes into things 🤦♂️ It's supposedly meant to protect the person inside Idc how tough the metal is. You're getting fucked up inside the suit either way. If you're flying around and smack into something, if you fall off a 5 storey building, if you have to crash land into the sand (like the very first suit in Ironman 1). I am also an EE, and a fan of Iron Man but here are some thoughts: 1. Building the second suit in that many little pieces of metal that move like that with intricate movements will produce an overall weak overall suit strength. It won't be bullet-proof let alone fly. 2. Having all small parts made from a metal that is light enough to fly and strong enough to be bulletproof does not exist. 3. Supersonic flight will introduce so much heat into the structure he will cook like a hotdog in foil. Not to mention it will warp the structure and won't be able to get out of it. SR71 warps, so will this. 4. Let alone all metals will fail if heated to this level structurally as thin as they are shown in the movie. He couldn't hold up his head supersonic, turning it will snap his head off his shoulders and arms off his body at 1/4 these speeds. This suit will disintegrate with him in it. Let alone having control over supersonic flight to out-maneuver two F22's again without any ailerons and wings just not possible. 5. Jarvis would require a computer the size of a room to do those supercomputer calculations at the speeds it does in the movie. Even if Jarvis was ground based and accessed through a communication module, there would be lapses in range and altitude and the speed of those transfers of that much data are not possible with today's telecommunication devices to circumnavigate the globe in space with full high speed data to run a supercomputer. My Electronic Engineering degree is in Telecom emphasis. 6. Easy enough to beat the icing problem with 3.3GJ/s you can make hot exo-suit to melt the ice, warm the person inside and thats not even using NASA insulation tech like ceramic coatings, Aspen Aerogel insulation and vacuum sealing the body in a temperature controlled chamber. This is the most probable to fix out of the problems outlined here. 7. The military has some of these weapons already that are light enough to use in a suit like this, that can incapacitate people non lethally using different kinds of sound waves. DARPA made a lot of this tech. They were going to use it in crowd control but ultimately deemed it inhumane treatment. 8. The most improbable part of the suit is the repulsior tech. If it was powerful enough to do what it does in the movie, Tony's arm would snap off every time he fired it at someone. For every pound of force forward, there is a pound pushing back on his arm. If you have enough force to knock a man back 50 ft then that is how much force is pushing on one arm. Can a man hit someone with enough force to knock him back 50 feet with one arm? No. His arm would be shattered. And if you are supposing that the suit takes the force then there is still a problem in the fact that he does not weigh enough to not move an inch with that much force applied to his body stationary. He would fly back the opposite direction less than
Lets see how huge first computer compared to today? Now we only need smart phone instead of computer to do much things. Bruce Wayne (Batman Begins) "why isn't it mass production?" referring to the Armour he would later wear as Batman. Lucious Fox " Bean counters didn't think a soldier's life was worth 300 grand."
Don't make the mistake that the technology released to and known by the public or even the military is the highest tech we have. We probably already have the suit and the small free energy source as well as field propulsion flight. Also, combustion is no longer needed so you don't have to carry your fuel...we already have field propulsion which can also be called reverse-engineered ET tech.
what ya gonna use for high output energy? Nothing nuclear will do. His AI Jarvis is way beyond anything possible in the foreseeable future. If you understood the Armour he has even old school wise. You would realize that some of it is just not feasible with current knowledge. How do you get 1000lbs of thrust out of the bottom of a boot? His jet is 1 inch thick. Should we dream big YES reach for the Stars YES always. Is today the day probably not but don't stop reaching.
@@malinournmalinourn5529 when u have billions stolen every year by secret gov and non gov sources theres no way to kno what is REALLY possible....there are videos of machines in space morphing into other machines so I believe the tech already exists now but only a select few are allowed to kno about it which is complete BS...
We won't have an actual, fully functional Iron Man armor until we somehow invent inertial dampeners, given that the wearer would need something like that to negate the impact of anything hitting the suit from just transfering to them. As it stands, with current technology, even if you made a suit able to do everything the suit can do in the movies, the first missile that hits you or the first time you're thrown through a wall, your organs are going to be turned to jelly and your bones to powder, even if the suit itself is undamaged. Honestly, it seems nothing short of miraculous that Tony survived the fall in his cave suit after he launched into the sky and fell back down into the desert.
Check out the hacksmith, he’s decently close o making a actual iron man suit, he has the helmet, the repulsors, and now he just needs the body part and tech display
First of all the thrusters are just lasers. He can’t fly. Second the helmet is the easiest part of the suit to make since it’s basically a screen on your face. It’s impressive I get hit it isn’t close at all.
Maybe he used too much of the energy, more than it could produce. In the first Iron Man, he used the first arc reactor that he made in the cave because Stane took his new one, and the Mark 3 used too much power for the reactor
It's because it ran out of nuclear fuel, while it has nuclear fuel it makes a crap ton of power, but because of how he would always use the suit, it run out much faster.
We don't even have a viable power source. Plus, we don't have this smart of an AI such as Friday or Jarvis. Imagine having Siri powering your suit. "Siri, will I be able to get there in time?" "I'm not sure what you're talking about."
Not as quick as computers. We have always been looking for better and more compact ways to get more energy to our disposal, don't think in the next 50 years we will have an arc reactor like that in the movie, i would even say it is unlikely it will happen in the next 100 years

