The Indian army has great experience with INSAS rifles. Half of the army personnel died due to this rifle in Kargil and against terrorists in Kashmir. If the government wants to kill more army personnel then they can buy these rifles.
Were you hired by Sig Sauer to write this comment?
@@pmaitrasm truth is truth you cannot deny it like Pakistanis do.
@@Robdua1968, Yes, truth is truth, and half truth is a lie. Learn to speak the COMPLETE truth.
The Indian Army had ample supply of FN-FAL rifles, but they demanded INSAS rifles during the Kargil War because the FN-FAL rifles were too heavy to be carried up the mountains. Nobody forced the army to use the INSAS.
The factories were working overtime to produce these rifles. Yes, there were some defects that have been rectified. There were also mistakes by the army. They used high viscosity lubricants that froze in the cold weather.
The Indian Army adopted the US Army's doctrine to only injure the enemy and that is why they adopted the 5.56 NATO round, which was found to be inadequate in COIN. It is not a shortcoming of INSAS. Ask the army officers to take responsibility instead of blaming INSAS.
And warfare is not a fashion show. The much hyped Sig Sauer turned out to be worse than the INSAS. Even the US soldiers who came for military exercise liked the INSAS. Yet, for some people, anything that is foreign and looks good is a good rifle.
@@pmaitrasm you cannot force army to buy rifle whose magazine get cracked and jammed in hights. Why does arm force use AK series rifles in Kashmir instead of INSAS.
@@Robdua1968, Nobody forced the army to use INSAS. The army forced the ordnance factories to work overtime to make INSAS so that they could ditch their FN-FALs.
Sir please make one detailed video on IOF made civilian weapons like shot guns pistols revolvers rifles latest version and prices etc thanks
i will try dear,
Accuracy kitni h time batayega. Wese kanpur small arm ne domestic pistal bhi banaya tha. Jo fir se bekaar ka product tha. Par baad me thoda improve kiya tha
Sig saucer ke Sath Iska Compareative trail kaisa ha
An effort should be made to make a hand grenade gun. Which should have a firing capability of up to one thousand meters at a time and firing capability of two hundred rounds in a minute.
Problems with DPSU especially guns and even other weapon systems.
1) Talk a Lot, and Deliver Very less.
2) Poor QA/QC.
3) Most of the weapons developed are Heavyweight and made not using of new manufacturing processes.
3) Cost and Time overruns.
4) PR is the worst.
5) And more concerns, I find the 7.62 NATO Assault rifle looks very bulky and heavy, as it is made up of milled receiver than to stamped, the top cover looks it needs more material removal, SIG is a very reputed gun maker, and they work well, even they to have some QC related complaints.
6) Same with the .338 LM sniper rifle no new concept, all of them are based on the same old platform like AK or FN FAL.
7) The massive failure of INSAS, makes IA to adopt any new gun from DPUS very difficult, please note INSAS was a failure due to QA/QC issues related to manufacturing, as an Engineering concept it's a good gun.
8) The only thing I like is the Bipod LMG, which is FN GPMG copy, looks like US army M240B and now in 2023 DPSU is working on it.
9) The Danush gun's delivery numbers are very less per year.
10) I know post the breakup of the OFB, things are looking bright for the DPSUs, but still a very long way to go, and they have to leave Govt Babu culture for good, if they have to become a leading weapon manufacture for Indian Forces or the World.
The battle rifles and Machine guns are basic and its sad that India is not having quality indigenous guns. The PSU guy is talking about product support but nowhere is he mentioning that the weapon is at par with Sig Sauer battle rifle
Samai se 10 sal peche rahne se aap Ka Saman kharedar nehe melega, insus ke bajah se kargil war mei koye sare Sena mara geya.
Everything is good but reliability is the main problem, just like insas
Pishke 15 saal se eh ke pass nhi guns hai ...koi nahi purchase karta kewal police aur local force ko forcefully diya jaa reha ....ofb bekaar company hai...ess bhut acsha weapon sss defence ke hai
Insas ko ofb hi banati hai.
