Ok so I tried this and the fractals are pointless, I can figure out my entry without it easily. The 3 moving averages work great but I instead use the 25, 50, and 75. And I also use RSI divergence as a confluence indicator. 🤙
Please explain how you can identify which candle will have the fractal without the indicator. Cuz I've noticed the fractals don't form on the candle close sometimes

Hi Awesome Video! I hope you can help! I did everything you said, and the indicators are coming way after the stock has either bounced or dropped using trading view (connected to IKBR). I literally will stare at it and it will bounce then the indicator goes off when the play has passed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Excellent presentation and explanation. However I am a bit confused about the three averages. You did not mention the Williams Alligator indicator, which is essentially the same as the 3MA that you added. However, the alligator is typically used with three periods that are in a fractal pattern (such as 13, 8, 5), along with displacements one notch down from those (8, 5, 3). So can you explain why you chose 100, 50, and 20? They seem like random numbers. -Thanks

With my backtest EURUSD on 1H and 1.5RR. I got 32W vs 21L. So 60%WR and 16% gain (with 1% risk no commissions). I'm also avoiding entering on signals after a large price move. I guess combining this strategy with few more pairs it could work
Well, essentially, all this indicator is doing is telling you price action - trade when it breaks this support, that resistance, this trend, that trend etc. When you understand price action you don't really need indicators like this at all.

I tried this strategy for months; unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. It works only in ideal situations when enters and exits are obvious. On 1min chart, the challenge is to analyze, calculate and enter a position.

Hi! I have a question.
When you notice the signal for long or short trade and williams fractal appears, do you always take action on the 3rd candlestick(1st williams fractal appeared, 2nd nothing happened, 3rd you took action), 2:17 is an example or it is due to tradingview showing williams fractal when the next two candlesticks appear?
Williams Fractals need a confirmation period so they dont appear until two candles of time have passed. So in all examples he entered as soon as it was possible.

I backtested this strategy on btc 5 min tf.I did 200+ trades with this strategy and its NOT woking at all. Win rate is 19/100.

I don't get this, when I go buy long than the line fom up to down should be 20,50,100, but when u go sell short do i need to change settings to 100,50,20 from up do down?

Back tested over a day of choppy Tesla - complete failure. Better off eye-balling it. Where it works, the movement is often less than the spread, and he doesn't say when to close.
It may work with a nice consistent trend, but then it's easy...., look back a couple of time scales and use your noodle.

I have backested this strategy on thousand of trades and the result is completely different. Check the video on my channel. I tested It with regular candle anyway
again, this is another one of those indicators making it appears so easy to apply during live trading session. I noticed it is only looks great in hindsight replay. But during live trading, this indicator lag so bad that it will end up alerting you to buy or sell at the tail end. Meaning, you are minutes too late!!

The EMAs are not "Day" They are "Period"
So on a 1 minute chart 20EMA represents 20 minutes, not days etc

So what happens if the lines cross?
If they cross forming a mess of colors back and forth its a horizontal market = no trend, meaning strat wont work.
If they cross and get placed upside down (100 top 50 mid 20 low)
Means its a downtrend

In TradingView there's a drawing tool called "Long Position"...there's another called "Short Position"