Imagine, we might be able to see these things in our lifetime. Technology really literally and figuratively skyrocketing.
If the "Arc Reactor" is already in "testing" , i think that in 1000 years we might have something like the Iron-Man suit
Fingers crossed!
We will be all dead already

Former Lockheed Martin Exec: "Whatever you think we are capable of, we're actually 50-100 yrs ahead of that."
MyKidsFuture Spoken like a true charlatan.
So, according to this video, we are miles away.
More like galaxies billions of light years away
Meme quote: well yes but actually no
How close are we to an Iron man suit
Me: WATCH THE HACKSMITH.
Exactly 👍
Far af away
Watch Alex Labs
He pnly made it in vr not the actually screen off the movie
Really I Am Amazed.
Hacksmith:Hold my captin america sheild, my arc reactor, thors hammer and my light saber
if we end up making an iron man suite hacksmith should Ware it
Maybe 70-140 years to develop and “arc reactor”
have you watched hacksmith
@@QUINCEEOFFICIAL yup, his vids just take existing mechanics and customize it in some way to get little kids to think that he is smart
No it would be about 20 years
We do have the technology so it could happen but it would take some time to work out it out
In 20 years
Check out the hacksmith, he’s decently close o making a actual iron man suit, he has the helmet, the repulsors, and now he just needs the body part and tech display
First of all the thrusters are just lasers. He can’t fly. Second the helmet is the easiest part of the suit to make since it’s basically a screen on your face. It’s impressive I get hit it isn’t close at all.
actually Alex lab is the closest because he made the Iron Man repulsor like the real one with shockwaves like bruh what
Jlaser made a whole mk 5
It had Jarvis and repulses and it worked excactly like mk 5 that just went on him and folded in to the suitcase
If gas is a problem when going aerodynamic, just use the same technology that windmills use as power.
WDYM?
@@Cyancat123 just put windmills at the bottom of your feet
Not enough power output in a short enough time, even before taking air resistance into account
I was always confused by the fact that the arc reactor had unlimited energy, yet iron man kept running out of power.
Maybe he used too much of the energy, more than it could produce. In the first Iron Man, he used the first arc reactor that he made in the cave because Stane took his new one, and the Mark 3 used too much power for the reactor
UNLIMITED POWEEEEEEEEEER
It's because it ran out of nuclear fuel, while it has nuclear fuel it makes a crap ton of power, but because of how he would always use the suit, it run out much faster.
3:17 daaamn! Best thing in this video
oh dear
A day ago somewhere they published a video about iron mans suit being tested. Just watched it a few hours ago
Edit: the video is from CNET
watched too many movies
First Team no, not a fan of marvel. I’m a DC fan
it was a guy wearing a cosplay suit with gravity jets
In other words, instead of Ironman suits, we get Mobile Suits. Yay Gundam
The answer is simple. However close we are to finding what tony stark used to power his suit. The power source was everything.
Be amazed you never fail to amaze me in weird ways keep it up dude ;)
I think " yes that's possible" , there gonna be some revolution
If we combine all the tech together 😀😀
Palm size power source is the key
People: **Are making Iron Man suit quite easily**
Tony Stark who spent ages making it and locking the reactor onto his chest: no
The original iron Man didn't have that thing on his chest he couldn't walk that the truth
We don't even have a viable power source. Plus, we don't have this smart of an AI such as Friday or Jarvis. Imagine having Siri powering your suit.
"Siri, will I be able to get there in time?"
"I'm not sure what you're talking about."
Hacksmith has alredy made an arcreactor dummy
ALEX LAB
He's the closest one in making an actual working Iron Man Suit. Not just an armor with jet propulsion.
So it just like the computer, it was as big as a house .
So the energy will turn smaller....
After 50 years :v
Not as quick as computers.
We have always been looking for better and more compact ways to get more energy to our disposal, don't think in the next 50 years we will have an arc reactor like that in the movie, i would even say it is unlikely it will happen in the next 100 years
I forgot i even wrote this comment
1:34 this dude was walking down stairs when there was an escalator lmao
He was probably practising how to use it properly in stairs,dummy!!..
It is possible, everything is possible if you try it harder 👍🏻👍🏻 good luck for those scientists and me

The summary of This is that we're probably not going to get one for the next 20 years
The Iron Man Suit is made out of a Titanium Gold Alloy, not Iron.
Yes it is possible. Sometimes what happens is hard things are easy to solve. We just need to look through it.
can we create ironman???
well the ans is:yes *but* *no*
Yes.
OK So ELON MUSK is not the only person in the ""REAL LIFE IRON MAN "" Title.
anything is possible with money, time, and above all else CREATIVITY :D as long as its used for good not evil :D

My grandson is so lucky.....
Sure Iron Man/Tony Stark is a character in fiction, but it could be possible to build the suit itself.
Great powers come with great responsibility.
That's why when Tony hears the name Iron man for him he says It's not iron, It's a gold titanium alloy.
A gold titanium alloy doesnt make any sense in real life. Gold isn't very strong and would just make the armor weaker than just using titanium.
@@Julian-pw5mv Actually a titanium gold alloy is 3 to 4 times stronger the steel, which titanium is a strong as steel but lighter.
Dude I am talking about titanium gold alloy not gold.
And yes I understand gold is much much weaker then titanium.
Big fam👍💯....love your videos😎❤️....keep up the good work!
No need to take tension guys , I am here to make iron man suit and also make it real.
