- We met as neighbors in 1971. We were the last generation to enjoy freedom and rode out bikes everywhere. Enjoy this video of us exploring our old stomping grounds.
I loved this. Such great memories and a golden era to be a kid. I remember and cherish all those places
Great Memories and stories as y’all remember them. Mostly accurate. Love you guys thanks for spending the time to do this.
We lived in the best of days
Lot's of good times....you were in a lot of those times!
This was amazing. You captured most of my childhood memories. Mamas Pizza was the best and then there was Ponchos across the street. It’s sad how much Perry has changed. That used to be Carrollton HS and where RLT had the line “High upon a lofty hilltop…” I moved out of state and don’t get the chance to go back home enough. Thanks for this!
Thanks for taking the time to put this together, it was great to see all the old familiar places. I can see Central Elem in my mind as clear as if it was yesterday.
Oh my gosh! I lived on Milan Way from Kindergarten (Central Elem) until 3rd grade, them moved to North Carrollton, but I still went to Perry also!
What a fun trip down memory lane 💙💚 All the old stomping grounds. I have a pic of me in front of Happening Sound. We had the best childhood. Jimmy Porter was an icon! We played ball with him all the time. And spent so many summ is at Thomas Pool. Dang! What a life!!
This is great...we were lucky kids!
That was fun! Central Elem, Perry and Turner (til I moved to NM junior year). And skating!! I would never have let my daughter do the things we did.
Kyle Luneau. Brook Fehleau, Brad Lackey and I (Douglas Blackwood) were just talking about Skateland not two weeks ago. Lots of memories there.
Hi Doug! So fun!
Actually in cross country we used the field house. Small locker room in the back right corner.
Jessica and I want to know if anyone wants to see an old photo of Bo in his skates and short shorts!!!!!!!!
We need to see that ASAP!
This shouldn’t even be a question.
Was it Coach Julian??
I think you're right!
Yes it was.
