Great Going!!!This channel is fast evolving as one of the honest reviews of college and branch.
Please make an urgent detailed video of CSSS OF IIIT DELHI covering semesterwise difference of subjects as compared to CSE ( As lot of subjects are missing from semesterlist) , pros and cons, compulsory SS subjects and a table on white board to add electives to make it comparable with cse and finally placement of CSSS in 2019/ 20.

The answer's a bit late so don't mind, but 2nd year onwards per semester only 1 subject is different from cse in csss. A math elective or OS subject is substituted by an SS subject. This may be a deterrent if u want to get into academia into top tier universities(i.e, join research work and professorship) as you're missing on few math courses used in core computer science, but from placement point of view you're missing nothing, as you'll be learning some extra math or algorithm and data structure to get placed as an sde anyway, so it wouldn't matter if u learnt it by urself or in class.

PEC is between tier 1 and tier 2.
U can't put PEC in tier 2
But you also cannot put it in tier 1.
PEC,s placements are somewhat comparable to top NIT,s.
And there is a possibility that PEC is gonna be converted into IIT Chandigarh.

*Don't get into Trap of IIT Tag to showOff to other by choosing lower branch* Instead Always choose Top NITs, NSUT or DTU Computer branch!! (Take IIT if you get IIIT except IIIT Hyderabad)
Take IIT if you get IIIT? I'd say only take IIT over IIIT if you're getting CS/ECE at one of the top 10-ish IITs. IIITH, IIITA, IIITD (and IIITB but only if you want Masters) with CS are all better than any IIT's lower branch. The lower IITs are definitely better than lower IIITs though

@@akshayrajput1374 No idea tbh...try searching about it online, on youtube, forums, packages, quora etc to get a good idea. I'd say check out IIIT Lucknow first; it's new but it's very promising with 18+ lakh average CTC and strong coding culture (as they began under mentorship of the successful IIIT-Allahabad)...Gwalior ke baare mein I have no idea except that their cutoffs are probably comparable to IIIT-L

@@chakrabortypc It started only a week ago, so can't be too sure but it seems pretty good so far! Of course, if you want coding culture and placements, IIITH is the best place in India. 5 year program includes mandatory research though, which some people like, some dislike, and most like me aren't sure if they like it or not XD

@ABHAY SINGH haha it's cool that you know my percentile, presumably from another comment on a separate video. Well, yes, 99.35 obviously isn't good enough for even ECE let alone CS but I did qualify IIITH-UGEE exam which is independent of JEE, qualified the interview (online this year, unfortunately) and hence got selected. I'm not a Delhite so 99.35 isn't gonna get me IIITD either (no bonus for me), hence chose IIITH's 5-year course without second thought

if we take lower branch in iits atleast then we have other options also for that:-
(1) we can go for tech jobs with a iitian tag after that we all would be same there or
(2) we would be prefered more than any other college student in any field we work.
Its totally myth, didn't want to hurt ur sentiments but in work feild example in software company no one is going to give a fuck about your college after couple of years whether u r in iit or not...peace no offense

The whole "IIT ka tag" doesn't mean shit in today's world in the IT sector bcz if you are skilled enough you will get a job regardless of your college/branch (eg. striver,100gb,kunal kushwaha and many more....have cracked big companies without being from IIT)

Bhaiya i am getting CSE in IIIT-D, top 3 NITs. I am clear that i want to take cse and i want to do extra activities like GSOC, competitive programming etc. I was sure about opting IIIT-D earlier. However, now,given the 4 months we have lost, do you think opting IIIT-D is a good option? In a normal year itself, life at IIIT-D seems so hectic. So now since we might not get summer breaks also, will i get time to participate in GSOC and other competitive programming events?

U can get in first round itself, but u have to be serious and consistent as ur in 11th and 12th to survive in IIIT, if you want to have chill college life try to get DTU but with 11k non-local delhi general u can get low branch in last round ( check college pravash web to check almost very college cutoff )

I am completely messed up searching about the right college to join. I am getting CS in IIITs (except Gwalior, Jabalpur, Allahabad, Lucknow) and I am also getting other branches(civil, EE, ECE, Mech) in NITs.
WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE. PLEASE TELL

Well, I am still not sure.
CS is my passion. I've been learning it since class 11 and have learnt 3 or 4 languages. I also make projects.
In my school days I always wanted to learn all these in depth in college.
I am confused because I think whether I will be able to cope up with other branches or not.

Since your comment is 3 weeks old, I guess kuch na kuch toh decision final ho gya hoga.. So what's your take on this now?

msit ki placements kafi achi thi iss baar...like avg was aroud 6.5 to 7...due to few students cracking amazon and adobe...aur IP ka atmosphere acha hote jaa rha hai because of general students under 40k or 70k taking admissions in these colleges jabse jee mains ke base pe start hua hai..aur yeh info 10-15 log jo hai hai aur apne institute ke manager aur teachers se pooch ke bata rha hoon so yeah....its worth it now..

@@UnknownGuy-lk9ow delhi ke top 5 clg me se h......IITD,NSUT,DTU,IIITD ke baad yhi ek sahi clg h....USICT aur IPU ke clg se achcha h....avg package bhi 2020 ka 15lpa h for CS.....core me thik thak placement h.....aur fees to sirf 16k h 1 yr ki....aur bhai dango ki baate sunke mt chhor diyo ye clg...sahi clg h!
