  • This demonstration shows a customer's lighting rig for his band under the control of the Force 1.0. The light show is created in real-time without any programming. A 3D visualizer was used in order to demonstrate to the customer how the Force 1.0 would perform - all lights were arranged based on customer description of rig and stage configuration.

Unusable for techno when it refuses to settle into a 32 bar groove. Thing changes its mind every 4 bars. The scenes within those moments are pretty cool though. I’d like to select a color palette for my night, can I tell it to NEVER stray from red and yellow? These two features would make me buy

Yes, you can set any color combo you’d like and force it to just use those indefinitely.
The effects engine was designed to be as creative as possible in both the effects generation and its decision making process. We may design in an option to allow users to select the frequency it is allowed to transition if there’s enough requests.
Here’s an example of how it performs unconstrained as it is now:

Is there a specific interface the force 1 works better with for 3d visualizers? eDMX1 Max works?? Thanks for any info.

As long as the interface is compatible with your particular computer and the visualizer then there shouldn’t be a difference in terms of performance from one to another. We’ve personally used the ENTTEC DMX USB Pro with Capture. We haven’t used the eDMX1 Max so we’d recommend reaching out to the company producing the visualizer you are using to confirm.

Hello, Is the 3D software included in the force 1.0 app ?

    • @A.I.Lightshow

Hi. No, this visualizer is from a 3rd party manufacturer. It’s called Capture. It’s not bundled with the Force 1.0 but it can be purchased separately through them.

I want to love this software, but it looks like a sound to light on most fixtures
    Same with Ape Labs Musikmode
I’ll keep subscribed and see developments but for now it’s underwhelming

      Hi Jason,
I’d recommend you watch some real demos instead of a 3D visualizer before drawing your own conclusion. See link below. You’ll notice that the effects being generated are a combination of pixel mapping and fixture mapping approaches, each requiring a level of intelligence that you’ll never get from sound reactive type lights on the market now. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it’s of course entirely up to you whether this looks appealing or not.