Dhanush ko ofb hi banati hai
Sar mein Janna chahta hun ki Bharat mein acche quality ke weapon hai to fauj bahar ki weapon jyada kyon pasand karte Hain hai
aab banana suru hue hai..jab OFB ko DPSU me change kiya
AWEIL has a great products of 7.62×51mm assault rifle and 8.6×70mm sniper rifle. But lndian army rejected lshapore assault rifle (7.62×51) and choose US made Sig Sauer rifle (7.62×51mm) without any kind of test the assult rifle.Later, Indian army has faced the barrel problem Sig Sauer rifle 7.62×51mm, Next lndian army has blamed OFB made 7.62×51mm bullets.Later, lndian army has denied the barrel problem of Sig Sauer rifle and lndian army cancel any kind of further deal to Sig Sauer rifle.God only knows what will happen to these Sig Sauer rifle against war like situation against China and Pakistan. Also, AWEIL should add barrel "muzzle brake" on 8.6×70mm sniper rifle although lt is a good sniper rifle but lndian army has bought sako .338(8.6×70mm) TRG-42 mm rifle for Loc broder.ITBP will buy 450 sniper rifle for LAC and they may go with forigen made sniper rifles.Modi government has totally ignore AWElL.AWEIL is making AK 103(lt is not foldable but like AK 203) with russian partner in Amethi.lt's not good for our country.Although,AWEIL should improve their products and change their mindset to relevant to weapon market against private (lndian and forigen) players.Aweil should launch polymer based pistols .32 bore (7.62×12mm) and 30 bore(7.62×25mm) for civilian market.Ministry of Home affairs should allow 9mm(9×19mm)pistol and 9mm(9×19mm)revelvor for lndian civilian gun market like US gun market.Although,GOI has given permission private gun makers to make 45 cal(11.43×23mm) pistol for civilian market. This small arm sector can create many jobs in our country and GOl should give more encourage to this sector in our country.Jai Hind.😊😊
Ichapur rifle factory is the worst arms manufacturer. Quality control is worst and that factory should be closed down.

Aree takar xoro sniper yesa banawo jiska range sabse jiyada hai aur lethal ho
America ne Jo gana bhejiye uska range hai 600 m aur iska kitna hai 200 matlab hamare army jante Hain ki quality mein fark hai ab quality to sahi kijiye
Sat ham india me nahi aakhand bharat me rehtehe 😡😡😡
Please fix audio quality
ok
Our arm force are not faith on indigenous rifles as past experience.
We have to keep latest weapons to arm force as terrorists are having advance weapons.
Eg if we need Tejas, AMCA then we should have Rafale also. Mix orders till our weapons are war proven.
When less competent will be in top position and more competent will be lower position due seniority promotion and reservation promotion in government sector how any good thing can be produced..In ordnance factories there are lots of skillful talents but, they are just unutilised and not supported..Goverment pahle foreign ki tarha made in India rasta to banake dikhay desh main, fir foreign se acha made in India rifle mange..

पहले बना लेते ऐसी राइफल...
Us se mat kharido rifle ,swadeshi kharido
Banao mat Quality develop karo warna value chinese khilone jaise hi rahegi...🤣🤣
200 metere is not sufficient
Yes, I agreed due to bakwas Insas Rifle we lost our great brave soldiers...so due to their previous records,no can bleive fortheir quality Rifle....yes SSS or Kalyani or Adani group made Rifles are world class...better buy from these company...
😂😂😂😂😂.... I can give a much better demonstration than these govt employees. Give me some time with these weapons and I will know it even better than them. They don't know about their weapons properly. Chassis is making the weapon lighter and the air all around is cooling the barrel while the barrel is free floating which makes it give better overall accuracy.
PSU can't make good equipment. No one will buy these
Suna hi Us ki pas 5 Kilometres tuk mar kurnyi vale sunaepuer hyi our yi yuhyi pur hyi
Bhai desine itne bekar kyo banate ho isliye army nhi leti desi rifles
Insaaf banaya tha duniya ki Sabse bakwas gan to iske pass isase jyada ummid kya kar sakte hain
Yeh sare gun bakvas hay
insas rifle se to acche hai
ISKO THANOS KE PLANET ME TEST KIYA KAYA ? NAHI KIYA NA IS LIYE INDIAN ARMY NAHI LEGA
Indiginious rifle ko kade tryl se gujar ke terrorist operation m check krna chahiye agr sb chig sahi ho to bhar se lena ka koi jarurat nhi h galti sabse hoti h but sudhar krna ka moka milna chahiye
Insas ek bakwas gun thi😢
Imported lobby will never allow to grow indigenous technology
