    Video Description
    ~~~~~~
    Happy Friday, everyone.
    I have another PISEN product to review for you today.
    This was sent to me recently, along with a couple of their other mobile accessories.
    #pisen #android #androidreview
    Here we have their PowerMag Digital Magnet 2-in-1 Power Bank.
    In the box, we have power bank itself. . .the user manual, and the same tiny USB cable that we saw packaged with their earbuds.
    Instructions
    There isn't much to this, but we do have a single button that has multiple functions.
    So we can turn it on or off with a normal button press.
    This can be turned off by pressing the button twice.
    And it says we can switch between low-power mode by performing a long-press on the button.
    Which you can see does make a line circle around the second number. . .but in my experience, even this is spotty at best.
    what I like
    So I actually like the look of the product.
    It's small enough to fit in compact areas for storage and its weight is light enough that you aren't going to be bogged down throughout the day.
    I really like the materials as well.
    The outside rail feels like its metal, so that adds to the durability of this PISEN power bank.
    And it even has a little kickstand that you can use to hold the power bank up. . .which also doubles as a stand for your phone too.
    When you go to wirelessly charge a smartphone.
    The built-in magnet to make it compatible with magsafe products is also nice.
    Which in theory, should help to keep the wireless charging connection secured. . .but that doesn't seem to be the case in my experience.
    for me, it also functions well as a power bank.
    it has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, so it won't completely refill the battery of my Pixel 7 Pro, since it also has a 5,000mAh battery
    but in most cases, that would help to fill it up to 80% which is what I always target anyway
    what I dislike
    So while I have no issue with the wired charging portion of this power bank
    I have not had any good experience trying to use it as a wireless charger
    I've tried my Pixel 7 Pro numerous times
    and while you can see it connects enough to begin charging wirelessly. . .that connection cuts out within 10-15 seconds in most cases
    I also tested this with my girlfriend's Galaxy S21 Ultra, and it has the same result
    the wireless charger does make a connection
    and it does begin charging it
    but that doesn't last very long at all
    I also think this tiny cable is useless.
    it's so short
    and both ends are not usb-c. so it can only really be used to recharge the power bank itself
    which is a bit of a let down
    conclusion
    So while there are a few features of the PISEN 2-in-1 PowerMag power bank that I actually like
    it falls apart when trying to charge a device wirelessly so it's not something that I can recommend that you purchase
    this may be different if you use a compatible magsafe device with it.
    but I can't confirm that to be the case
    it's also possible that my unit is defective
    so if you use this pisen power bank as a wireless charger without any issues, then please let us know about it down in the comments section below
    I just got the same one myself to review. My biggest problem is the magnet is so weak. There’s no way that I would use this as a back up battery like they stated and on one of my iPhones it just does not make any magnetic connection whatsoever.
