    If I could speak to Yolanda directly I'd tell her I'm sorry she had to go through all of it and then still paying a price for taking a stand. Sometimes, for whatever reason, wild things happen to the grandest of people. She's an undeniable force and I'm inclined to believe this will all not be in vain. She spoke so well for herself and I have no doubt in my mind that good things are on the way.

    Just at exactly 13:44 of her story brought back memories of a rape case that took place in 2015 at Stanford University in the US - search People v. Brock Turner , Turner raped a student under the very circumstances who was drunk and unconscious. This story has so much similarities with that case. My question now is were these boys following the case because it made national news it was on almost every news channel in the US at the time in South Africa we had access to CNN? There’s just too many similarities for me.

      I'm not one to scorn men before they're proven guilty for rape and there are alot of instances of men being falsely accused. But try being spiked, it's not nice. You lose all your senses and have no power or any consciousness. it's very different from just heavy drinking. She couldn't consent to having sex, so they took advantage of her and used a substance to do so. I mean maybe she could've watched her drink and been more vigilant and conscious of her decisions but she wasn't. Oksalayo she woke up the next day, having clear indicators of rape and was lied to. 🧎🏾‍♀️

      @masegoblessing4782 18 дней назад +17

      She's saying multiple time "rape" ... people who are raping must be blamed and charged, her drunkeness has nothing to do with the movement. Listen with comprehension, don't just hear her words. Drunk or not, reckless or not rape culture is something that's happening in our country and that's the enemy.

      @@AkhonaCele-n2j There are not a lot of men being falsely accused. There are, however, many women who are truly raped.
