You know what commercials bugged me? on Comedy Central they used to have those hurt dogs that need help commercials. I ended up writing them and saying people put on Comedy Central to laugh or maybe just not cry…and whenever those commercials come on we change the channel and sometimes we don’t go back. My grandpa has passed away that day and I was fed up with it. It seemed like it worked because I haven’t seen those commercials on there sense…maybe it was a coincidence…either way I’m glad.
I remember trying Hulu's free month trial and was inundated with 2 commercials over and over again. One I can't remember, and the other one was either The Gap or Old Navy, bragging that they had donated ONE million dollars worth of clothes to the homeless... It was a billion dollar corporation using a multi-million dollar ad campaign to brag that they gave %0.00001 of their quarter's profits to the homeless.
Aww, he had to mention Beavis at the end. :( I don't watch TV anymore, but we have one on in the break room at work. I find it funny seeing a commercial convincing old people to cash in their life insurance plays maybe an hour before/after one telling younger people they need to get life insurance.
What always kills me is the huge number of side effects (often including death!) that take up more of the commercial than the actual drug! And sometimes the drug commercial is followed by a commercial from a law firm offering to help you sue the drug company if you or a loved one has suffered or died from using the drug! 😂😂😂
I always picture a young chick excitedly calling her mom screaming “I did it mom! I got the part!!!” The mom says “Oh honey you made it! Moving out to LA was a great idea! We’re all so proud of you! What’s the part?” The girl responds “I got the part in the HERPES medication commercial!”
He was so annoyed by the whisper-singing that he didn't notice the ultra woke changes to the lyrics! He's right though, put scary ominous music behind that and it's a horror movie trailer.
Cable news channel special: don't take drugs, drugs are bad, drugs kill you.... Commercial during program: talk to your doctor and take our drugs and they'll take away your symptoms, but there's a chance our drugs will cause heart attacks, vomiting, tremors, coma, death or worse... anal bleeding with explosive diarrhea.
Thanks, now we will be seeing the baby in a St Jude's commercial squeezed between the hair lip kid with the mullet and old Paper Mache Bones McGillicuddy with their tiny teeth and oddly shaped head

Also enough of the 7 min long ASPCA commercial on every channel, every 5 mins. It's constant, I about break my wrist when it comes on going for the remote just to turn it and there it is.
